Had a great experience with BrightCrest!…read more My mom's fridge was acting up and she needed for someone to come out same day to help us evaluate. After getting a number of messages and calls from other providers, I went with Jacob at BrightCrest. His message he sent was very up front with all the information on his side that was helpful for me - the initial service fee, website and phone number to reach him all laid out tranparently. When I called, her picked up right away and told us he could be there later that day. He arrived within the window of time he told us, got to work immediately and was quick to identify the problem. He then let us know he would need to order two parts and made sure to show us the cost of each before ordering them. We really appreciated the transparency! The parts arrived the next day and he was able to come back out the morning after that to fix the fridge. Jacob seems to be a man of his word and we were very happy with his service!

Update to my previous review: I was contacted by the business and was told that the reason for…read moretheir lack of communication was due to being a victim of a cyberattack. As I had no other way to verify this, I took them at their word and accepted their explanation. For full transparency, however, it is worth noting that this communication came less than 24 hours after I had posted my initial review. The repair technician arrived at my home the same day, and spent approximately 90 minutes going back over the previous repair work and going much more in-depth in this second go-round. After completing the work, he explained what he did, what he found, and then ran a cycle through my dishwasher. The next day, I ran another cycle, and the leaking issue had been fixed. As I am someone who does believe in giving people and businesses second chances and opportunities, and because I have seen them perform excellent and professional work before (see my original review), I am likely to give them my business at least once more to see that this experience is an outlier and not their typical course of business.

From start to finish, the service was exceptional. The company did a terrific job communicating with us by text, and the technicians arrived exactly when they said they would. They were pleasant, polite, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. What we especially appreciated was the time they took to show us exactly what was wrong with each appliance and explain the appropriate repair. We never felt pressured into unnecessary work. Their recommendations were practical and straightforward, and the final cost was extremely reasonable. We appreciated their fair pricing every bit as much as their skill and expertise. It is such a relief to know that if another appliance needs attention, we now have a capable, trustworthy, and reputable company to call. Rapid Fix has absolutely earned our future business. Five stars and our highest recommendation!
