Chicken & Bubble Waffles

A fun sports bar located right near the theatre district. We stopped in for brunch before seeing a matinee and had a good experience. Everyone's food options were delicious, had a great presentation, and were perfect portion sizes.

The Three Monkeys is a spacious sports bar and craft beer bar with more than 30 craft beers on tap. The vintage-inspired interior gives it an extra unique vibe. They serve excellent comfort food like wings, tacos, burgers, and fish & chips. I ordered the chicken wrap, which comes with grilled chicken, avocado, tomato, arugula, bacon. It was better than I expected. The Monkey Nachos are also worth trying--these crunchy nachos loaded with cheese, sour cream, guacamole are great for sharing. Overall, 4 something stars.

Smash Burger with Onion Ring and Jalapeno. House cut fries. Yum!!

Needed some food and a pick me up. This place did the trick! I'll definitely be back!

This is a great sports bar with an extensive beer selection that rotates often. The service is amazing and the bartenders are very nice and knowledgeable of the beer menu. I asked for recommendations and they nailed it!!

Stopped in for a refreshing beer and some wings. Nice cool dim speakeasy sports bar vibe with two levels. Staff are friendly. Decent variety of shareables, salads, and hand-helds. Sizeable beer list and cocktails. Happy Hour 4-7. Alagash White 16oz for $9 and Citizen Unified press Cider 16oz $10 The Lemon Garlic & Buffalo wings were good and hit the spot.

Truffle fries and salt and pepper chicken bites.

The atmosphere was amazing, beautiful Christmas decor through out the establishment. Service was great, the bartender was nice and had a really good vibe. A nice place to grab a drink and a quick bite, we got the truffle fries and salt & pepper chicken bites with the chili sauce (the sauce made the chicken bites) a tad more salt and pepper or seasoning would've been a 10/10 for me. Next time I will try the burgers because those looked bomb!! Forgot to add the beer was good.

My Fish and Chips

The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I had the fish and chips, and it was more breading than fish plus the fries were not tasty too. My fiancé had fish tacos (which he loved) and his daughter had the smashed burger with fries (she liked it as well). The service was kind of slow but it was busy when we went. The ambiance was loud but of course it goes with being a sports bar and grill place. I would recommend it to anyone who wants some bar type food if they are ever in NYC.

This was a cool place with good beer. The service was friendly. We sat enjoying the moment in a busy bar while we people watched. Cheers!

Love this Irish pub! Got our Guinness and had a great time watching basketball in the bar. Bar tender was new but she did a great job! We also got the loaded nachos and those were delicious! Highly recommend!

Yankees games are on 24 hours a day, fun sports bar, good cocktails and a strong selection of beer. The espresso martini (Guinness) was a catalyst to the wonderful ambiance and the bartenders were very friendly.

Came here New Year's Day at around noon. Immediately got 2 bar stools in front of a tv which was great for college football. The bartender was busy and did take a while to greet us, and I had to ask a few times for a water. But when she got to know us more, she was wonderful. She was funny and kind. She ended up doing a great job. The beers we had were nice- an awesome selection. The buffalo chicken wontons were excellent! 10/10 would order again. Downside was only 1 restroom stall for all patrons to share. We will absolutely be back.

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

Ordered food to go because the bar was very loud. The music the DJ was playing was good though…read more Ordered buttermilk chicken tenders, shepherd's pie, hot chicken sandwiches, Asian-sesame dry rubbed wings, fries, and tater tots. The shepherd's pie is insanely salty and it's very off-putting. It was inedible. I was looking forward to having it but I would not in good faith recommend this to anyone. The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. It came with a little side of rustic chips. I would not come back for the food but I would possibly go back to try a drink if I was in the area. The drink menu looked pretty good.

Food is good, service was great. Management is horrible…read more I have been frequenting this restaurant for a long time. I noticed recently that there was a $2 transaction fee added to my bill. This was not a credit card fee (that I can understand). It is a "transaction fee" that is applied to all invoices. Are you kidding me! I have no trouble paying a an extra dollar for a burger. But if you try to rip me off by sneaking in extra charges, I will never come back. You just lost a regular customer over a $2 charge.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
