I have now used Sanchez Appliance Repair three times: To fix a leaking refrigerator water line; to clean/repair a dryer vent; and to replace a failed drain pump in our washing machine. In each instance, Mr. Sanchez was able to schedule an appointment within a day or two and successfully complete the repair within a single visit, all at a very fair price. I can't recommend Modesto /Sanchez highly enough. He returned my call promptly, listened to my description of the problem with my dishwasher door, and set an appointment 2 days later at a mutually convenient time. He is very pleasant and communicative. Before fixing the actual problem, which was relatively simple, he took apart the filter and cleaned out 10 years of accumulated gunk, broken glass, and eggshells. He pulled the dishwasher all the way out and cleaned the area out thoroughly. (We had had a mouse infestation. Yuck!) He was here at least 2 hours altogether. The final bill was about $300 including tax, which I thought was quite reasonable. I will use him for any other appliance issues. read more

Modesto identified why our washing machine stopped working, ordered the necessary replacement part, and had the machine working again within the same week. Mr. Sanchez was very professional and knew exactly what to do. After diagnosing the problem he found that it was a simple fix. Fair price for dishwasher repair - showed me how to fix problem for the next time. Will call again!

Incredible service. Our refrigerator/freezer was making a wheezing and morning noise as it was about to die on us. Mr. Sanchez called back and stopped by within a couple of hours because he was on a service call nearby and knows the neighborhood (Shepard park/DC). He quickly and inexpensively fixed our freezer and gave us tips on how to keep it running. I will absolutely be calling him for any appliance repair needs in the future. As a professional engineer I appreciate seeing a skilled technician who knows his trade very well. He has a methodical process of gathering evidence and data to pinpoint the problem with a solid empirically-based diagnosis. He used an exquisitely logical process. Great value by a pro. read more

Modesto went above and beyond to figure out the problem with our dryer, which was constantly turning off and giving us error codes. We've had issues with this since last year and have spent a lot of money with multiple businesses, none that were able to do what he did. Check out what he took out of our duct system (after we previously paid another business to specifically clean our duct). He is extremely honest, knowledgeable and reliable. Highly recommend for any of your appliance needs! read more

VERY honest person. I picked this company for a washer with a burning smell. Modesto took it apart and after taking his time found no actual problem. My tenant was just overloading the machine. Modesto was very honest about this. Then I had him look at my ice maker which he was going to repair for me. But after realizing my fridge was still under warranty, Modesto advised me to contact the manufacturer so that I would not have to pay out of pocket...even though this meant he himself wouldn't get paid for the repair. I was so impressed with his honesty. And I have already called him for another job. Highly recommend!! read more
