My GE washer, less than a year old and still under the manufacturer's warranty, developed a major leak. Called GE Appliance and Service phone number at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). I was scheduled for an appointment through Bodewell, a company that manages and handles the service repair requests for GE (phone 833 426339355, yes it was a long phone number). Bodewell in turn, scheduled an appointment time with Topline Appliance Service (571 505 5580). I am not going to go into the details, but one should know that they are dealing with 3 levels of "paperwork, authorizations, and communications." Be sure that you know your CASE NUMBER if you run into any issues. GE will want this information. I am not going to sugar coat the process, it took from January 27th, when I first called in my repair to February 17th to finally get my washer repaired. There were many phone calls in between. There definitely is a communication issue, however, the good news is that Topline Appliance Service did an excellent job with the repair. Fahim, Jawid, and there was a third technician whose name I didn't get, did an outstanding job with servicing my washer. They even pointed out to me that the original installer of my new washer mixed up the hot and cold hoses. They adjusted the hoses for a nominal fee. My suggestion to anyone going through this process is to be proactive with your communications with these 3 companies. Re-confirm appointments ahead of time to be sure that there are no last minute changes, to also keep a log of all phone calls and to be proactive, do not wait for them to call you. I give Topline Appliance 5 stars for the great job their technicians did, but only 1 star for the three companies involved in the process. Update since I posted this review. GE customer support just sent me an email dated 17 Feb 2026 at 544 pm to follow up to see if the issue was resolved. I work for an appliance distribution company and regularly arrange service for my clients. GE rebranded GE Factory Service to Bodewell in 2024 in an attempt to distance their brand from their service arm before making sweeping cuts and bringing on more cost-effective third-party service partners. Topline is one of those third-parties. They advertise themselves as fast, efficient service, but the trade off for speed is that you get stuck with this dishonest, cheap as dirt company that does not communicate with you, your salesperson, or GE. You may be excited to find that they have next day appointments available in your area. Understand that this is a diagnostic appointment. They will submit for payment from GE for the visit and will do absolutely nothing to facilitate ordering of replacement parts/appliances. Additionally they will lie to you about what's wrong with your appliances and will lie about when or if they submit documents/findings to GE. Lastly, they will not answer their phone or respond to emails. Do not under any circumstances allow GE to route your Bodewell service through this joke of a company. read more

Topline Appliance did an awesome job fixing my refrigerator. Jawid called and said he was on his way arrived when scheduled. Very professional, had to replace compressor work was very clean and took provide in his work. Did a final check of the fridge and freezer was cooling properly. The technicians at TopLine are good and know what they're doing. The gas was the issue, but the only complaint I have is that the front office people at TopLine didn't communicate the fact the parts were on backorder. Great technicians, the front office needs to communicate better. read more

This place is ran by idiots. Had to use them per GE warranty. Guy came out. Said my new washer had a broken balancer. Would order one and be back within 4-5 days. Never heard back!! Call back and girl says she never ordered it bc my washer was 100 years old!!!! What??? It's 6 months old!!!!! Talked to manager Jay who promised to be here by Thursday! Avoid this company at all costs. I had a service call to have someone assess whether my oven can be repaired or needs replacing. It has a warped door and that does not close all the way, allowing tons of heat to escape. Probably relatedly, it does not maintain the set temperature, so my food does not cook. Topline Appliances came out today, and it was truly disgraceful. The technician just kept making things up and lying to my face. For example, he said that the oven door is supposed to be warped. He said that the oven locks when in use. He said that you're supposed to let a frozen pizza thaw for 4 hours before baking it, and after that you need to bake it twice (???). He also did not use a thermocouple, although he had one with him. When I asked him why he was not using a thermocouple, he just ignored me. THE LASER POINTER THERMOMETERS DO NOT WORK, AND EVERYONE KNOWS THIS! Instead, he preheated it to 350, then took ten different measurements ranging from 200 to 430 degrees until he hit a spot that registered near 350, then showed it to me and said "see, it's fine." TLDR: They dont communicate AT ALL. They send people out without coordination and then have no record of issues found or parts ordered. They do not answer the phone for you or even your warranty provider. Do Not Willingly Use this company. Details: Fridge stopped cooling so I called warranty providers and was assigned Top Line as my servicer on 7/1/20204. TL were supposed to call to schedule but never did. I then got a random call from a tech "20 minutes from my house" when I was not home. I asked if I could set a time when I could plan to be home, and he just said someone would call me back (they didn't). I got another random call at 7PM from someone "20 minutes from my house". I said yes come over and he took fridge apart. Tech said he would order parts and I would get a call to reschedule. Weeks go by. I finally call my warranty provider, and even they cant reach topline (note this was during business hours). When I do finally get someone at TopLine on the phone days later, they have no record that the tehnichian has visited, or that parts are on order. i had an appointment with topline for 12.19.23. they said the technician would be at my home between 9am-12pm. at around 11:39am i called to find out where the technician was but there was no answer at the number that texted me that was used to initially contact me. i left a voice mail. i then called a bit after noon and a woman answered (didn't get her name) but i asked where the technician was because he was late. she put me on a brief hold (she said she was reaching out to technician). she came back and told me that the technician was running late and now my service time was between 1-3p... no apology or anything. i said i understand he may be running behind but i had to call you guys to find this out and no one called me. she then yelled at me and stated that i can call my warranty company and have them find me another service provider and hung up.... like what the entire hell???? rude read more
