After getting a number of messages and calls from other providers, I went with Jacob at BrightCrest. His message he sent was very up front with all the information on his side that was helpful for me - the initial service fee, website and phone number to reach him all laid out tranparently.When I called, her picked up right away and told us he could be there later that day. He arrived within the window of time he told us, got to work immediately and was quick to identify the problem. He then let us know he would need to order two parts and made sure to show us the cost of each before ordering them. We really appreciated the transparency! I used the Yelp search tool to find BrightCrest as my gas dryer started smelling like gas when operated. They promptly responded to my request, and I had a technician at my house within a day. They fixed my dryer. A technician even came to my house on a Sunday to follow up on the service call. They are courteous, and their labor costs are very reasonable. The rating will not change. 7 hours after missing the appointment they reached out stating they were in an accident and asked if they could reschedule. We had to ask why they did not respond to our texts and then stated they lost access to their phone. They requested I take down my one star review. They did not care I lost a day of work, had to find someone else because they were not responding, and still have a broken clothes washer. Every day since they have requested I take down the review and demanded I acknowledge they did finally call. Here is the acknowledgement that when the service and communications are non existent they will badger you take down a negative review. I will never do business with a company who is not focused on me as a customer. They could have explained what happened but chose to make demands. They came out and assessed and determined I needed a new part. The only reason this is a 4 instead of 5, is because I had to check in a few times for an update on the part delivery, as they were not proactively communicating.
