I was waiting on my food across the way and saw Topp'd was selling a peach cobbler sour beer and had to try it! It ended up being my $7 for a 12 oz which seemed pretty pricey for a small beer in my opinion. The beer was fantastic other than that, it was sweet but sour enough to be called a sour. I was having trouble reading what all they offered beer wise because the menu was only on the TVs behind the bar. If they could have a QR code menu that would be great for people with bad eyesight.

Love Topp'd and visit here frequently while in the area! The pizza options are delicious and unique - I haven't had a bad one yet, though my favorites are Topp'd Out, Greek, and the Margherita. Yum. The salads are also great, so I love the pizza/salad combo option to get the best of both worlds. I love that it's a scratch kitchen and everything is super fresh! The staff are super friendly and service is always good, too.

I always love when I have lunch at Topp'd. Ordering here is very easy, you can use the kiosks at the front and leave your number. Staff will call out your order when it is ready. I typically get the pepperoni pizza. Although this is a personal pan size, I always have leftovers and find I can make 2 meals out of it. The crust has a perfect crunch and the pepperonis are great quality. This does get greasy so I would recommend having plenty of napkins.

2nd visit 5/22/21: Loved visiting the Lenexa Public Market for Yelp's Adventure in KC challenge to get out and explore new places. I love seeing new places, I I was super happy to see Topp'd on the list of places to check out -- bc it's so good!! Boys got a small monster meat pizza and my daughter and I split another small - Half margarita and half sausage and pepperoni. I'm not a huge fan of processed meats, so if you aren't either, I wouldn't recommend anything but their Canadian bacon (ham). It was tastier than the others. The employees were all great, but the main guy taking our order was pretty new and didn't know the menu well enough to tell us what was on each pizza. But they pulled together their knowledge, and got our order correct. Phew. Crisis averted. Owner came by during ordering - what a fun conversationalist. An idea: - Have the folks taking the orders memorize the menu better before putting them right on ordering. - less cheese! I thought my kids were going to choke it was so thick It was a great lunch!!

Build your own, small : black olives, jalapeños, red onions, pineapples, extra cheese. Side of buttermilk dressing.

Much better than I expected it was going to be. Nice people, fast service, lots of options and interesting specials. I was torn between the build your own or a Tai peanut pizza. I was in the mood for pizza and this was the closest option. Pretty laid back ambiance. Glad I gave it a try. Will probably go back.

They are too generous with their toppings. The crust is thin and cooked very well. The BBQ chicken is tasty. I got a custom small. Plenty for lunch. There is not a lot of customer interaction until pick-up. It is the nature of food service now. The environment is the best part of City Center. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun.

Went to Public Market in Lenexa KS for first time. Tried Topp'd and it was excellent. I got a Italian sausage, mushroom, caramelized onions and green pepper pizza and my wife got the Topp'd which is there deluxe. Side salads for both of us. Mine I ordered all spinach which is nice option. Excellent. Italian sausage was not hot/spicy which is what I like. Mild. Service was on point.

We snagged lunch from Topp'd during the Yelp challenge in May. It is inside the lenexa public market. It was easy and quick for us to order. I'm we got the Buffalo chicken pizza and the bbq chicken pizza. Both were good, but I loved the Buffalo! I would definitely stop back by when in the area again.

TERRIBLE, RUDE STAFF. EXPENSIVE FOOD This is for you Carson. Behind the counter, you were aggressive and told me to leave this review so here you go. .....This will get windy, but if you'd like, skip to the end and I'll tell you about my experience. Went in to get food at 7pm on a Thursday night. Building was empty and found Topp'd to be the only place open. I'd heard the horror stories about this place due to 2,000 of us working in an engineering office nearby but since it was the only thing open, we had no option. I looked this place up before and found the following comments regarding their service left by other Yelpers.... "This individual had a bossy New Jersey type attitude in suburban KC and acted like he was doing the world a favor by waiting on us". "The manager was rude and short". "This same female worker replied 'you have to wait like everyone else, if you want beer you can go somewhere else' ". "Our recent visit, the two men working were arguing over how long they'd been working all day which isn't great to hear as a customer. Then they were rude to us too". Ok. So that gets me to my visit last night. Long story short, our family and three other families in our group get our food. Total tab for pizzas beers, and kids drinks ~$200. We tipped around $40 to the two guys working behind the counter. Pizza comes out, looks good. Then my 6 year old daughter wants to know if I can grab her some ranch to dip her pizza in. I go up to the counter, ask for some ranch. 1 of the 2 employees hands me a 2oz plastic cup of ranch, I thank him, then walk off. Now enters one of the most passive-aggressive service individuals I have ever met. Corey was his name. I get a few feet back to our table and he tells me, "hey, you gotta pay for that". I'm like, "for this?" showing him the tiny cup. He said "yeah, everyone has to pay for it. It's $0.83". In my mind, I'm thinking, "ok man. We just paid $200 for food and tipped you $40 and now you want me to pay you another $0.83". Ok whatever. So I use my debit card to pay for the ranch and then ask politely if they'll just throw another one in since the cup is so small, the other employee hands me one, and I start to walk off. Here we go again...Corey then gives me another hard "No". Then threatens me by saying "IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR IT, GIVE ME THE CUP BACK". Not wanting Corey to come out from behind the counter and make a huge scene in front of my family, I pay the $0.83. Just absolutely terrible service. Carson, if you're reading this, I'm sorry you have to work at a pizza joint as a young adult. I'm sorry if there are things going on in your life that cause you to take that anger and aggression out on customers. I hope you find peace in what you're looking for. The service industry isn't made for you and Topp'd should be embarrassed for having someone like you represent them. If you're thinking about going out for pizza, there are other options available. Minskys, Spin Pizza, MOD, Blaze. Stay away from Topp'd.

Customer service is very poor - bad attitude! Food is just ok, so the bad attitude made this my final experience with them.

You walk in expecting a nice dinner in Shawnee, Kansas. What you get instead is Michelin-star-level…read moreservice, presentation, and hospitality, delivered with warmth, confidence, and zero pretension. The kind of place where the plates look like art, but you immediately destroy them because the food smells too good to admire for long. Then the owner comes to your table -- and not in the "just checking in" way. No. She guides you. She explains everything: where the menu comes from, why it exists, what flavors are about to happen, and why you're about to rethink your life choices up to this point. She speaks with passion, clarity, and genuine pride -- and suddenly you trust her with your entire evening. Possibly your future. The menu itself is a beautifully orchestrated mix of Spanish, Mexican, Italian, and Argentine cuisine, and somehow none of it fights for attention. Every dish knows exactly what it's doing. Appetizers? Fantastic. Main courses? Outstanding. Desserts? Referred to as "more than delicious," which sounds like exaggeration until you taste them and realize it's just accurate reporting. And the wine -- oh, the wine. A Malbec lineup that could convert people who "don't really like red wine" into people who suddenly have opinions about terroir. Think it's only a dinner spot? Incorrect. They also serve lunch, featuring amazing sandwiches and small plates that make you wonder why you're ever eating lunch anywhere else. And yes -- there's brunch, which is just unfair to other brunch places trying their best. What truly seals the deal, though, is the owner herself. She is kind, genuine, passionate, and unforgettable. If you're lucky enough to meet her, you'll leave feeling oddly uplifted -- well fed, well treated, and slightly convinced the universe wanted you there that night. This is not a "walk in when you have time" restaurant. This is a run, don't walk dining experience. Put it on your list. Move it to the top. Then go -- and thank me later.

I tried one of their new drinks off their new seasonal menu, the rum and coke with cream. It was not my favorite, something about it was just off. When we received our appetizers I have to say the fried pickles had to be one of my favorites. The way they fry them are superb! When it came to the shrimp on my Caesar, it actually made me sick:( and my mom's mashed potato's were flavorless and she could not eat them. Other than food upsets it seemed like a lively place even on a week night!

Pretty good eats, great specials, and a full bar makes for a solid dining option for solos, couples, or families. You'll find Murphy's Corner nestled into a strip center facing 87th. The owner apparently did catering prior to opening this space and you can certainly tell with the food. The menu has lots of options, from standard pub fare to housemade pizza to some rather artisanal salads. I'd suggest the chicken sandwich, hand-breaded and fantastic. Or even the Hinkle, roast beef & thinly cut pork tenderloin with a sweet pepper aioli, is a fabulous sandwich. But don't miss that happy hour from 2:00-6:00 on weekdays. The smashburger special runs $6 for a single, and even that is a fair-sized burger, and maybe share a side with someone special. The smashed patty(s) come with the usual accoutrements, including a 'special sauce' that makes the smash a smash. Secret of the pros: get two patties, because it's worth the extra $3 and it's sensational. If there is any knock, then it might be the speed of service. Having stopped in several times, I don't think I have ever had the kind of turnaround that I can get many other places. But the food often makes it worth the wait, so I can only knock it for one star. Pricing is fair and certainly on the level with the area, parking is shared with other spots along the strip, and the atmosphere is wonderful. There are a TON of TVs in all directions, and you can even sit on the patio in nicer weather. It's a neighborhood spot with great food, great atmosphere, and great specials. Get there.
