Do not book this company for an event. They are not capable of organizing a simple thing like parking or have the professionalism to properly communicate. My fiance has been emailing the owner to no avail and he was finally able to reach her by phone on the week of my wedding. She made my fiance call the town to try to obtain a permit and did not even attempt to call. I was planning to pay a decent amount for a wedding and she asked if the venue workers can scoop ice cream to my wedding coordinator. The business owner then told my fiance that the wedding coordinator told her to have my fiance call the town for a permit, which this is a blatant lie because my wedding coordinator called me with concerns as a vendor typically will deal with parking. They asked if me and my fiance can help during our wedding to guide them in or assist with parking and if they couldn't find parking it would eat into our paid time. We have other vendors where this is not a problem. The location was discussed when it was agreed upon. If I could give zero stars I would because my wedding is this week. She also charges my credit card without authorization as she did not finalize parking and did not email if she was coming to the event due to her complaining about the parking, mind you this is two days before the wedding Baked bear is amazing and I had more professionalism and organization in one phone call compared to this horrible experience. read more

She was well aware of the location and all the other vendors had no problem getting a parking permit from the town. She also unauthorized charged the full event even though she is not able to provide the services as she promised and neglected to figure her arrangements to provide the service. This is extremely upsetting as it is two days before the wedding. You're supposed to be able to depend on your vendors and not worry about what their supposed to be doing two days before the wedding. I'm obsessed with Lexylicious! I decided to have them come for my daughter birthday party and it was perfect. It's so easy to book with them and then you literally don't have to do anything. They bring everything they need and start serving out of the window. Just make sure you book them after everyone eats. All of the kids at the party went crazy when the truck pulleThey bake the cookies the day of your event and stuff them with ice cream for your guests. They also have GIANT Oreos!! I've never seen them before. Each guest got to choose what type of flavor combination they wanted. The servers were sooo sweet and helpful. Great wedding /event idea!! We attend a wedding in LBI this weekend and at the end of the evening they set up a stand to make your own ice cream sandwiches! I love how fun and customized - staff also was so nice! They had a few options on ice cream - vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream and different cookie options, sugar, chocolate chip or red velvet. Excellent branding with a personal touch. Beautiful pink box and packaged with the name written and a heart underneath! Oreo wafer cookie is listed at as 'oreo water' on doordash. You need to soak it in milk to do it justice. But when you do.. oh.my.god. Overall, the chocolate chip cookie stole the show. The sugar and funfetti tasted very similar to each other. We came here on the night of July 4th and were completely confused when we walked up and the place looked closed despite saying they're open on Facebook. The online ordering process was seamless and less than 10 minutes after ordering, our ice cream sandwiches were on the table in front of the business. The ice cream was absolutely delicious! I never expected that the ice cream was going to be as good as it was! Lexylicious definitely serves premium ice cream. I ended up ordering a cookie sandwich. The top cookie I chose was the peanut butter chunk and for the bottom I chose chocolate chip. The ice cream flavor I picked was peanut butter brownie. I also bought one chocolate chip cookie to go for my mom. The peanut butter chunk cookie and the ice cream was delicious! I would of rated it 5 stars if it weren't for the chocolate chip cookie. My mother and I didn't find the chocolate chip cookie to be good. It wasn't soft or ooey gooey as we had hoped it to be plus it was rather bland and lacked sweetness. The chocolate chip cookie was a nice size, but the other cookies were rather small. I think a good idea would to make all the cookies as the same size as the chocolate chip cookie. I still absolutely love this store, and the premium homemade ice cream is delicious! I have been waiting all winter for this ice cream place to open. Their specialty is freshly made ice cream sandwiches. They have a nice selection of cookies and about 16 flavors of ice cream. They also will sell just cookies, sundaes, and scoops of ice cream. I got the Warm Cookie Sundae. I had my choice of cookie, ice cream, topping, warm sauce, and whipped cream. I got the chocolate chip cookie, double chocolate ice cream, Reece's pieces, and hot fudge. I have included a picture. This was so good. I also had a taste of Salty Mama ice cream which is salted caramel ice cream with caramel pieces. That was really good as well but you could definitely taste the salt. My sundae was $6 and an ice cream sandwich was $5 (I think). The one negative is they put the sundae in a cardboard "bowl" and it didn't hold up well once the ice cream started melting. Anyway I will definitely be back. The shop has limited hours - for now it opens at 2 pm Thursday-Sunday but I bet that will change once summer comes. This shop is in Point Pleasant Beach right in the middle of the Main Street shopping area so it will get crowded. read more

I kept seeing these awesome Facebook post of these amazing looking cookie ice cream sandwiches that people were getting delivered but of course the delivery area stop at the town north of me. One day they posted that they were expanding delivery to include my town so of course I put in an order immediately. The day before delivery I got a text saying my delivery was confirmed for the following day and would be there between 4-7pm. My neighbor's ordered too and she texted me at 6:53pm that they just pulled up so I waited at my front door in excitement. Once I received my order I immediately put the ice cream into the freezer. It felt a tad melted but what can you expect when they are going out of the way and you were most likely one of the last deliveries (basing off of the time window given and the time it got here). After dinner I was way too stuffed but my kids weren't waiting. They decided to do half the sandwich vanilla and half cookies and cream. About an hour later, I was still pretty full but couldn't wait anymore so I did the same, half and half. OMG, the cookies were so fresh and the ice cream so creamy, even with it having to refreeze a bit, it didn't get that icy stuff like it tends to get. We had enough to last us a couple of servings. The kids the next day just made the cookies part of the toppings for the ice cream and I made a cookie sundae out of it. Will absolutely do again. This is a must try for anyone and a great idea to send as a social distancing birthday gift. read more

Oh. My. Goodness. Whenever I get married, I know what I am having for dessert... Lexylicious. What a brilliant idea and twist on the traditional ice cream sandwich. Lexylicious takes different things to make the cookie and creates what they call "outsides." The outsides are essentially rice krispies, meaning there are pretzels held together to create a cookie made with honey or marshmallow. The choices are out of this world: Frutie Cutie (frutie pebbles), Get Lucky (Lucky Charms), Cookie Monster (choc chip cookie), Cin City (Cinnamon Toast Crunch), and then a pretzel based (can't remember the fun name)! Then they top it off with traditional vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry ice cream. I had the Frutie Cutie with vanilla. It was insanely good. I loved everyone moment of it. After falling in love, I read up on the food truck. Lexylicious was created by a high school senior, Lexy. I love supporting bright and ambitious students. Besides having a boutique-like name these guys serve up nice looking hand made delicious treats, offer a rotating seasonal menu, and a good deal if you get a box of four. It is quite the elusive treasure though. Considered by its patrons as a local 'best kept secret' it travels to special events and festivals all over the state and its location in Ocean County varies. They don't actually have a solid location or store hours fyi. They kind of just materialize out of nowhere. Luckily their facebook and twitter pages will give you a heads up on where they will be next. If you happen to catch this adorable truck open at its "home location" in Toms River and didn't text them ahead for your order ...then you're out of luck. If you're someone like me who doesn't tweet or facebook at all, you have to kind of be STALKING their social media pages to get the lowdown on where they will be next and how to order from them sometimes which is about the ONLY MAJOR DOWNSIDE it has in my opinion. So sometimes you can text a preorder to them to pick up at their Toms River home base on a Friday which is a little different. However, if they're parked next to store fronts or are at special events and festivals you can just walk up to their window and order from them there as normal. This little company definitely knows what they're doing by creating a great product and then making it exclusive and a little bit difficult to get to. After catching myself checking their Twitter page almost every single day to find out when they were going to poof magic their way into existence again I had to take a step back and tell myself: it's only. an. ice cream. sandwich. They have a great presentation and their cookie treats look and taste decadent. Opinions may vary and some may very well disagree with me but they're totally worth the 'small obstacles' you have to jump through to get their product.
