Not the usually biggest fan of cake donuts but decided to try this spot for breakfast and enjoyed them! The regular glaze, cinnamon sugar, and s'mores special donut were great, freshly made right in front of you! Service was quick and prices were reasonable for how fresh it was. There is casual seating available inside or you can obviously take the donuts to go!

Great donuts and always cool to watch them make every one to order in front of your eyes

I did not physically attend this location, but I was able to try 2 of their donuts that were being served at a private party. They have a number of varieties to choose from with a few specials along the way. I had the French Toast & the Springsteen. Both donuts were on the smaller side I would say. The French toast had cinnamon sugar with a maple drizzle along with powdered sugar present. The maple drizzle was the highlight here as it was not too over powerful but provided enough flavor to make it taste like "French Toast." The Springsteen was a plain glaze with red, white, and blue sprinkles. I initially assumed this would be plain, but that was not the case at all. This was my preferred donut of the two I tried. The glaze along with abundance of sprinkles made for a sweet treat. Will I go back? I did not actually go but would head over sometime.

Was there for almost 40 minutes waiting on 3 breakfast sandwiches. The cook went on a break half way thru when we were THE ONLY CUSTOMERS IN THERE. Crazy work if u ask me. Rip never going there again wasn't even good

COVID report: Top That! has a few picnic tables outside. When I visited in late April they didn't have umbrellas; not sure if that's changed. Solid doughnut spot with an array of fun flavors. I like that the doughnuts are hot, too. My favorite was the cinnamon sugar. Coconut chocolate, chocolate and plain glaze also went over well with my group. Fun retro decor and walkable from the beach.

Fresh hot donuts that are reasonably priced. Service was quick, despite being so busy.

Love the concept of this donut shop! They have an assortment of delicious specialty donuts and give you the ability to create your own. Everything is made to order, so it doesn't get any fresher than that! We ordered the hangover, lemon drop and sinners delight. All were delicious! The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for specialty donuts and considering they are made to order. This place is definitely worth checking out to get your donut fix.

Cute little donut shop by the Jersey Shore. My friend recommended this place to me, and I'm always down to try new things. Small little shop, they have some donuts on the menu you can make your own which is pretty cool. They make the donuts fresh and you can see them make it right in front of you. Also if they make it and it's not perfect they throw it away. They want to make sure your donut is perfect. I got the French Toast, Cookies and cream and I made my own with green frosting, fruity pebbles and marshmallow. I tried the French Toast one...OMG sooo good! Moist and hot! I was gonna save the other two for later but I had to try them all cuz they were that good! You are also able to add fillings. Their most popular is apple filling. We got their close to closing time so they were out. Whenever you're in the Jersey shore area, make sure you head over here and try their amazing donuts!!

Came in on Saturday, it was cold and rainy and in the offseason so it was pretty dead in the store. They have a menu posted outside so we looked it over then decided on 4 donuts. Peanut Butter Lovin - chocolate icing, pb drizzle and peanut toppings. My girlfriend said it was good, not great, nothing very memorable. Cookies n Cream - self explanatory, it was also good, not great. Pebbles and Bam Bam - this one was pretty tasty, a vanilla iced (could pick chocolate also) with fruity pebbles topping. I liked this one because it was unique. Lemon Drop - this one was definitely the favorite. Lemon Glaze with graham cracker topping and bavarian cream. I would eat this one again for sure. Overall, it just didn't wow me.

Fresh amazing donuts with unique flavors and combos! I arrived when they opened and there was no line! I had the chocolate peanut butter, lemon, maple donuts. The lemon was my favorite! Definitely worth it!

Going to Top That is always a great experience. The staff are always super friendly and the donuts are absolutely to die for. With many different options to go with you can't go wrong having a little bit of everything. The maple bacon donut, on the other hand, is a MUST. The delicious maple glaze with bacon bits on top balanced everything perfectly. Top That capitalized on their being not many donut shops in the area outside of big commercial spots like Dunkin and Wawa. Can't beat this spot for a nice homemade weekend dozen.

Point Beach Donut (cinnamon and sugar)
    Allie I.

Friendly service and yummy donuts :) every donut is deep fried and the toppings are added right in front of you. Personally, I don't like a ton of sugary toppings so the Point Beach donut is perfect for me (cinnamon and sugar). I would definitely return here, the only downside is they have minimal parking so in the summer it can be hectic to find a spot.

We went out to eat twice while there, once for dinner and once for lunch. I will review both places using this as my intro to the reviews. For lunch on August 5, 2026 we ate at Charlie's of Bay Head. We were 4 adults and a toddler. I was surprised the ratings I saw were basically average, in the high 3's. That was not our experience. Considering my daughter had tried unsuccessfully to book a dinner reservation, which she said was true for their entire stay at the beach, was why we ended up here for lunch, and should tell you it is more popular than a mediocre location. This is a pricier spot than my other review of last night's dinner at the Wharfside, but the menu and ambiance support it. Like the night before there were cocktails and wines with lunch, though less so than we'd have had if it were dinner. The wine list and cocktail offerings were more than just decent, though not extensive. Being lunch and not dinner, the selections were lighter than a dinner would have been. There were several sandwiches from steak, to chicken, to crab cakes, and lobster rolls. Our toddler ate off the children's menu and enjoyed the mac and cheese. We also had several appetizers, including calamari, the steak egg rolls, which seemed more like a burrito than an egg roll, and king crab, which, while delicious, was not worth the money at $165/pound. It is a lovely location with waterside dining, but service was slow and why we skipped out on dessert. For those challenged by the stairs at the entrance, there is an elevator that can be accessed to bring strollers and those with handicaps up to the restaurant. This was definitely a 4, maybe a 5, but not anything lower. At least that was our experience

We placed our appetizers which arrived in a reasonable time line but we had to wait 1.5 hours for our main meal to be delivered. Way too slow and they were extremely slow this evening. Hated to have a confrontation at the dinner table but one happened and it didn't go well. Good luck and pass this place!

Although it wasn't very busy, service upstairs was fairly slow, and several nearby tables also seemed to be waiting a while for food or checks. For drinks, we ordered the Boardwalk Lemonade, which was sweet and refreshing, and their version of an Aperol Spritz, which had a beautiful presentation. My dad's Baked Brie Burger was delicious--the fig jam paired perfectly with it, and the waffle fries were fried to perfection. I ordered the Mr. Beautiful Burger, which tasted great at first. Unfortunately, I felt VERY sick almost immediately after eating. I can't say for certain what caused it, but since my dad didn't try my burger and felt fine after his meal, I suspect mine may not have been cooked properly. Despite that, I enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks, and overall experience. I'd definitely give this place another chance, though I'll skip the Mr. Beautiful Burger next time.

Disco fries were enough to feed an army and the gravy was absolutely delicious. The sautéed spinach - fresh and seasoned perfectly. The stuffed branzino (a Special) was fresh and citrusy. I never get stuffed fish because it's always full of breading and crab which I don't prefer. This was stuffed with summer squash and fennel julienned into a spaghetti as well as orange slices. We started our meal with Fried Calamari that was a potion that the three of us could not finish. The calamari was fried just enough and on the side was enough tomato sauce for all that we were given. This was middle of the road with no spice intended. For my meal I had seafood risotto that was fantastic. It came w small pieces of lobster, clams, shrimp and I believe scallops. This came in a nice amount of risotto and a sauce that was the best. There was plenty of fish to pair with risotto. Nobody could claim they skimped on the fish as there was plenty. A second meal was off the daily specials. This was cubed eggplant and pasta. The pasta was rigatoni in a very nice tomato sauce. And again this was another great tasing meal. The final meal was eggplant parm that came with spaghetti. The eggplant and cheese balance was really good and my wife loved the dish. Overall everyone loved their meals and all of us took home enough for another lunch or dinner. This is not our first time here and plan on returning again.
