The dishwasher ended up having a loose connection that was tightened but was a little moreccomplicated due to how the dishwasher was recessed (was previously replaced 2 years prior so it's not too difficult). The whole repair probably took a little over an hour and I expected to pay close to what the others quoted but to my surprise he was charging us a premium. When I questioned the price the gentleman stated he made a mistake and he quoted me the price he would of charged if he went out to source a part. Last I checked he never left the kitchen..? This kind of shady practice is why a lot of us consumers are weary and ask for up front pricing. I still ended up paying more than I would of but it was simply to end the contract. Did you also forget that was the same conversation where you took the liberty to schedule 10am despite the fact that I clearly stated "anytime AFTER 12pm" forcing me to care for my child while balancing this repair. Please dont claim you are innocent because I have the receipts to prove my claim. What an awful way to do business.
