As I had no other way to verify this, I took them at their word and accepted their explanation. For full transparency, however, it is worth noting that this communication came less than 24 hours after I had posted my initial review. The repair technician arrived at my home the same day, and spent approximately 90 minutes going back over the previous repair work and going much more in-depth in this second go-round. After completing the work, he explained what he did, what he found, and then ran a cycle through my dishwasher. The next day, I ran another cycle, and the leaking issue had been fixed. As I am someone who does believe in giving people and businesses second chances and opportunities, and because I have seen them perform excellent and professional work before (see my original review), I am likely to give them my business at least once more to see that this experience is an outlier and not their typical course of business.

I have called Mark W twice over the last couple of years for issues with appliances. This is a…read moregentleman who loves his craft. Both times, he has called me back quickly (most recently on a Saturday). And both times he walked me through steps that might solve my problems - at no charge. He also told me that my 8+ year old dishwasher was sufficiently old that a major repair was not worth it and better to replace. In other words, Mark seems like the kind of man who is not just out to make a buck off of unsuspecting customers who don't really know what their appliance issue is. I can understand some of the comments about his demeanor. He is direct and sometimes brusque. But if you can get past that and don't expect a lot of smooth talking, you will probably save yourself some money and end up with a repaired appliance at a reasonable cost.

His message he sent was very up front with all the information on his side that was helpful for me - the initial service fee, website and phone number to reach him all laid out tranparently.When I called, her picked up right away and told us he could be there later that day. He arrived within the window of time he told us, got to work immediately and was quick to identify the problem. He then let us know he would need to order two parts and made sure to show us the cost of each before ordering them. We really appreciated the transparency! He refused to provide a written estimate of parts and launched a confusing explanation where he constantly changed numbers. He would not provide the part numbers he required and he used part names that I could not find on the Bosch website. He left the dishwasher disassembled and disconnected from the kitchen sink drain. When I was finally able to identify the parts to which he referred, I found their costs about half what he stated. I am unable to use the sink and the disposal as the water drains onto the floor.
