The finished cake was gorgeous. Three tiers, this beautiful draped treatment on the outside, chocolate cake with cannoli filling and buttercream. It had plenty of visual drama without tasting overly sweet. People actually talked to us about the cake afterward. We ended up cutting it with Andúril from The Lord of the Rings.

The large brown sugar crumbs were buttery & topped with a generous dusting of powdered sugar. Overall, great flavor but unfortunately the base of the cake was dry. Note, I preferred the cake warmed up. I put it in a 350 degree oven for ten minutes. If I ever find myself in Bags Head I'll for sure seek this place out!
