MANASQUAN: in addition to their location in Matawan, check out Papa Ganache's downtown Manasquan storefront full of amazing cupcakes, cookies, muffins, brownies, full cakes, special baked goods, and even savory items. They take special orders and make custom cakes too and there is a full catering menu! Take a friend with you to go inside and order, then enjoy the treats at their dog friendly outdoor seating. All products are 100% vegan. A lot of their products are also gluten-free and the displays are separated to prevent cross contamination.

I was very excited when this location opened because I have been to the other locations and love the deserts. I have been here many times and yes it is a bit pricey but you have to realize that specialty flours and such do cost more. The very fact that I can walk in and chose any vegan and gluten free dessert, makes me willing to pay more for that convenience. This time, we went to pick up some Easter treats. We chose the Cannoli cupcakes. The icing is always on the super sweet side. I enjoyed it but my mom said it was too sweet. I feel there should have been more cannoli filling but I have never been disappointed with the cupcakes or any other dessert so it was okay. Overall the cupcake was still delicious! We have tried their cake lollipops which are extremely soft on the inside and crisp with the frosting on the outside. My mom had tried many of their meals like the calzone, pasta, and quiche. She loved the food. Definitely try it if you are in the area!

Almond and regular croissants

I've been wanting to try out their goods but hesitated because of the reviews of unfriendliness. But apparently they opened a second location closer to home so that decided it for me. I'm glad I came, because they were friendly and patient as I navigated their pastry case. We got a regular croissant, an almond croissant and four different cupcakes to sample. The croissants were a bit crunchier on the outside compared to other regular and vegan croissants that I've had, instead of flaky and crispy. But the insides were soft and layered. The cupcakes were mostly a letdown. The frosting was good on all of them but after four people trying all four, the only one that resounded was the carrot cupcake. The black velvet, crème brûlée and funfetti all had this rubbery texture to it. For six items, we paid I believe $36.

I was visiting a friend in Manasquan, and went here to stock up on goodies for an upcoming visit by my vegan cousin. I have celiac disease, so I was delighted to see the huge selection of gluten free desserts. My friends and I loved everything! The apple cheesecake was a big hit. We ate so much that I had to go back and re-stock for my cousin's visit!

Normally I really don't go out of my way for vegan food-but you wouldn't know it was vegan unless you knew. Strong flavors, great taste.

Lots of vegan topping options, also an order of seitan bites - teriyaki. Service was great and quick- friendly staff. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and even unsafe. When we first walked in, my toddler picked up a teddy bear from the window display that was within her reach. Before I could return it, the woman behind the counter sharply told us to put it back. If décor is placed at child level, a kinder approach would go a long way. The bigger issue came when I asked for a simple cup of water for my kids. Despite spending nearly $50 on pizza, I was told they don't offer water and directed to buy bottled water. After back and forth (and my son in tears), someone reluctantly filled his bottle, but only with a rude attitude that made me feel like I was asking for something out of line. To make matters worse, while I was speaking with the staff, my son leaned on a plastic mobile fence-like partition on wheels, which tipped over and injured his foot. His foot swelled immediately, and not once did anyone on staff check if he was okay. Later, my husband asked for a pizza box and again was met with attitude instead of help. I don't consider my family high maintenance, nor were any of my requests egregious. I've never once encountered such attitude from a local business -- especially in a family-friendly town like Asbury Park. The pizza itself was fine, but the service, lack of hospitality, and unsafe setup in the restaurant made this an awful experience for our family. Pizza should be a family-friendly outing -- Crust & Crumble made it anything but. We will not be returning.

They're also always out of some menu items: mac and cheese, whipped cream, etc. Depending on who is working they'll either cheerily bring the food to your table (it's counter service) or just yell your name from inside. They also charge a 3% "dine service charge" with no explanation. I hope they can find some consistency because we really want to support this adorable place.

A couple of tables on the porch are covered by the building and another couple are on the sidewalk. It is also very sunny, so make sure your dog is comfortable from the heat and sits in a shaded spot. We were told dogs are also allowed inside and when we took a peek,, it is such a fun space! Firstly, one would think V15 was a trendy vegan eatery, when in fact it's one of several different eateries in a "food hall" type of venue. We actually drove past the location as the address appeared to be and entirety different place. Once inside, there was scant seating, with about four tables and a few thin, tall tables with high top chairs against the walls. The atmosphere is far from pleasant and relaxing. The food was marginal, at best. I selected the vegan falafel wrap -- which was delivered after my partner's meal was half over and only came after questioned the cashier where my meal was. The wrap could barely contain the falafel balls, which didn't hold their shape, and crumbled into the aluminum to go container my meal presented in. The accompanying tahini dip a bland, tasteless, white concoction that added nothing to my lack luster meal. Perhaps I visited on an off day. Perhaps confusing V15 for an actual sit down restaurant made my visit worse. Either way, I won't be returning.

I ordered off of Door Dash and got the following: - Cheese Quesadilla: Vegan cheese, whole wheat tortilla, guacamole and "vegan ranch" - Avocado Fries: Big chunks of avocado fried like chicken fingers with the same ranch sauce - Vegan Cheese Cake The quesadilla was surprisingly good with caramelized onions inside. The guacamole came in a packet so it wasn't made fresh but it was good. The ranch also wasn't made fresh and didn't have great ingredients so probably not at all healthy. I did like the used whole wheat for their quesadilla. The avocado fries were very good and the cheesecake was also good but i'm also not sure it was made there. All that said I'd order from here again - it was also very reasonably priced for online ordering.
