Airstream Salad ($10.15) with added blackened salmon ($3.75)
Tina F.

Finally made it in here recently. It sits on the corner where Red Robin used to be. You can order on the app, with the cashier or at the bar. It has a wide open space with lots of seating inside and outside. Although it is a fast casual place, they have a bar that serves beer on tap, seltzers, wine and cocktails. I ordered to dine in and then asked for a to go container since I couldn't finish it all. The cashier informed me she couldn't help me with that because I didn't order to go from the start. She said I could use the small containers at the drink station. That seemed unreasonable. I would've plated it myself and just needed the larger container. I ordered the Airstream Salad with blackened salmon. It was delicious. I wasn't sure if I would like the mint in the salad but the flavor melded well with the salad and salmon. In addition, I ordered the Democrat taco. They are very generous with the meat and toppings. This taco was very flavorful and I would definitely order it again after I try other choices that they offer. Unfortunately, I didn't get a receipt from the cashier, so I didn't receive reward points for the meal. I noticed it later when I sat at the bar to eat and order a drink. On the flip side, the bartender, Ant, was great. Super personable, informative and helpful. My only real complaint is this location closes early. It closes at 9 during the week and 10 Friday and Saturday. If they aren't closed when I'm in the area, I would return.

I've been to my fair share of Torchy's Tacos across the US and this location is fab. Nice and open on the inside with clean bathrooms. Food came out fast and with great staff attention to detail, including the alcoholic beverages. High-five to the franchise owner at this location 5/5.

I ate here for lunch today and it was really good. I had the Trailer Park (Fried Chicken) taco and the Fajita Taco. Along with the queso, it had guacamole in the queso too which was delicious. Due to the size of the tacos I would recommend getting two because that was really filling. The service was really quick where I came for lunch break.

Cheers!

Taco lovers unite! Came here around 5:30 with no line and quick attentive service, around 6:30 is when a line can form. Go with the trio with salsa, queso and guacamole with endless chips just ask for More. The trailer park taco has a nice piece of chicken tender in it and the Baja shrimp is not spicy at all. Finally, this location has street corn which is off the cob, it's great!

Finally got to check out Torchy's! I had been hearing a lot of hype for this Winter Garden Village location, and I'm so glad for the new addition to the area. Ordering was easy and quick, and the man who took our orders gave helpful suggestions! I was a big fan of the wild berry frozen margarita - any place that has more than just strawberry and lime flavors is a winner to me! We also started with the threesome - a combo of their guac, queso, and salsa. All 3 were great! The queso had some slight kick to it with the chilis, the guac was great quality, and I enjoyed the milder salsa option. Perfect for sharing! We all got a lot of tacos, but mine were the steak fajita taco and the crossroads taco, which features brisket. I was very impressed by the quality of the chicken in the fajita taco, and it was loaded with toppings! The crossroads might have been my favorite of the two, the brisket was excellent! The jalepenos added some kick. Overall, everyone loved what they ordered and the value felt really good. Prices are super reasonable! My marg was $8.25 for the smaller size, and the shareable trio coming in at under $13 felt nice too. Glad to have this spot nearby!

Took mom there yesterday for lunch! We had two tacos each. She got the fajita steak and fajita chicken. I got the tipsy chicken and the green chile pork. We also ordered the chips and queso cheese. Oh lord everything was so good. It was fresh and the flavors were so elevated. We will definitely be back.

I'm allergic to avocado. I ordered the queso and no idea there was going to be avocado. The gentleman at the front counter brought me a brand new one without giving me a hard time. I had 2 tacos. The one with the fried chicken was my favorite. I can't wait to go back.

One of my favorite tacos, the Fried Avocado! I always switch my tortilla to a flour tortilla too.

Feeling lucky that this is now the SECOND Torchy's location that has opened in Central Florida! This location is located in Winter Garden Village and had plenty of inside and outside seating for us to enjoy our lunch. We visited close to my birthday so we enjoyed a free queso and chips (this is your hint to sign up for their amazing app and Taco Junkie rewards program) as well as a guacamole to start. I can't go to Torchy's without getting the queso. It's a must!! Our tacos came out fresh and fast and we loved our entire lunch. I went with the Fried Avocado taco and switched the corn tortilla for a flour tortilla, which is always my move. This new location lived up to all of the other Torchy's locations that I have visited before back home in Texas. We will be back again soon, we have to take advantage that we finally have a Torchy's in our area!

Beginning of the year at a delicious restaurant with great food for lunch. Torchy taco never disappoints the food is very fresh. Great quality ingredients and super tasty. This is definitely one of my favorite spots for some Tex-Mex food, but with an incredible taste. Plenty of parking plenty of sitting and lots of options for all preferences. The service is always some point in the atmosphere is always vibing!!

Migas (V) taco

My partner tried Torchy's when he was in Arizona last week and raved about his burrito so once he got home I gave him the good news that we have a few locations here! We decided to make dinner plans easy on ourselves and stop in. Parking was easy as it wasn't a busy evening but it is a shared lot and one that I know can be crowded so keep that in mind. We walked in and were greeted and asked if we had any questions, etc. we ordered two steak burritos and a migas taco (I couldn't resist) and 2 fountain drinks. We took our pager and grabbed our drinks at the soda counter. They have good ice (IYKYK) and a nice variety of sodas (Cherry Fanta?!), the weather was cooperating so we opted to dine on the patio. Our food came out and I was ready to chow down. The burrito was pretty good and a huge portion. Nothing out of this world but decent. The migas taco was heartbreaking. A huge let down. The best migas tacos I've had were all in Austin, TX and Torchy's being from Austin my expectations were pretty high I suppose. The taco had what I would describe as an overcooked omelet covered in a lot of things to hide the taste (or lack of taste) of the egg. I took one disappointing bite and then watched that $5 slowly crash into the trash bin. Long story short, I wouldn't refuse to come back but I wouldn't drive the 40 mins we did just to dine here either.

This is a great addition to the local taco scene. Like competitor Velvet Taco, Torchy's is a chain out of Texas that specializes in high-end taco assembly. Their menu offers a wide variety of semi-traditional and eclectic taco. We liked all three that we tried: Trailer Park Taco - fried chicken and a bunch of stuff on a flour tortilla. This wasn't my favorite, but my wife liked it a lot. It's pretty far from any Mexican origins! Green Gile Pork on a corn tortilla. The most traditional, this contained very succulent carnitas. Mr. Orange - This was my favorite. A delicious piece of grilled salmon with a somewhat spicy sauce and lots of cilantro. I really liked that all the tacos had completely different ingredients, which is very different from most assemblage places. I usually prefer sit down restaurants to quick serves, but it's worth noting that they do have margaritas, and you can come in, sit at the bar, and order food and drinks. Be sure to join their club and get a free half order of queso and chips-- it was large and delicious.

This place was AWESOME. I see why people are super excited about it and it's all the rage on social media. We got the chance to visit last Friday and although it was super packed, the staff were super attentive and doing their best to make sure that people were served and taken care of in a timely matter. The tacos themselves were large and priced fairly imo. A lot better than the majority of those 'boutique' taco places in central Florida. We ordered 5 different tacos (Baja Shrimp, Democrat x2, Steak Fajita, Crossroads) and shared them all as well as the chips and queso, the churros, rice and beans, a margarita, and a couple of beers. The Democrat and Crossroads were delicious. The other ones were good. I would not get the steak fajita again just because there are so many other great options there. The chips and queso were really good but for some they may consider it a little spicy. (Not me, I like that heat) The margarita (frozen) was FIRE. 100% would get it again. Now... the churros... oh good lord the churros. I haven't had a churro that good in a LONG time. 100% could eat that all day even without the sauce. The ambiance itself is very text/mexy but I enjoyed it a TON and we will 100% be going back.

Obsessed & so wish this was closer to us! It's a little over thirty minutes so not a terrible drive but not as convenient as it could be. However it is worth the trek! It's basically an a la carte taco restaurant where you purchase each taco individually for $5-$6 ish and there's soooo many interesting flavors to choose from. The Mad Cow (off the secret menu) was hands down my favorite! It has steak, refried beans, a Chipotle sauce, and corn. The queso is just a little spicy and PHENOMENAL. But all the flavors for everything we tried were fresh and delicious. There's a huge number of sauces and meats to choose from. They have a soda fountain with Coke products as well as a bar with excellent (& strong) margaritas. This will definitely be part of our regular rotation of restaurants moving forward.

One thing I like about it is that the line moves relatively quickly and the staff is always on top of ensuring everyone is satisfied. On this particular occasion, I went in for lunch. Again, busy. That's typically my favorite part. Now, I probably should have dove more into it, but the line was long behind me and I didn't want to hold them up. I quickly checked out and feel like everytime I do, it gets more expensive but its totally worth it. I was coming…read morefrom Disney Springs and heading to do some shopping up on Sand Lake Road so this was the perfect area to stop in. There are quite a few places in this complex to dying and so far I've had good food from all that I've been to. This area has really been built up in recent years. So he stopped in here during lunch and I was able to walk right up to the counter. I did have to wait a couple minutes before someone offered to take my order and then they had to step away quickly because the alarm was going off for the deep fryer and the taco shells were done. The other gentlemen working stepped over and took my order. I picked the General Tso's tacos which is kind of a fusion of Hispanic and Asian food. Then the website they come with a choice of crunchy chicken or extra crunchy chicken and then it's tossed in the sauce which is fairly mild and they add some of their lime rice along with cilantro, jalapeños and lettuce. It also comes with some chips. I asked for extra jalapeños. I realized later I should've asked for extra sauce. My food was prepared quickly and set up for me to dine in because I told them I was eating there. I did get a drink to go with my meal and I found myself a seat to enjoy my tacos. The jalapeños are very unevenly sliced, and there were some very large pieces in these. I probably got more than I intended, but I did like them. My problem was that the chicken itself just needed more sauce. I tried to piece on its own and was able to confirm this. The chips were good and helped balance the burn from the jalapeños. My meal was filling and enjoyable. When I was done, I went to refill my drink and grab a lid and a straw to take with me. I went over and filled it up and grabbed a straw, and I couldn't find any lids. I turned around and saw some lives on the counter, but when I walked over and looked, I realized they were only for larger cups. One of the employees walked over to see if they could help me and when I asked about a lid they said "oh sorry we don't have any lids for that size cup". I kind of felt that it would've been nice if they had offered me a cup that I could put a lid on, but I just took my soda with me and drank a bit so it wouldn't spill in the car on my drive. The surprise was that I got a text from Bubbakoos asking me to answer a few questions survey about my visit when I was in the car. So I filled out the survey and explained about my meal and that I enjoyed it, but they had no lids and I should've gotten more sauce for my tacos. Part of that is really on me. They were very busy once I was seated and I did not want to bother them. Someone from management sent me a message later thanking me for my review and apologizing for the issue I had and gave me a gift card towards my next meal. I was not expecting that, but I will put it to good use because I do like Bubbakoos.

The other girl, who was preparing the food, was the opposite in her demeanor. She did not seem to want to be there that day. We ordered one birria quesadilla with Fajita veggies and the other had extra queso instead of veggies. They were huge and stuffed with meat, which we loved. What I didn't like was that the quesadillas did not have a lot of cheese on the outside and they were not crispy. It seemed it wasn't on the grill long enough to crisp up the cheese. The flavor was good and the inside contents were generous. They also give guacamole at no extra charge, unlike their competitors. I would likely try it again and maybe order in person vs. the app so that I can specifically request a crispy cheese-crusted quesdailla.

Crispy chopped chicken, pickles, Nashville hot sauce, and ranch dressing... yeah, they were excellent. The tacos were great as always. They really pile them up...very generous portions. Now... the burrito was an absolute disappointment. Don't get me wrong, the ingredients were tasty, but it was so small that I honestly felt cheated out of my hard-earned money. There was barely any meat on it. All rice and beans. Definitely not worth the price, and I won't order it again unless the portion size improves. Customer service was great overall.
