I've been to B2 Bistro in North Brunswick but have never been to the Point Pleasant location. I was very happy with my experience! I recently tried their new spring menu and everything hit. Apps: Crabby gabby sushi roll -- my fave at a B2 restaurant and I loved it here as well! Bruschetta burrata -- abundant and the burrata was soo fresh. Baked Mac and cheese with lobster -- the creamiest mac and cheese and big chunks of meaty lobster. Scarpiello wings -- sticky and savory perfection. Could've made a made off this alone! Entrees: Pan seared scallops with polenta -- the scallops were nice and tender and seared very nicely. Linguine & clams with red sauce -- very generous with the clams and the sauce was flavored very well. Cheesesteak -- tender, juicy, huge portion and served on amazing bread. Deliciously cut fries too. Drinks: Berry loca margarita -- not even a big marg person and I loved this. Spring fling sangria -- my friend downed hers! Dessert: Chocolate lava cake -- oozing with chocolate. Sooo delicious. Can't skip this! Service was awesome -- our waiters were so friendly and helpful. I like the cozy and rustic vibes of the restaurant, makes it a welcoming spot. Definitely will be back. read more

After shopping at the Red Bank Bazaar, my friend and I drove around the shore looking for somewhere to eat. B2 Bistro+Bar was close to a restaurant we finally agreed on, but was closed that Sunday. I am actually happy it was closed because B2 Bistro+Bar was exactly what we needed that day. I had a Snow Globe Martini ($16) which impressed me with edible glitter (yes I am a chid at heart). We shared the Bruschetta Burrata ($20), which was good but they gave us only 4 small slices of toasts. My friend and I both thought they should have given 6 minimum, especially because 2 of them had huge hole in the middle so did it even count? lol For main I ordered a Prime Burger ($22) and my friend a Creamy Cajun Alfredo with Shrimp ($38). We genuinely loved our food. The space was large and spaced out. There was a 360 bar in the middle of the space. Nicely decorated for valentines day with strings of hearts falling from the ceiling/ lights. When we are in the area again - I think I would like to come back and try other things on the menu. read more

We are always looking to go to B2 Bistro long after our 709 days! We have a great time eating and drinking some fun specials along with our regular favorites. This time tho, I ordered one of my favorites, fried cod tacos which would have been perfect except that it was topped with a heavy amount of (I guess) pico de gallo sauce which I didn't like. I remember them having a light slaw on top of them but never served this way. I guess it was all in the fine print. My husband's short rib cheese steak sandwich was out of this world and I was kind of jealous that I chose what I did. Our waitress was superb running around very attentive to us and everyone in her area of serving. Ambience is always great and we are delighted to see our lovely front of the house woman doing her thing with seating and take out orders. Will be back again whenever we can! read more

Although I've been going here for years, always taken for granted and never reviewed. My bad! They are part of the foundational element for Point Pleasant Beach. A hang out bar in the middle of a family restaurant that happens to do catering as well in their upstairs private room. The food overall is decent with most dishes good and some falling short. But, you will always find something to like here. Nice ambience that has not changed much over the years. The bar is very comfortable and Cheers like as you will soon discover. Service was really great here! Very attentive. My Caesar salad salad was really good! I loved all of the dark green lettuce. Croutons were a little tasteless I have to say though. maybe just put some more seasonings on them? My fries were really good! Not too greasy or overcooked. We all shared the baked brie with the blueberries and that was amazing! I never knew brie tasted so good with blueberries before lol. it's definitely something you need to share. I taste a little bit of the chocolate lava cake and the peanut butter pie and they're each very delicious. Nice and chocolatey for one and nice and peanut buttery for the other one. The bathrooms were pretty clean but the handicap bathroom has a hole where the lock should be. They definitely need to get that fixed. And it feels like the bathroom stalls you could see through the cracks. Which is really weird! I don't know why American bathrooms are like this and I am American! overall I would definitely come back here. I'm sure if I come back maybe some of these things would be improved. read more

First time at B2 in Point Pleasant. The place was lively on a Saturday night despite the terrible weather. We were seated promptly without a reservation. Cozy atmosphere for casual date or large groups. We ordered the spicy bang bang shrimp, surf and turf and regular burger. The shrimp is doused in sauce creating a flavorful experience that can easily feed multiple people. The surf and turf called for an even saucier dish. While your hands will likely be covered in this burgers contents for the majority of your dining experience, if you enjoy a little novelty in your burgers, this is for you. Great location down in point pleasant. We came as a party of 8 for brunch and were seated very quickly. Our server Jessica was very nice and accommodating. We did the bottle service for the mimosas and it was worth the price as we got 8-9 drinks out of it. I had the eggs Benedict the English muffin was huge. Everyone loved their meals. We came here for dinner with friends before going to Jenks. I think this is a great place to go out to dinner with a group because the menu is so large, there is definitely something everyone can find to eat. There is sushi, pizzas, tacos, and so much more! They also have a huge bar. I had a cosmo to drink which was good, nothing special. They had Guinness on tap so my husband was happy. We spilt the chicken parm Stromboli and it was soo delicious. You could taste the sauce and it wasn't too dry like other Stromboli's I've had. It was loaded with chicken, vodka sauce, and cheese. I highly recommend! Their tuna tartar was so fresh, highly recommend. The cosmo was excellent, strong so be careful. Go here for amazing authentic Thai food! Stopped in on a whim and glad we came. Had the Thai Chilean Sea bass. The Chef is Thai so there are several Thai influenced dishes. The ambiance is like a modern upscale pub...a bar area with games on and high top seating and other low tables. We had no reservations but got right in. There's a room for private parties where you can have a more upscale small event as someone was having a birthday party which looked adorable. Our server was sweet and helpful. This hostess offered to take a family photo and checked in on us to see how the food was. Upstairs they were having a very cute holiday boutique to support small business with a lot of cute vendors and Santa. Perfect way to end our long Thanksgiving weekend celebration. I worked 120 hours this week. I'm so tired my blood hurts. Decided to doordash from the Point location. I was feeling down. This burger... it changed that. It was spectacular. Chef and the staff must be trying to put the owner out of business, there were so many fries in the box, I'm unsure how they managed to close it. *does the sign of the cross* I feel like those old people in pharmaceutical commercials depicting the after effects of a medication. I've been here a few times and it's always a consistently good stop. Food is delicious, atmosphere is fun (some nights they have live music), and the wait staff is very friendly. The food is good in that add butter to anything and it will taste good rather than the gourmet cone for the food kind of good. The short ribs were good, not great but good and the risotto was guilty pleasure good, meaning it was likely made with heavy cream and butter, not that but was creative but grilled cheese and PB&J. The fish tacos however were meh. The best part was the coleslaw which is never a good sign. This place is worth a stop for the hungry traveler but priced way beyond its culinary reach. read more

Very put off by the hostess. She was incredibly rude. She mocked us for not having reservations to come in for drinks only, meanwhile last year we had no issues walking in for a drink. Drinks were good and bartenders were pleasant. 3% credit card surcharge, are you kidding me. The cute local owned restaurants on Arnold Ave don't have this fee and I'm happy to patronize them. Long wait, but the worst part was the food. Several of us had the crab pasta and the crab must have just been just thrown on top of the pasta because it was all cold. The sauce under crab had no flavor and the pasta was barely warm. My daughter had a veggie wrap which she said tasted weird and her sweet potato fries looked a week old. Came for dinner on a Friday night with my mom. We were seated in a corner high top table near the window. My mom doesn't really like high tops but we weren't given a choice so we just settled in. The ambiance is nice here and service was very good. We were struggling though with the amount of flies. As we were eating flies were all over the place and we had to keep waving them away. For the food I got the salmon and she got the scallops. They were both cooked well but the scallops were the better dish. We both didn't really care for the pancetta in the risotto. It overwhelmed the dish. I would potentially come back and try again but probably better options around. If I made another reservation o would ask for the top deck. read more

Recently had dinner here early(ish) on a Saturday. Ate just off the bar at a low-top table, thankfully away from the door where the cold air would come in with every patron. Just had beer so can't comment of the cocktails, but the food was excellent. She crab soup was phenomenal. Tacos were made gluten free with lettuce wraps. Very tasty just a little messy. We have been coming here for years. This time, we had a waiter who caused us to never return for our 2x/week lunch. The waiter was staring and very closely pointing at our food with his finger, as if something was wrong while talking to a manager. When we asked what was wrong, he went, what we felt, was berserk! He literally was yelling at us and being very hostile. The manager was no help until he did the same to her. Then, and only then, did she send him home. This was handled poorly and unprofessionally, allowing this waiter to escalate his actions into a scene. The waiter and manager turned a course of events into us feeling unsafe. read more
