The original service call was expensive at $279, but they did tell me this in advance and they did come very quickly. So I think that is the trade-off here is that they are definitely not the cheapest but they do come fast as their name implies. Unfortunately, it took a total of three trips to fix this issue with the refrigerator. And with some delays in scheduling and schedule changes, but those were minor. And all I had to pay in addition to the original service charge was for the parts so that was fair. All in all ads say this place is OK expensive but worth it if you need a really fast repair but that assumed it's diagnosed and repaired the first time After they saw this review, I received multiple phone calls and text messages which you can say is trying to rectify the issue But there's nothing to rectify. Complaint Regarding Rapid Fix LLC - $671 Paid for a Repair That Remains Unresolved I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Rapid Fix LLC regarding the repair of my refrigerator and ice maker. I paid $671 for this repair, yet the original problem remains unresolved. The most frustrating part of this experience has been that each time the technician came to my home, there was a quick diagnosis followed by a repair that did not actually resolve the problem. The first time, I was told that the issue was related to a temperature problem with the refrigerator's cooling system. The company subsequently came out and replaced the component they identified as the problem. Unfortunately, the issue continued. The second time, I was told that the problem was related to the rubber gasket/seal around the refrigerator door. I was told that the door was not sealing properly and that this was allowing air to escape. The company came back and replaced that as well. Again, the problem remained. The third time, the technician identified yet another issue involving the ice maker/ice dispenser. I explained that the ice maker does, in fact, produce ice and that there is ice in the bin. The problem is that the ice does not properly dispense from the ice compartment/dispenser. This is the issue that remains unresolved to this day. Throughout this process, I have been patient and cooperative. I have made myself available for multiple service visits and repeatedly communicated with the company in an effort to get the problem resolved. I was repeatedly told that the company understood the frustration and that they wanted to make things right. I was even told that the technician would return to fully inspect the refrigerator and ice maker and that if the ice maker needed to be replaced, they would take care of it. Despite those assurances, the problem has never been resolved. And now, after all of these visits, repairs, explanations, and promises, Rapid Fix LLC has stopped responding to my messages altogether. That is particularly disappointing considering that I have already paid $671 for a repair that has not actually fixed the problem. I hired a professional appliance repair company because I expected them to properly diagnose the problem and repair it. Instead, I have experienced a series of brief diagnoses, multiple repairs that did not solve the underlying issue, repeated assurances that the matter would be taken care of, and ultimately no resolution and no response. I don't believe it is reasonable to charge a customer $671, perform multiple repairs, fail to resolve the original problem, and then stop communicating with the customer. At this point, I am not looking for another apology or another temporary fix. I want the problem properly resolved, or I want to be fairly compensated for paying $671 for a repair that remains unresolved. I would strongly caution anyone considering using Rapid Fix LLC to carefully consider my experience. A repair is not successful simply because a technician comes to your home, performs a diagnosis, and replaces a component. The appliance needs to actually work when the job is finished. I requested a plumber to repair a clogged garbage disposal and dishwasher apparently on the same line. Rapid Fix Service reserved time, but did not send a plumber. The person who came said a plumber would schedule with me, but I later received a message saying a plumber was not available. Because I reserved with this company, I did not respond to other companies who had said they had available plumbers yesterday. Horrible company! He identified the problem which was Freezer fan was not working . since he didn't have the right replacement size fan he put a temporary unit so our fridge started working while he ordered the right unit . I was in quite a bind with another washing machine repair company that stopped responding to me after I paid for parts in advance. The repair was critical as I am leaving on a trip in two days. After I spoke with Rapid Fix, the original company called me back and committed to arriving within a hour to complete the repair. Since I already paid for the parts, I opted to use the original company but Rapid Fix went over and beyond for me. They called me twice with alternate solutions and checked their stock room to ensure that they had the part that the prior technician flagged as needed to avoid having to order the part (assuming that was the original diagnosis was accurate) which would have likely arrived after I left for my trip. While it didnt work out to hire them this time, I was very impressed with their customer service support and will definetely be using them in the future. Our GE refrigerator stopped cooling on a Sunday, and we needed repair quickly to save a large amount of both refrigerated and frozen food. Rapid Fix Service responded to our request immediately and scheduled a service professional to come to our residence the same day. Kamal showed up on time and identified the problem (broken cooling fan) in short order. The required replacement part was not immediately available, but Kamal told us he would order the part and try to have it in hand as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the part was not available until Tuesday, but once Kamal acquired it, he returned that day to complete the repair. The unit is now functioning like new once again. The Technican did an excellent job with replacing the shock absorbers on our Samsung washer. We had the wrong parts but he had the right one with him and was able to fix it and saved us a lot of time and money. Faheem arrived within the given time window, was polite and respectful, and very knowledgeable. He worked efficiently and finished the job thoroughly.
