Update to my previous review: I was contacted by the business and was told that the reason for their lack of communication was due to being a victim of a cyberattack. As I had no other way to verify this, I took them at their word and accepted their explanation. For full transparency, however, it is worth noting that this communication came less than 24 hours after I had posted my initial review. The repair technician arrived at my home the same day, and spent approximately 90 minutes going back over the previous repair work and going much more in-depth in this second go-round. After completing the work, he explained what he did, what he found, and then ran a cycle through my dishwasher. The next day, I ran another cycle, and the leaking issue had been fixed. As I am someone who does believe in giving people and businesses second chances and opportunities, and because I have seen them perform excellent and professional work before (see my original review), I am likely to give them my business at least once more to see that this experience is an outlier and not their typical course of business. read more

Good service, but the process felt impersonal and the tipping prompt was off-putting I recently used Andy Duck Repair and overall I appreciate the service they offer. I'm giving it a bit of time to make sure the repair holds, but so far things seem fine. That said, I do have two concerns: Everything was done via text. The booking, estimate, and payment were all handled by text message. While that's certainly convenient, it also made the whole experience feel a bit impersonal. I'm not old, but I still value some human contact and connection with the company I'm hiring. The tipping prompt felt inappropriate. When I went to pay the invoice, there was an option to add a tip for the repair tech on top of the quoted price. I really dislike this practice. Restaurant servers depend on tips as part of their income; repair technicians should be paid an adequate salary by the company, without the customer being nudged to subsidize their pay. In short, I appreciate that Andy Duck Repair addressed the issue, but I hope they'll reconsider how they handle customer interaction and tipping in the future. read more

We contacted Andy Duck to clean our washing machine, based on positive reviews. The dispatcher quoted a price of $250, and we agreed. However, after the service was completed, the quality turned out to be disappointing -- the door gasket was still dirty. We tried to reach the company several times but received no response for a long time. Eventually, we were told that this issue was not covered by their warranty since the general service is not guaranteed. We recommend being cautious and avoiding this company's services. read more

My technician Kevin was very professional. I needed a door hinge replacement for my dishwasher. He was quick and efficient.

I needed them to diagnose the problem with my oven. They communicated well. When scheduling, they offered a time, but I was slow getting back to them so the time slot was gone. They got back to me about a new time slot in a reasonable about of time. The tech called when he was on his way. He was polite and also pretty quick. He told me what the problem was and that the office would send me a quote. Now that I knew the problem, I figured I could repair it myself. He diagnosed the correct remedy. I got the part and replaced it. Now I have a working oven. Their diagnostic fee was less than many others. I felt the quote for the repair itself was a little high, but I don't have another quote to compare it to. read more

This company is the worst appliance repair company I have ever used. Kevin the Service Technician doesn't seem to know what he is doing. Every time he comes to repair previous damage he damages something else. I scheduled an appointment to determine why my oven would not heat up. Technician came, replaced the oven temperature sensor. That did not fix the problem. In attempting to replace the part Kevin damaged the stove top - scratches and chips in the enamel surface, and broken ignitor and burners. To repair the scratches and chips they said they would paint the stove top. Kevin sprayed the stove top. The first time I used the burners, the paint burned and turned brown. Fast response, extremely kind and friendly, and easy to work with. I called them because my washer kept filling up with water randomly, one time it was so bad my floor flooded it was terrifying! They ordered and replaced parts and also cleaned my dryer and the vent thingy and replaced this tube behind it at no charge. They also educated me on the dangers of not cleaning it, and offered to write a letter for me to send to my building to get them to clean the parts they cant reach. I own my condo so I get confused on what's my responsibility and what's my buildings, and they filled me with confidence as a new homeowner, I would HIGHLY recommend. read more

Fast friendly service call, but $75 for 5 minute visit to tell me that needs a new latch, then find out that's $500 to fix. I knew the latch wasn't fixable, and had sent pictures and model number in advance, so would have appreciated a heads up that this problem for this model dishwasher was unlikely to be fixable at a reasonable price. read more

Andrew was amazing in all respects. My oven igniter went bad and the "bake" setting kept failing. I didn't know this was the issue beforehand. I only knew that the oven wouldn't heat up and I was burning food using the broil setting. Anyhow, he was prompt and super responsive. He assessed my issue quickly and accurately. On Sat. 08/30/25 I called to schedule an appointment to have our refrigerator assessed for why it was not cooling. An appointment was set for Wed., 09/03/25. I called on Tuesday to confirm the appointment and was informed there was no appointment in my name. Peculiar. I agreed to have an appointment on Fri. 09/05/25. The technician arrived during promised time window. He assessed the problem and informed me they would contact me the next day with parts and labor estimate for the repair. They did keep that commitment. To repair the backup frig would cost Around $600. When I said I would just buy a new one, I was told they could discount the labor 20% if I went ahead with the repair. Not sure why they didn't offer their best price from the start. We ended up buying a new, basic frig for $1K. read more

Outstanding - Quickly Diagnosed my Samsung Electric Clothes Dryer Failure - Ordered Needed Parts and Repaired Perfectly! I give AndyDuck Appliance Solutions my highest recommendation. So very happy I called AndyDuck. I am a self-proclaimed snob. I usually hire manufacturer service companies to repair my appliances or high end, well known larger companies. When our Samsung Electric Clothes Dryer stopped working, I tried to reach Samsung Factory Service, but could not reach them easily and they did not have a local service company number. I did not have a good feeling about reaching their factory service so I spend a lot of time to researching other companies and found AndyDuck recommended by NextDoor and Yelp, All the reviews were excellent without any negatives. I decided to take a chance and called AndyDuck and so happy I did. AndyDuck arrived the day after calling. Andy looked at our clothes dryer, turned some knobs, rotated the blades, thought for a few seconds, opened up the top of the unit, reached in and pulled out a broken rubber drive belt.
