They were able to get a tech out to me next day and were very helpful and professional with gas dryer installation.

The team scheduled me for the very next day, then called soon after that say they were available the same day. The fees were explained to me at time of booking, and again on arrival. Turned out I needed a replacement part for an old Maytag gas stove/range. It was discontinued but they were able to get a refurbished part within 5 calendar days. Very pleased! I was told they also do refrigerators and dishwashers. I would trust them with all these kitchen appliances. read more

When our eleven year old LG Inverter Clothes Washer suddenly stopped working, I called LG customer service #800-243-0000 for technical support and told them what I had done to diagnose the unsolved problem. The advisor told me that it was time for me to arrange a visit by an appliance repair service. After providing our home address, I was given contact information for *the* top rated LG authorized repair service in the metro DC area. I am very pleased to write this review on behalf of Mr. Atta Hadi owner Appliance Care, LLC 2905 Preston Ave Alexandria, Va 22306-1728 #301-979-5049 https://dmvappliancecare.com/ Mr. Hadi and his staff at Appliance Care, LLC have lived up to their reputation and their many positive reviews. My original phone message, on a Saturday, was responded to very quickly, I was informed what the service call & diagnostic fee would be, and less than two hours later, after coming to our home to examine our washer, Mr. Hadi explained what the problem was, the replacement part needed (new control board), and what the total cost (part + labor) would be if I wished to go forward, which I did. Four days later, Mr. Hadi arrived with his staff, installed the new part and restored 100% clothes washer service. For me, 78 years old, the Appliance Care, LLC business is a rarity for many reasons: They respond quickly to msgs They call prior to arrival They are upfront and truthful regarding total diagnostic and repair fees They respect people & property They clean up well It will be my pleasure to provide anyone in need of the services provided by this company, my highest of ratings. Atta Hadi is a master and, as always, he performed our repair with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Hadi has performed several repairs in the past on our LG refrigerator and Galanz stand alone freezer. Today he replaced the blower cover on the downdraft fan built into our Jenn-Air range. Charges for each service were very reasonable. We highly recommend having Hadi repair your appliances as it seems there's nothing he can't handle. I reached out to him in advance to ask if he would be able to perform the service. I sent him the installation manual and told him what needed to be replaced. Luckily, we knew what the problem was this time, but he found the issues with our previous repairs in short order. He also usually had the necessary parts to complete the repair in one visit. In addition, he even squeezed us in the night before Thanksgiving one year and saved us from losing food in our freezer. We can't say enough in praise of Hadi. Highly recommended and will definitely call on him for any and all future service needs. Thank you again Hadi! read more

Mr. Atta Hadi from Appliance Care"fixed" my GE washer recently. The first issue was the door lock and later he stated I needed the washing machine computer. The quote was around $700 with the parts and he said that repairing the washer was probably better option than buying a new one because the new ones always had issues and I would be calling him. Trusting his word, I did. He repaired the washer, which is partially working, but now leaks a lot of water into the drum after the cycle is finished. It is also leaking water to the floor. In other words, the washer is not working properly after he worked on it and charged 700.00 The sad part in this is that I asked (after approving the repair) if he provided any guarantees in his work and he said NO. He stated if I wanted a guarantee I would have to pay more. So there it is... He may know how to fix them but there are no real guarantees that he will come back to fix any issues. Also, I keep thinking that this treatment was because I'm a woman and he saw me as a fool. I think all repairs should come with a 30day guarantee at last. My issue happened within two weeks and aggravated to leaking on the floor. So I decided to write now about it. Please reconsider and go with a company that can provide guarantees. I now have to buy a new washer. E. Martinez read more

The owner reached out to me and apologized for the lack of resolution. He also refunded me back the money and told me he would personally take care of any problems in the future. I would definitely give Home Appliance Care another chance if I have any more issues with my appliances. read more

I saw a lot of reviews that mostly positive so figured it was safe to use them. Contact with the company was great. Technicians arrived (two of them) seemed polite at first. Assessed the fridge and told me compressor is failing which I assumed might be the case. First issue, they give me price to replace it $1600+ (don't remember exact but sure it was closer to 1700) . My problem there is the compressor is $470 directly (I suspect they get it cheaper) from LG so that means they are charging labor and freon is $1200-1300 for a few hours? Did offer $600 less if we had proof of purchase which I assume covers the cost of the compressor from warranty. Finally, I think it was annoyed we didn't want to be ripped off so asked for the $100 fee which I agreed to pay upfront and blurted out "give me my money". We have not been rude this entire time but I was about to through him out of the house at this moment and tell him I'll call the company. I do not hold any ill feelings but lack of professionalism is hard to deal with. read more

My experience with Zafar at Home Appliance Care was fantastic! His recommendations were honest and in the best interest of my family, rather than in the interest of making the most profit, which meant the world to me. I called Home Appliance Care when another technician, sent from my home warranty company, put in minimal effort and was unable to find a gas leak on my stove. Zafar took the time to search out the small gas leak - taking apart the stove part-by-part to find the issue. He spent over an hour on my stove and was so kind to work with. I would 100% would recommend Zafar and Home Appliance Care. read more

My LG refrigerator/freezer broke down and Atta H. initially said the part (compressor) needs to be ordered and gave me a rough estimate of up to a week and a half. But low and behold, he calls me back a few days later saying he received the part from LG and he was available that same afternoon to do the replacement. Sure enough, about 20 mins later Atta shows up my front door very professional with all his equipment. It took him about an hour to complete the job. Atta was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. He replaced the compressor and I was back in business. Thanks Atta! read more

We had been experiencing issues dispensing ice with our relatively new freezer. Appliance Care was assigned our ticket and I'm really glad that they were. Hadi was very friendly and flexible with our schedule. They came in and quickly identified the root cause and in minutes our ice dispensing issue was fixed! He also noticed the fridge and freezer doors weren't leveled so he offered to get them leveled without us asking first. We really appreciated his customer service and would gladly reach out to them again for future appliance services! read more

LG Refrigerator compressor died (for 2nd time in 11 years), and needed quick service to prevent all food from spoiling. Called H.A.C., after first company said it couldn't get to me until the following day, though it claimed compressor was under warranty. Hadi and his assistant arrived in the afternoon and told me that compressor wasn't under warranty because the refrigerator was more than 10 years old. We called LG and confirmed--so I got an estimate that was about the same as the first company, but included replacement parts. The repair is complex, taking several hours, much associated with ensuring the new system had charged properly. Work was very professionally done and everything was left in great shape even though moving the 35" side super deep refrigerator in a small townhouse kitchen was quite an effort. Hadi also made other adjustments to the door and examined other issues as a courtesy. Could not have asked for better service. read more

I had a technician from another company come out to fix my refrigerator and they said I needed a new evap fan, but weren't 100% sure. Even then, they said we should replace anyway and see from there. That wasn't good enough for me so I reached out to Hadi who was super quick to respond and came to my house within hours. He said the fan was fine and correctly diagnosed the root issue, saving me money and time! I highly recommend him. He's a straight shooter, won't waste your time. read more

Hadi was able to come out two days earlier than my scheduled appointment, diagnose the issue with our LG washing machine and had it repaired in about 20 minutes. It was clearly evident that Hadi knows the ins and outs of the LG product line as he ran it through various cycles that a previous company did not. I will definitely be calling Hadi again for any future appliance repair needs. read more

Hadi and his assistant came out and fixed my dryer. He had all the parts he needed (heating element and thermostat) with him. Dryer has worked perfectly since. He honored his original price estimate. All good. I usually have iffy (at best) experiences with appliance repairmen. Hadi seems like a very honest, knowledgable and professional businessman. read more

Atta arrived on time and fully prepared to repair our warrantied refrigerator. That seems so rare now. Everything about the experience was stress-free ...considering how many days we had built-up stress waiting for LG to get us nowhere from a contact in Suitland. Many thanks Atta! A real professional that checked the entire fridge and told us what to expect. Atta is our go-to from now on! read more

Wonderful service, very professional. Hadi assessed the problem with our refrigerator quickly and ordered the necessary parts. He returned 2 days later with the needed parts and fixed it in about 25 minutes. He was mindful to clean up after his work and respectful of our home. read more

I have now found my go-to guy for repairs. My LG fridge stopped cooling, and LG assigned Hadi to me to service the fridge under warranty. He assessed the problem correctly, and the fridge was up and running within the day. He clearly cares about the service he is providing to his customer - courteous and hard-working. read more

Thank you Yelp! I found this repair service using Yelp, it had FIVE STARS, so I gave the a try. They deserve the FIVE STARS! After initially booking a different service for my broken Kenmore Elite dishwasher, and the service never showing up, then booking online with Sears, who were going to show up in two weeks, I called Appliance Care. Mr. Hadi answered the phone himself, asked me to text a photo of the identification panel on the dishwasher (great idea) , then told me he would call me back to let me know if he could fit in just one more service call today. And he called me back! And then arrived exactly when he said he might be able to show up (Wise not to promise!). He and an assistant arrived and got straight to work, diagnosing the problems extremely efficiently. He explained my options; provided sound advice. I decided to try to salvage my favorite dishwasher ever (despite its age). He was extremely transparent with costs and options. I really appreciated that....along with being a smart, diligent service person, he actually showed up! This will now be my "go to" appliance repair service!! read more

Atta, the owner of Appliance Care, came to our house to fix the issue we were having with our brand new LG refrigerator. The ice maker had jammed up and we could no longer get ice to come out. Hadi was super attentive, quick and knowledgeable! He resolved our ice issue in less than 30 minutes and even provided us pointers on how to best maintain our appliances to help avoid future issues. He and his staff were very thoughtful after completing the work and left everything just as it was before they arrived. We will definitely use this company again if anything else occurs! Thanks again, Atta! read more

I don't know why the other reviews on Appliance Care don't show up (only 1 does until you scroll down and click "Show others"), but I read the one that was posted and that was good enough for me, since I was in a bit of an "emergency" with the LG refrigerator dying on me. I called 3 places and Mr. Hadi was the one that could do a same day visit. Gave him my info and when he came over, sure enough, it was a bad compressor (LG is infamous for their poorly designed Linear Compressors). Luckily he had one in his van and was able to change it out for me. So, the freezer ended up working, but the Fridge part still did not work. One call to Mr. Hadi and he was able to come back out again to work on this. Then it still wasn't working and I was afraid that maybe the fridge was doomed. Another call and Mr. Hadi was back out again. This time, he took apart the fridge and found the problem (a clogged line not letting freon through). Fixed this and one week later now, fridge is still running great! What I appreciated the most was the fact that Mr. Hadi said to me, "I'm not giving up" on trying to figure out the problem. I've read many reviews that many technicians don't even want to deal with LG repairs, because they are hard to diagnose at times, but not Mr. Hadi. Kudos to him....hopefully the fridge lasts long, but if not, I will definitely trust Mr. Hadi to get it working right again. Hopefully my review posts, because people should know more about a good technician where possible. I don't post normally, but only when I have a great experience overall. read more

LG emailed me a list of six service providers to repair my washer. Appliance Care LLC had the best overall reviews, and for good reason. Within 24 hours, my washer was fixed and another appliance issue was resolved, both at a very reasonable and fair price. I am quite pleased with the service and results and would absolutely call on Appliance Care again. read more

After 6 weeks of frustration with LG, Atta was able to come out early morning on the next day to do a warranteed fridge compressor replacement. He did a complete diagnosis that additionally revealed a faulty evaporator rather than just coming in and slapping in a new compressor. He had all the needed parts on his truck and completed the work in 2hrs. Great customer service and he's great a nice, friendly and courteous guy. He'll be my new Go-to guy for appliance work and someone I'd definitely recommend to others. read more

Atta Hadi has come to my home several times for dishwasher repair (he had to order a part so it took an extra visit). He came out once again, without charging me, to help me with another appliance. He's usually very responsive, sometimes he's a little late. He came out to repair my washing machine yesterday, though it took several phone calls for him to squeeze me in. Bottom line, he's so busy you may have to wait a couple days, but it's worth the wait. read more
