Really Taco Bell?? Where is the cheese!! How did this even make it to the bag?!?
Annie N.

This location just opened in Winter Garden, in the Hamlin area. It is the newer, cleaner looking style Taco Bell. It is also the only drive through I have seen that has two specific drive thru lines. One line is for regular ordering and the other line is for mobile ordering, I'm assuming to get you through the line faster, since you have mobile ordered. I thought this was very interesting and a great idea. I did not go inside but assume that it was nice and clean since it is brand new. I did the regular drive thru. The menu is typical Taco Bell, nothing unique or different. If you have never been to a Taco Bell, they have tacos (of course), burritos, quesadillas, nachos and more. They are a great alternative to your typical burger and fries fast food. I went for lunch and there was no one there so I had no wait. I ordered right away and pulled up to the window. The employee was fine, not rude but also not friendly. Did not say hello even after I said hi. He took my card, threw my drink and card back at me. He then threw my bag to me and shut the window. I waited because I wanted hot sauce. He finally came back and got me some. Now when I got home this is when I was unimpressed. I ordered a steak quesadilla which came with a drink and a taco and then just plain nachos and cheese. The quesadilla was fine, it was hot but had hardly any steak in it. It was more of a cheese quesadilla. The taco was fine, typical Taco Bell taco. The nachos, they tasted burnt, like really burnt but they were not. This tells me the oil was probably old. They really were not good. And the cheese sauce, I cant even imagine someone would send it out looking how it did. It had so little, the sauce was just on the rim. There was hardly any. (You can see the picture I posted). It was pretty bad. All in all, this is ok. It is really great to have something different in the area. I have seen a lot of negative reviews already for this location and I will say, the food is just ok. I have never had nachos from Taco Bell that tasted so terrible as these did and then to not even get a cheese cup to dip it in. The staff is just ok, I think training is needed. I do really hope they can step it up because this is a great late-night snack or even lunch.

Glad see this location finally open in Hamlin as of 5/11/23. The team working inside were all friendly and excited to have guest visiting. Food came out quick and was extremely fresh. Multiple kiosk located inside to place your order, and the drink station is self serve. Happy hour is 2-5 for $1 drinks!

For being a new location, this place is terrible. The service isn't that great. When you Google search this location and visit the Taco Bell website it says it's open from 10am-12am but on here it says they are only open until 10pm and the door says 10pm. Which is it? It's 9:15pm on a Friday and all the chairs are up inside and they are cleaning and the doors are locked. It's not even 10pm yet. That's horrible business practice. Last time I was here they weren't even accepting credit cards. Cash only. We just tried to enter and were told the inside is closed because they are out of 10" tortillas (and a few things I couldn't understand what he said) so they can't make anything. I don't understand what that has to do with eating inside-- especially if I'm not ordering anything that they're out of. Hands down the worst location which is sad considering how new it is and how excited we were to have a Taco Bell nearby. I have yet to have a good experience at this location and I have only come here 4 times, only actually being served 2x. Our first time we waited over 10 minutes for someone to give us a cup for the soda we ordered. And that's not an exaggeration.

Not sure what happened here, but there seems to be an issue every time we go to this location. These burritos are the worst so far. But in the past they've been out of drinks, out of all lids for cups, I can't think of a time where we've been that they've been fully stocked

What's the point of ordering ahead if the mobile pickup line is 10x as long as the regular? this is insane!

Another lame fast food restaurant in the area that can't keep up with the thousands of people living here. No mobile ordering.

Everytime I go here they are out of something. Is it poor ordering or lazy staff that don't want to restock the items? Out of Pepsi today.

One thing I like about it is that the line moves relatively quickly and the staff is always on top of ensuring everyone is satisfied. On this particular occasion, I went in for lunch. Again, busy. I moved in the line and ordered a steak bowl. I was a little frustrated because they didn't have peppers available and didn't necessarily give me a time frame of when it would be ready. That's typically my favorite part. Now, I probably should have dove more into it, but the line was long behind me and I didn't want to hold them up. I quickly checked out and feel like everytime I do, it gets more expensive but its totally worth it. Will definitely come back to this establishment - hopefully they'll have peppers next time (fingers crossed!)

My chips were also broken in the bag and lettuce used on my bowl could have been fresher. I also understand why most people were getting orders to-go

I was coming…read morefrom Disney Springs and heading to do some shopping up on Sand Lake Road so this was the perfect area to stop in. There are quite a few places in this complex to dying and so far I've had good food from all that I've been to. This area has really been built up in recent years. So he stopped in here during lunch and I was able to walk right up to the counter. I did have to wait a couple minutes before someone offered to take my order and then they had to step away quickly because the alarm was going off for the deep fryer and the taco shells were done. The other gentlemen working stepped over and took my order. I picked the General Tso's tacos which is kind of a fusion of Hispanic and Asian food. Then the website they come with a choice of crunchy chicken or extra crunchy chicken and then it's tossed in the sauce which is fairly mild and they add some of their lime rice along with cilantro, jalapeños and lettuce. It also comes with some chips. I asked for extra jalapeños. I realized later I should've asked for extra sauce. My food was prepared quickly and set up for me to dine in because I told them I was eating there. I did get a drink to go with my meal and I found myself a seat to enjoy my tacos. The jalapeños are very unevenly sliced, and there were some very large pieces in these. I probably got more than I intended, but I did like them. My problem was that the chicken itself just needed more sauce. I tried to piece on its own and was able to confirm this. The chips were good and helped balance the burn from the jalapeños. My meal was filling and enjoyable. When I was done, I went to refill my drink and grab a lid and a straw to take with me. I went over and filled it up and grabbed a straw, and I couldn't find any lids. I turned around and saw some lives on the counter, but when I walked over and looked, I realized they were only for larger cups. One of the employees walked over to see if they could help me and when I asked about a lid they said "oh sorry we don't have any lids for that size cup". I kind of felt that it would've been nice if they had offered me a cup that I could put a lid on, but I just took my soda with me and drank a bit so it wouldn't spill in the car on my drive. The surprise was that I got a text from Bubbakoos asking me to answer a few questions survey about my visit when I was in the car. So I filled out the survey and explained about my meal and that I enjoyed it, but they had no lids and I should've gotten more sauce for my tacos. Part of that is really on me. They were very busy once I was seated and I did not want to bother them. Someone from management sent me a message later thanking me for my review and apologizing for the issue I had and gave me a gift card towards my next meal. I was not expecting that, but I will put it to good use because I do like Bubbakoos.

After watching several tik tok videos on them, I finally stopped in to check it out for myself. The layout of the place is very similar to Chipotle, including how you place your order. I did a mobile order, so I skipped the line and went straight to the girl at the register. She was so friendly and helpful. The other girl, who was preparing the food, was the opposite in her demeanor. She did not seem to want to be there that day. We ordered one birria quesadilla with Fajita veggies and the other had extra queso instead of veggies. They were huge and stuffed with meat, which we loved. What I didn't like was that the quesadillas did not have a lot of cheese on the outside and they were not crispy. It seemed it wasn't on the grill long enough to crisp up the cheese. The flavor was good and the inside contents were generous. They also give guacamole at no extra charge, unlike their competitors. I would likely try it again and maybe order in person vs. the app so that I can specifically request a crispy cheese-crusted quesdailla.

Unfortunately, the staff situation was rough from the start and honestly pretty off-putting. It seemed like they didn't have a good handle on balancing in-store customers with online orders. Since it's counter service, we expected things to move fairly quickly, but there was almost a 20-minute gap between taking my order and my husband's during the same transaction. The food wasn't awful, but it also wasn't amazing. The chicken was bland and dry, and a lot of the ingredients seemed very pre-packaged. We watched staff refill the cheese and guac directly from bags and even dump it from the bag onto someone's plate, which took away from the overall experience. I walked in, was greeted right away, and picked up my online order. It was well past lunch, so the place was pretty empty. I usually get their tacos and taco salads, and they're always solid. This time, I decided to switch things up and try some other menu items. I went with the Nashville fries and two burritos. As I was walking out, I noticed it was Taco Tuesday, so of course, I went back in and grabbed a few tacos: two carnitas and one chicken. The Nashville fries are so good. Crispy chopped chicken, pickles, Nashville hot sauce, and ranch dressing... yeah, they were excellent. The tacos were great as always. They really pile them up...very generous portions. Now... the burrito was an absolute disappointment. Don't get me wrong, the ingredients were tasty, but it was so small that I honestly felt cheated out of my hard-earned money. There was barely any meat on it. All rice and beans. Definitely not worth the price, and I won't order it again unless the portion size improves. Customer service was great overall. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. All in all, I definitely recommend Bubbakoo's. But for the love of God, don't order the burritos.

The Baconator Breakfast Sandwich and the Sausage & Egg Burrito are absolute perfection. The bacon is thick, crispy, and smoky; the sausage patty is juicy and seasoned just right; and somehow everything stays together without turning into a soggy mess. Pair it with their seasoned potatoes and a coffee, and I'm set for the whole morning. Then there's the regular menu--where do I even begin? The classic Dave's Single and Spicy Chicken Sandwich are always solid, but the Baconator is my forever love. Double stacks of beef, six strips of applewood smoked bacon, cheese dripping everywhere... it's ridiculous in the absolute best way. And the fact that Wendy's still uses fresh, never-frozen beef and cuts their lettuce and tomatoes right there? You can taste the difference. And the Frosty. Oh my gosh, the Frosty.
