Been craving true traditional yeast donuts for awhile, I never heard of this place , but it was suggested to me so I had to check it out !! I got an assorted dozen but of course had to make sure I got my favorite chocolate Kreme donuts ! Which were absolutely delicious!! I also got a Canoli filled donut , cookies and creme, strawberry , vanilla creme, and chocolate frosted donuts. They were all really good and definitely worth taking a trip there. The staff was super friendly , and helpful. Pricing wise was a little above average on the price paid $17 with tax for a dozen. If you check in on Yelp you can a free donut with your purchase! I would definitely recommend coming here for sure !! Will definitely come back ! read more

Excellent place for your donut treats.Owner is exceptionally friendly, been going there over a year,accommodating the customer to the fullest.Very suggestive in the variety she has.Never dissatisfied with any thing we bought in her store.My favorite are the lemon filled donuts and Apple fritters the very best I ever had.We usually would spend over $15 but worth it yes,yes the best. Cloud 9 was a hit amongst my whole donut-loving family! We ordered a dozen donuts, and they were gone in seconds! My favorite was the crumb cake donut, but I also tried a bite of OREO and loved that one too. We were happy with the variety of icings and toppings, and I loved that there were options for cake and yeast bases. Only thing I would change would be the hours, but I guess when they run out of donuts is a good closer. My favorites have to be the Boston Crème, Strawberry Jelly powdered and Cannoli donuts. I'd love to try more, but I need to get there a little earlier. read more

Ok so we are a bit of a donut snob. I like simple my husband likes cream filled. Grew up eating donuts in summer from Frog Hollow down near OceanView Campground. Delicious! The donuts were amazing but if you only want to go with one thing I would highly recommend the apple fritters. Best we have found in the area. Staff is super friendly! They even have made the shop COVID friendly and moved the register so you don't even need to go in. Will definitely be taking another trip soon! read more

Just stopped by here on a whim. My husband and I disdain Dunkin Donuts (ruined this industry) and are always on the hunt for good donuts. Cloud 9 had the best of NJ so far (we have tried at least 25 so far). And the Apple Fritter was perfect! I gave up on Apple Fritters on the East Coast!). Everything was excellent (7 items!) To keep it simple: these are the best donuts in the area. Don't walk, run to get them before they sell out for the day. To elaborate: I've been coming here since the first week they opened, and they've only gotten better with time. They make a huge variety of donuts, and have been adding more varieties as well as more baked goods (brownies, etc.) as well. I'm normally not a fan of cake donuts, but I LOVE theirs, although I still prefer their filled yeast donuts! I do wish they would put up signs saying what is on/in each donut, because I feel bad asking about each one that interests me, and sometimes it's hard to tell if a donut has a filling or just a lot of toppings. No matter what, it's a solid choice if you're anywhere near the area. read more

YES! GO! My daughters, husband and I agree these are probably THE BEST donuts we have ever had and wouldn't you much rather patronize a small business than a chain? We got some traditional kinds that we would all get at the... DD place (glazed, blueberry cake, strawberry frosted, jelly) as well as cannoli and a beignet ( luckily she still made some today : ) Dough is so light and fluffy, no oil taste that I so often taste at small donut shops. I cant wait to go back!!!! ( Note that I am not a big donut fan but always want to give places a try ... I will drive here for the donuts!!!!!!) And the owners were very friendly. read more

So this week I did a thing, not only did I cheat on Uncle Dood's Donuts once, but twice in one week how dare I! The reason is I wanted to bring the most honest donut review for Cloud 9 Donuts. The donuts here were really good, a lot of icing, healthy amount of toppings but I was a little turned off by the donut itself. Compared to uncle Dood's cloud 9 wasn't as greasy of a donut. I'm not sure if it's because Uncle Dood's pops them out as you order or what. But Cloud 9 didn't have that moist dense sponges feel to it like i was expecting. The only plus is it's 5 minutes in Brick opposed to 25 to Toms River for me. Unless I'm in a rush I would take the drive to Uncle Dood's for that made on demand donut! read more

I live down the road and the only reason I don't find more often is because I like being able to button my pants. Doughnuts are maybe my favorite bakery item and these are among the best. The cake donuts are moist and flavorful and the yeast doughnuts are truly like clouds. The shop is owner run and as a fellow baker I love talking shop with her. Go early on weekends cause they do sell out! read more

The most amazing donuts!!!! I'm on the Keyo diet but these donuts are well worth the cheat!! I didn't have time to take pictures of these donuts because I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into them. We brought lemon filled, jelly, Bavarian cream, cookies and cream, blueberry lemon. Everything was just delicious. I cannot wait to go back!!!! Ohhh yummm!!! Delicious Boston cream, jelly and specialty donuts. My only criticism is that the key lime donut has way more Bavarian cream (which is also delicious) than key lime cream. Will definitely be returning for another Saturday donut breakfast read more

The ordering process was simple, and the food was ready quickly. I had a chicken salad on a garlic bagel ($8.99?) as well as trying six mini donuts ($7.50?). The chicken salad also came with a potato salad, coleslaw, or a pickle. I opted for a pickle that was decent. The chicken salad was the highlight of the sandwich. It was all white meat with an ideal helping of mayonnaise and other seasoning. The garlic bagel was alright, nice texture, but a little small. It was nice to see the amount of chicken salad present. The donuts I tried are below. All the donuts were light. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - This was alright. It seemed to be more of a chocolate flavor rather than cookie dough. There was not a great balance here. Strawberry Shortcake - This was a vanilla donut with buttercream icing and a strawberry. I thought the buttercream icing would be too sweet, but that was not the case at all. It was delicate and complimented the lone strawberry piece nicely. Apple Crumb Cake - This was an apple crunch donut with rolled sugar and topped with apple compete, homemade graham cracker pie crust and drizzled with vanilla frosting. This was easily the best one. The warm apple complete and the homemade graham cracker crust made for an unbelievable combination. The sugar did not hurt either. Oreo Crunch - This was essentially just Oreo pieces with vanilla icing. It was not bad. I thought there were too many Oreo crumbles and pieces. The donut layer was hardly tasted. Maple Bacon Waffle - This was a vanilla donut in a maple glaze with a mini waffle and bacon pieces. I am not a huge fan of bacon on a donut, but this one of the better ones I tried. The bacon went well with the waffle and maple glaze. My only issue was the waffle. It was a little stale, but I imagine because it just lays on the donut as it was not made to order. Jelly - This was a traditional jelly donut with sugar. This was good. The jelly was thick and enough was present where every bite had a taste of jelly. The jelly I believe was of the raspberry variety. Will I go back? Yes.

I ordered the Mom Burger, which is a Swiss burger topped with mushrooms on a brioche bun. It also came with a good portion of fries and a side of pickles. The burger itself was pretty solid -- good flavor and a satisfying size. At $16, the portion felt fair considering the amount of fries you get with it. One thing I noticed was an additional charge for sauces. I asked about it, and they explained that all their sauces are made in-house, which is why they charge $1 per sauce. Honestly, that makes sense when they're homemade. Now the star of the show for me was actually the drink. After looking over the menu a bit more, I decided to try the LA Metro coffee drink with almond milk. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but for $5.99, I have to say it was really good. Definitely something I'd order again. I also want to mention the customer service. The girl working at the counter was extremely nice -- probably some of the best customer service I've had in a while. She didn't rush anything, answered my questions, and was very professional and friendly. I asked about the specials, the cakes they offer, and even whether they were doing a St. Patrick's Day platter, which they are. Overall, it was a really good experience. Good food, great drink, and excellent customer service. I'd definitely recommend stopping by Taylor Sam's if you're in the area.

AMAZING donuts... from day 1 they opened their doors, this establishment has been nothing but fantastic to visit. Friendly staff, awesome personalities, a personal touch to everything they make. I love when I walk in there and the normal donuts I buy are sold out. It makes me try something new. This place of business works with the local schools to do fundraisers, they have worked with the BTHS Boys Soccer team for an amazingly successful fundraiser. 5 out of 5 stars is just not enough for them.
