Service was great but the food and drinks were a throwback to 90s-era bar food -- they clearly cater to a younger audience that isn't mindful of how they get their calories. Everything was big and either fried or cheesy or saucy or all three. The Mediterranean platter had red pepper hummus, babaganoush, and tzatziki but none were tasty. We had the pretzel bites which were decent, very saucy chicken wings which were sticky and hard to eat while golfing, and a cheese flatbread. Everything was more expensive than it should have been considering how much we shelled out for golf. The drink menu looked promising but the cocktails were overly sweet and barely had alcohol in them. The golf itself was a lot of fun - the games were easy and fun. To their credit the server that brought it out saw it and told me the kitchen made a mistake before I had to tell them myself or before I took a bite. Very bad experience. I had a bachelors party and we had put at a 2 hour bay. One hour in, 3 people in red shirts came up and said the bay was reserved one hour in and told us to leave the bay. There were 6 bays next to us that were open. They said it was this specific bay and the ones that were empty were reserved. So we were forced to leave 1 hour early. They took off the other hour off our bill however we had a party of 8 and 1 hour is not enough. We originally had 2 hours on our bay. 1 star. Manager Kinsey made what should have been a fun first Topgolf experience for my parents extremely disappointing. Despite making a reservation, we were placed on the very edge in the worst spot on the bottom floor while many better bays remained empty the entire time, supposedly reserved for guests who never arrived. When we asked to switch, staff refused and were dismissive throughout the visit, and Kinsey was completely unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate us at all. After reading other Yelp reviews, it seems this is a common issue with reservations and customer service. We have had fantastic times in the past at Topgolf. This time was not as great. I wish it could be more consistent. It was lunchtime on Sunday. We looked at the Topgolf App and it said that there was NO WAIT on the App. So we thought, great, let's get over there and order some lunch. But when we got in, the check in desk said no, that there was an hour wait, and that we were on the bottom of the waiting list. So far down at the bottom, that there was a first person couldn't find our request and a second person had to confirm our place on the wait list. So we're hungry and looking at an hour wait, so we decided to leave and get food down the street. About 10 minutes later, we got a text saying that there was a table available. Then our request was canceled immediately afterwards. We had to get back on the wait list. The app said 30 minutes at that point so we get back on the list, and ended up waiting about an hour. This is now two hours past the first time we put our name on the wait list. I don't mind waiting, but please get your staff and app times to coordinate their estimates a little better. We just brought six kids here, ranging from ages 8-12 years old and we had an absolute blast to celebrate a birthday. The daytime parking on a Saturday was outstanding. The bay we reserved for two hours had ample space for all these boys plus two adults. They loved the various games. They've got clubs onsite for adults, kids, right or left. I finally let my kids talk me into going to Topgolf with them, we went on a Wednesday and took advantage of half off golf. . My sons play golf and I've always been a little hesitant because, honestly, I was worried I'd be the worst one there. Even though I don't play golf, it was actually really fun and not nearly as intimidating as I thought. They have all these different game modes you can pick from, and even my youngest, who's 7, was able to join in and have a blast learning how to swing and hit the ball. It was surprisingly satisfying once I got the hang of it! We also had a super friendly server who really made the experience great. He was cracking jokes, checking in to make sure we had enough drinks and food, and was just super accommodating overall. We tried a bunch of different food items, and it was a bit of a mix. The cheesy macaroni bites were a hit, they came with ranch and a creamy tomato sauce, and they were super flavorful and cheesy. We loved those. On the other hand, the "Nacho Average Nachos" were kind of a letdown for us. They were more like tostadas with beans, and honestly, none of us really liked them, kind of bland and not our favorite. We saw good reviews on them, but they just didn't do it for us. We also got the Wing Trio (boneless, so we could use forks easily), and those were really good. We had Asian sesame, lemon pepper, and barbecue flavors, and all three were tasty. Another standout was the hot honey pepperoni pizza, it wasn't spicy at all, just delicious and a little sweet, and probably one of my favorites. We did try the chicken katsu sliders, and those were a miss for us, they were a bit too sweet and got soggy, so not really something we'd order again. But we ended on a high note with the Topgolf donut hole-in-ones. You get to inject them with chocolate or Bavarian cream, and my kids absolutely loved them. They were super fun and really delicious. All in all, it turned out to be a super fun outing for the whole family. If you're not a golfer, don't worry it's definitely a place where anyone can have fun. There's a reason this is called Top Golf and not Bottom or Mid Golf, and my experience at the El Segundo location quickly cemented this as one of the Toppiest Golf places I've been to. My party needed to reschedule our reservation and it was a smooth process. All we needed to do was walk-in and go straight to our booth upon arriving. While we experienced some technical difficulties from getting our game started, the staff was kind enough to extend our time slot for us to get our two hours in. We had pretzels for snacks and that was alright, but Jhay(?) was the top server at Top Golf El Segundo. She constantly checked up on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. So five stars for all that they did. For two hours, we played four different types of games. I won two of the four games despite this being my first visit to a Top Golf. But that's my hubris talking. Came here for an event and it was nice. We had our own section so they had the food buffet style, but they brought out fresh stuff the whole entire time. I really enjoyed the chicken mini corndogs and the chicken tenders. The service is good once we arrived and the place was clean. It wasn't too crowded yet for Sunday, but it seems like it gets crowded later on during the day like in the evening. I did enjoy myself. I have no complaints. I had a very unfortunate experience at Topgolf El Segundo on January 18 that I feel others should be aware of. During my visit, I was accidentally struck in the head by a golf club. The team lacked empathy and rushed me to leave as if I was a nuisance to them. The impact resulted in a hematoma and bruising on my forehead, nose, and shoulder. I experienced nausea afterward and had to see a doctor. I also had to take time off work, including missing an important onsite meeting with executives. I understand that accidents can happen, but what was especially disappointing was how long it took to reach a resolution. I first reported the incident shortly after it occurred on January 18, and it was not until March 31 that I received a final response that Topgolf would not be providing any compensation. As a gesture, I was offered another visit to Topgolf, including a room for 6 people for 2 hours and a food and beverage voucher. However, after sustaining a head injury at the venue, it is difficult to feel comfortable returning to a place that now feels unsafe. The situation involved medical symptoms, visible injury, and professional disruption, so the proposed resolution did not feel appropriate. I tried to handle this privately and patiently over the course of more than two months, but ultimately felt that my concerns were not meaningfully addressed. I followed up with the team just last week but they did not respond. I am sharing this experience so others can make informed decisions, and also in the hope that Topgolf will reconsider how situations like this are handled in the future. When a guest experiences a physical injury at an establishment, there should be a stronger effort to demonstrate care, accountability, and resolution. I hope Topgolf will review its safety awareness practices around swinging clubs and improve how customer injuries are handled going forward. read more

Until one day, my work decided to have their holiday party there and now I cannot stop thinking about Topgolf, can't wait to go back, and am a huge fan - it was so fun! The gamification of the course is what makes it so cool so I got Top 6 (behind a real golfer) just because I managed to steer my ball over bonus areas. I am lame. It's a bit pricey, unless you have a coupon or gift card. There are several games - you hit targets and earn point and score the most to win. They have in-house clubs and drivers. They come in 2 lengths. You have the option to bring your own clubs if you'd like. We ordered a couple of their desserts. it took awhile for them to come out - I have a feeling it's a scheme to keep you renting the lane... The food was ok. I wouldn't get it again though. There was plenty of parking and they have EV chargers on premise too. Check your bank/credit card offers to see if they have a cash back offer. All of my family was able to rendezvous here for a weekday birthday celebration. Two hours allowed us to play multiple rounds with a full rotation of people. They offer game modes that even the playing field a bit but definitely a spot to work on your shot. From a golf stand point, if you are not able to get a tee time on a course, it would not be a waste to bring your clubs or gear here to play the game here.
