Not My Favorite Location, But Still a Torchy's Been to a good half dozen or more Torchy's locations and each one is a little different in decore, layout, service and even food. Since I usually get at least one of the same things -- Green Chili Pork and the Brushfire, as does my wife -- the Democrat and Baja Shrimp, it is easy to compare. We also always get Green Chili Queso and often Guacamole as well. I did not like the layout of this version of Torchy's as much as others. The bar just felt in the way. The person at the register seemed totally distracted. Was also disappointed that the Queso came after the tacos were delivered, which has never happened at another location. And, perhaps my imagination, but the tacos did not feel as filled. Flavor of everything was excellent as at all locations, but I can't give more than 3 stars because of the other issues. read more

4.25 stars. Damn good tacos. Torchy's tacos in Euless is a terrific order at the counter, eat at the table place. They have an excellent variety of inventive, tasty tacos. Torchy's is located in a huge strip center. Don't let that turn you away. There is plenty of parking just outside the door. There is patio seating as well as indoor seating, and there is a huge bar where you can dine (and drink) as well. This was my first time at Torchy's. The young man that took my order was exceptionally helpful in making my order, and he was concerned that I have an incredible experience. Kudos to him! He said that each taco comes à la carte, so you should probably order two or more depending on how hungry you are. He suggested I order the salmon taco, or Mr Orange, and a beef fajita taco. Both were surprisingly excellent, huge with large amounts of the protein and yummy specialty toppings. I also ordered chips and red salsa. The chips were your standard variety thin corn chip, but the salsa came in a huge mortar bowl. There was enough for not only the chips, but anything else you might order that needs a topping of their delicious homemade red salsa. I did not try any drinks from the bar, but I can say that the iced tea, both sweet and unsweet, were proper. I highly recommend Torchy's Tacos here in Euless as a great place to get your taco on. It is a formidable competitor to the nearby Fuzzy's, which I enjoy as well. The one thing that Fuzzy's doesn't have is that helpful young guy taking orders at the register. Such a great place for any and all families! There's a little something for everyone. Love how big the actual building was, we had a huge party and it was so easy to scoot tables together to eat. Made it so convenient! The staff was absolutely welcoming and super super friendly! Very helpful with the menu as well. Lord, I don't even know what to say about the food. Well, I dined in, and honestly that appears to be the way to go at this location. First time I'd been in this particular one. I've seen it, but had no idea it's been here over two years and I probably drive up this way at least once a week for business. I hadn't had great visits with the Torchy's in Arlington so I hadn't made going here a priority or anything. But a few nights ago I decided to throw caution to the wind and check it out, mainly since I was close by. Walked in around eight or so, went around to the side of the bar and just plopped down. Best way to go for me. Don't ask, just go sit at the bar. Got waited on pretty quick, menu, grabbed a beer. Now, first thing I noticed, and I gotta give grudging credit to, is the bartender, without asking, just served me the larger, 20 oz beer. Now, I didn't complain, cause if you know me, you know I'm ALL ABOUT THE BIGGER BEER OPTION. However, the fact that she didn't ask, I give her high marks for the stealth upsell. Moving on...I ordered queso and salsa, also a little stealth upsell, because unless you ask, or maybe it doesn't matter, they charge you for both full orders. I know this because I ran over to the bafroom and when I got back I had two baskets of chips with the queso and salsa. Hey, whatever, this place knows how to maximize, or the bartender works a mean bar. None of this "order of queso and add salsa" nonsense here. But the queso and salsa are both really good, and haven't changed much since the early days. I went ahead and ordered a taco, the Brushfire. Had it several times, and it was really good, except it had to much sour cream for my tastes. Anyway, I didn't complain when I ordered another beer and another 20 oz got dumped in front of me. I ate quite a bit of the queso and salsa, and all the taco. It was good stuff and service was fast and efficient. Will be going back from time to time when I find myself with nothing else better to do, like the story of my every Friday night has been lately. read more

Great spot for a unique taco. I enjpyed the "Trailer Park" and the "Baja Shrimp" tacos with chips and queso on my visit. Both the queso and the tacos were unique and I eat a lot of tacos and queso! I also had the house margaritas and the manager, Eli, recommended I try the sucker punch as well. The drinks exceeded my expectations for being more a quick service style restaurant. One of my favorite places to have lunch but it can get chaotic from time to time due to foot traffic. I had the best experience on my last visit, The manager Juan took care of me and my group while we dined there for lunch. He ensured we got our food on time, and it came out perfect! First - I am a regular customer, not at this location though but we've picked up to go food a few times and it hasn't been good and I'm finally just done. So today literally just got home from picking up food, tacos are cold and the queso is not even half filled and cold/hard!! (See photo) had no sauce, avocado..nothing...it's completely half a$$ and looks like they just poured someone's old half eaten queso into a cup - so I was already annoyed, I'm sorry if you want to charge $7+ for queso - do better people!! I probably come here at least 2-3 times a week, and for good reason! The servers are very kind and attentive, the tacos are incredibly flavorful and unique, and they mix things up every month with a taco of the month. I usually get the Mr. Orange and the Trailer Park, but I will sometimes get a Taco of the Month as well, and I never get tired of it! The atmosphere is chic and fun with excellent music to boot. The republican tacos are made with a spicy jalapeño cheddar sausage, the democratic were made with a delicious barbacoa, the trailer park is made with fried chicken, and the chicken fajitas is just what is sounds like. You can add and take off what comes with the tacos. You can choose from flour or corn tortillas. The salsa and chips are fresh. Chips get refilled and the salsa is flavorful with hit of spicy. Definitely try the frozen strawberry margarita! It's flavorful and refreshing. Staff is super friendly, they took time to explain the menu. Had lunch with my niece at Torchys. Soo. Good. Did you know there is a secret menu? I have the Texas Hottie and the brisket yumminess on the secret menu named the Matador? The Cayenne sauce served with the Texas hottie I could eat by the cup it's so good. My niece had the fried avocado and the Baja shrimp. We also had an order of chips and queso and Mexican street corn. Needless to say, we had to go bags to enjoy the awesomeness later. I have never had a bad meal at torchy's and everything that I have tried has been top notch. The quality of product that they use and the servings are really impressive. I have been to multiple locations of Torchy's and I think this is probably my favorite as far as Decor is concerned. They did the Sputnik light fixture idea but was a step up from the ones they've used in the other locations. I love the geometric metal framing they used throughout the restaurant, definitely give it some cool visual diversity. They had a nice outdoor patio as well but it was way too humid for us to give it a try. I definitely say two big thumbs up for this visit!! read more

Got some takeout today from this Torchy's location which just opened last week. Super easy online ordering and food ready on time. I got the Democrat and shrimp tacos; both were excellent. A good amount of protein in both. Husband got the Brushfire which he said was great, and the Republican which was disappointing. Said it was more or less like a hot dog with its solid chunk of sausage. I know their queso is held in high regard, and I had ordered some previously at another location and was underwhelmed, but the queso we got today was delicious. We'll definitely be back.
