The atmosphere is really nice and will be even better once they put some TVs in the patio area but the food and service is really what sets this place apart, all the workers are really nice and helpful and the chef Chuy went above and beyond to make my meal. I ordered the Cali burrito but I had it customized so it had additional ingredients beyond what is listed on the menu and Chuy had no problem customizing it. The staff was so kind and welcoming, giving us help choosing what we wanted to try based on dietary restrictions and curiosity! I love a good taco place and this place is good! I discovered this while checking out another place close by and decided to get some tacos. The place is nice and clean, and colorful. I love that I was able to order without having to wait for someone to assist me. I took my time looking through the menu and they have some delicious items on the menu (I definitely need to go back!) I know good Mexican food when I taste it, and Fogata definitely brought the heat. I started off with chips and salsa--chips were just okay, salsa was decent--but the tacos? Slammin'. No exaggeration, these were some of the best birria tacos I've had. The rice and beans? Solid. Really tasty. No filler sides here. Service was friendly and efficient--place is counter-order style, but everyone was chill and helpful. Pricing was reasonable, especially for the quality. Fun fact: La Fogata is run by the same folks behind Fruta Mix, which is one of my favorite taco spots in Ocoee. So if you know Fruta Mix, you already know what kind of flavor game they're playing. We were really excited to try Fogata after seeing the 4.0 rating, but unfortunately our experience didn't quite live up to the hype. We started with the trio (chicharrón, guacamole, and refried beans). We asked for no cheese on the beans and they still came with it, though we removed it ourselves -- not a huge issue. The bigger problem was that everything lacked flavor and salt. I don't usually prefer overly salty food, but this was noticeably bland across the board. We tried several tacos, including the al pastor specialty, which is usually full of flavor, but it felt off. One steak taco with fries was mostly fries and didn't work for us, and the carnitas were on the drier side and also lacking seasoning. Surprisingly, the regular steak taco ended up being the best thing we had and the highlight of the meal along with the great atmosphere and friendly staff. With so many great Mexican spots nearby, it was a bit disappointing overall. Hoping this was just an off day, because we really wanted to love it. read more

First time coming here and even hearing of this street taco restaurant, it's located in Ocoee. When you first walk in you can smell the tacos. The inside there is a kind of bar seating along the walls. They do have an outdoor patio with chairs and tables. They brought out chips and salsa and the salsa was just perfect! Not too hot and just enough spice. I ordered the Elote which was AMAZING, definitely recommend trying it! It's corn on cobb with mayo, cotija cheese and tajin seasoning! I also got two corn tacos with steak, it came with onions and cilantro. They were delicious! It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. Not sure if this is a chain or just a one off restaurant, but I can say I completely recommend these tacos. I got the Birria, shrimp, and steak tacos. The food was fresh and came with a side of freshly cut radish, cut lime, and a hot pepper (it was actually hot). The birria was good but just okay, the shrimp and steak were the standouts. Great flavor, fresh, and with the lime and extra sauce added to them they were amazing. We were pleasantly surprised and glad we stopped! The food was delicious, tasty, fresh, authentic and made to order with good ingredients. The restaurant is clean, has outside and limited inside seating and it has nice decor. Came here for take out dinner. Great to see a new spot open in the area. Plenty of seating indoor and the outdoor patio. You order at a kiosks and they text you when the order is ready. 2 inch piece of plastic in my food and I could barely breathe for 30 seconds. I purchased the vegetarian quesadillas with orange mexican rice. As I was finishing the food, I starting choking and I couldnt understand why. I tried to yell for my wife but she was in the shower getting ready for an event we had to attend. I had to take my hand and pull the food out of my throat. What a terrible experience. I hope you be careful eating here. This is unacceptable that a foreign object was in my food. The sad thing about all of this, I put this information in a face book group and the owners/or someone related to the business told me I should not be posting this to protect other people and kids because it could ruin there business. Of course my wife didn't eat her food so we had to be late to the event to stop and get her more food. We spent $400 on concert tickets and was late because of Fogata Street Tacos. My family has been waiting for months for this resturant to open. We had the chicken street tacos, carne street tacos, guacamole and chips, and queso and chips. Everything was amazing. The corn tortillas are made fresh daily in the resturant and you can tell. I have found my new tacos spot. I can't wait to go back and try more menu items. The guacamole was so fresh and man when I say I should have ordered two containers. It was delicious! The pork on the tacos was seasoned and moist, it was my favorite. I would suggest having cilantro on the side alone without the onion. My kids love fresh cilantro but not raw onion. She they were disappointed when dressing their tacos. They just opened today 2/16/2022, so the menu had all items priced incorrectly. The price difference was $1-$2 from what was printed. I had to ask why the total wasn't what I expected. I did let the cashier know they should tell customers that before ordering. We understand they are just opening, so no big deal, but it would be good to know before you start ordering. We tried this new taco location located in Ocoee for the first time. We came on a Friday night for dinner at it was kinda crowded. We chose to order our food to-go and ordered some street tacos ($4) each and a side of guacamole which came with their chips. Once we got home (less than 5 mins), I noticed the tacos are wrapped in two soft tortilla shells and the meat was a decent amount. They put in the bag a red and green sauce. I found either one not spicy at all so I added hot sauce of our own at home. I do like they had the small container of fresh onions and cilantro separately since I love that and my doesn't. Overall I loved my Al pastor taco more than the carnitas since it found the carnitas to be a little dry. My husband loved his chorizo taco more than the steak with the same complaint. Their guacamole was pretty tasty with chinch's of tomato and onions in it. We did spend almost $30 on the four tacos and guacamole so it is a little expensive but overall not a bad experience. read more

New location that finally opened near my house. We were able to go in and order right away and the employee at the register was able to answer our questions and was very friendly. I ordered a shrimp and al pastor taco to try some of my typical favorites. They were good tacos and had good flavor. I have had others that were great or fantastic, but these were good. They kids tried tacos as well (beef). They were expecting ground beef, but it was more of chopped steak. One really liked it and one was not a fan. The refried beans were pretty awesome thought!!
