The Tradewinds checks all of the boxes - great food, service, drinks and ambiance. Had a lovely experience here for my mom's birthday dinner. We started with a drink at the bar during the new happy hour. It includes some food, plus drink specials. We moved over to the dining room for dinner and enjoyed the live music. It's not too loud so you can still hear each other. For dinner we had the meatballs, bacon, spicy rigatoni, halibut, short ribs, and the pork chop. Everything was delish. I noted it was my mom's birthday and they brought out complimentary cake and a sparkler which was really nice. Overall I'd recommend for both dinner or drinks and apps at the bar.

After a great wedding and a great stay at the White Sands, our perfect night was stained by our experience at Tradewinds. Two weeks before our wedding, we went to Tradewinds to let them know to expect a large late night wedding party. We were introduced to Jenette. When we said we were having a wedding afterparty her eyes lit up and she said there would be a $500 fee (with no included drinks) to ensure the space for our party, which would be paying for drinks individually, despite (in her words) the bar usually staying open until the last customers leave, and that the bar would be open to customers until closing. Other local bars told us they would accommodate us with no charge. We were about to choose another bar when Jenette called and told us that she spoke with the owner (her dad) and that the $500 would be a drink minimum. She came back with a contract (see photo) stating "hosts of the event shall be responsible for remitting the difference between the actual bar revenue collected and the $500 minimum. Such payment shall be due at the conclusion of the event." We agreed due to proximity to the hotel. Shuttles arrived at Tradewinds, and guests opened tabs. When the bride and groom arrived, staff ignored the bride's order and demanded a credit card. I went and spoke with staff, who were unaware of the afterparty contract - a clear lack of communication that was the root of the entire incident. They stated tabs that were already open did not count towards the $500 minimum, as there was no card on file and the bride and groom were not present. These stipulations were not stated in the contract. Jenette came in, and rather than revisiting the contract, she threatened to shut the place down. At this point, I was unhappy (belligerent and overserved were the words Jenette chose to describe me in her response to a review, which is strange as she told the bride she would "give me a free shot" for my troubles). I stated that I would hand them the $500 since they were no longer following the contract and clearly hungry for a few extra dollars, and they were threatening to shut the party down. At this point, my bride told me that we would not let them extort us, and my brother came in and put down a card. Instead of using my brother's card to "remit the difference between the actual bar revenue collected and the $500 minimum... due at the conclusion of the event," he was charged the first $500 and then the bar became a cash bar. He woke up the next day with an additional unauthorized $100 charge on his card. In her response to a google review from one of our friends (see photo), Jenette chooses to use unnecessary disparaging phrases like "the bride walked in and got on her knees." She also states that she has "been waiting for this review," which clearly shows that she knew she did not act appropriately. In Jenette's response to our friend's google review, she states that the party began to "disintegrate" as soon as I walked in, but she seemed happy to take money from our guests right up until closing time at 2AM. Bartenders and staff were tipped throughout the night, and the venue made well over the $500 minimum (Jenette will be happy to respond with an exact dollar amount, as the venue is clearly driven by profit and not guest experience). Videos of the moment where Jenette chooses to slander my bride in her review show a happy bride giving Jenette a hug and immediately complying with her wishes. Outside liquor was not brought into the bar, and "repairs" mentioned in her review were never mentioned to us. Videos taken throughout the night show a normal wedding party of people trying to enjoy themselves despite the issues with the Tradewinds owner's daughter. I'm sure Jenette is "waiting for this review" (see photo of original google review before their edit) and will again try to slander our wedding party, but if you are reading this think: What does the groom have to gain from leaving a truthful review that shows the Tradewinds owner's daughter's unprofessional behavior? And do you really want to gamble on the venue for an important life event?

Atmosphere and decor are solid here. Food is good. service is friendly. They are new and still working out a few kinks, though. Couple of mix ups and delays with our order. I would come back again after they get their groove. There's a couple of fun table side cocktails. Everyone really enjoyed the spinach and artichoke flatbread and it's a nice sized portion for a group to share as an appetizer. I had the butter poached crab stuffed lobster tail, it was okay, but not quite what I was expecting. Next time I'll try another dish. Food tips: Spinach and artichoke flatbread

Saw The Tradewinds on my Instagram account! Made reservations- party of 5. It's beautifully decorated! The complimentary bread was delicious! Food was tasty! There was a bit of a lag from the appetizers to entrees. We were offered more bread- yum! Our Server Jack checked in on us. He was great! He couldn't make recommendations on cocktails he doesn't drink but asked the bartender for the sweetest drink for me! Loved the SEE YOU IN PARADISE cocktail. Another Server came to open bottle of wine. Service- First wine glass placed on the table was visibly dirty, my husband had to ask for another glass. Utensils were not changed for each entree. Instead another staff member collected the appetizer plates and tilted the plate to slide the utensils unto the table. Not proper etiquette. Entree and cocktail prices on the higher end- don't mind paying but need exceptional service. Service was not quite there on this visit. Parking on site. Bathrooms clean.

What a lovely experience. Our waiter was so kind and explained the menu so well. He was helpful in offering suggestions for drinks and food and fun little recommendations based on what he had tried and other guests enjoyed. The ambience is nice and dressy for a proper dinner. Women think casual dresses or blouse with jeans. The drinks were phenomenal!! I must recommend the lychee martini. So good! And the food was absolutely amazing we left stuffed. We ordered the cauliflower wings which were so good I couldn't stop picking at them. We also got a burrata appetizer. And for main we did some spicy rigatoni and a goat cheese salad. Everything felt so intentionally crafted and tasty. And I left the best part for last the decor is so insta worthy. Every corner of the restaurant was beautiful in flowers and lighting. It gave main character syndrome but in the best way.

On my birthday, 09/29,25, my husband & I had made a reservation to Tradewinds for Dinner. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning inside. Quiet setting where we were able to talk & the music selection was great! The seasonal cocktails we purchased were super yummy & very flavorful! The waitstaff was super friendly and very attentive. We got 2 appetizers the bacon slab & lobster bisque soup. The soup was good not anything to write home about. The slab of bacon was huge and quite chewy. My husband got the stuffed lobster tail and said it was delicious. I got the bolognase pasta and it was pretty good. Honestly, i feel like the restaurant was all about esthetic, the food was good but we have had better seafood for sure.

    Spicy Paccheri

We've heard about this place for a few months now. We finally got to go and it didn't disappoint! Our server Chris was super friendly and attentive. Calamari and spinach/artichoke flatbread were a great start. My Wife got the Spicy Paccheri which was right up her alley. I got the Pork chop Scarpiello which was double cut chop, tender & delicious. The STAR of the night was the new Bourbon Bar & Lounge that they opened the night before. After dinner we stopped by there for a couple old fashioned's. Great selection of Bourbons/beers and the atmosphere was awesome. The new GM, John, came by and asked about our experience. You can tell he's got big plans for Tradewinds and will continue to make this restaurant a go-to spot for Locals. GET HERE WHILE YOU CAN!

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal.
