The Three Monkeys is a spacious sports bar and craft beer bar with more than 30 craft beers on tap. The vintage-inspired interior gives it an extra unique vibe. They serve excellent comfort food like wings, tacos, burgers, and fish & chips. I ordered the chicken wrap, which comes with grilled chicken, avocado, tomato, arugula, bacon. It was better than I expected. The Monkey Nachos are also worth trying--these crunchy nachos loaded with cheese, sour cream, guacamole are great for sharing. Overall, 4 something stars.

Smash Burger with Onion Ring and Jalapeno. House cut fries. Yum!!

This is a great sports bar with an extensive beer selection that rotates often. The service is amazing and the bartenders are very nice and knowledgeable of the beer menu. I asked for recommendations and they nailed it!!

The atmosphere was amazing, beautiful Christmas decor through out the establishment. Service was great, the bartender was nice and had a really good vibe. A nice place to grab a drink and a quick bite, we got the truffle fries and salt & pepper chicken bites with the chili sauce (the sauce made the chicken bites) a tad more salt and pepper or seasoning would've been a 10/10 for me. Next time I will try the burgers because those looked bomb!! Forgot to add the beer was good.

Stopped in for a refreshing beer and some wings. Nice cool dim speakeasy sports bar vibe with two levels. Staff are friendly. Decent variety of shareables, salads, and hand-helds. Sizeable beer list and cocktails. Happy Hour 4-7. Alagash White 16oz for $9 and Citizen Unified press Cider 16oz $10 The Lemon Garlic & Buffalo wings were good and hit the spot.

Love this Irish pub! Got our Guinness and had a great time watching basketball in the bar. Bar tender was new but she did a great job! We also got the loaded nachos and those were delicious! Highly recommend!

The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I had the fish and chips, and it was more breading than fish plus the fries were not tasty too. My fiancé had fish tacos (which he loved) and his daughter had the smashed burger with fries (she liked it as well). The service was kind of slow but it was busy when we went. The ambiance was loud but of course it goes with being a sports bar and grill place. I would recommend it to anyone who wants some bar type food if they are ever in NYC.

This was a cool place with good beer. The service was friendly. We sat enjoying the moment in a busy bar while we people watched. Cheers!

Came here New Year's Day at around noon. Immediately got 2 bar stools in front of a tv which was great for college football. The bartender was busy and did take a while to greet us, and I had to ask a few times for a water. But when she got to know us more, she was wonderful. She was funny and kind. She ended up doing a great job. The beers we had were nice- an awesome selection. The buffalo chicken wontons were excellent! 10/10 would order again. Downside was only 1 restroom stall for all patrons to share. We will absolutely be back.

We're three young women in the service industry and still felt completely unwelcome--the hostess told us to find our own seating even though the sign said see hostess. The bartender was rude and uninterested, standing 5 min+ at the bar without even being acknowledged. Another staff member was dismissive when closing us out and rolled her eyes when asked to take cash. The overall vibe felt like we weren't wanted, even though it was only around 11 PM. The DJ was underwhelming and the bathroom was vile. The most pleasant part was the below average $20 drinks. For an expensive, well-known spot, this was a very poor experience. Couldn't pay me to return.

Warm lighting, good energy, and a chill crowd make it an easy place to hang whether you're starting your night or winding it down. One of the best parts is the menu. It's super affordable for NYC, but still delivers on quality. Everything feels simple, satisfying, and done right. We ordered the burger and fries, wings and fries, plus a margarita and a mojito. The burger was juicy and filling, the wings were flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. The drinks were solid, refreshing, and exactly what you want at a spot like this. Location-wise, it's perfect. The Grizzly Pear is close to so many things, making it a great stop before or after exploring the neighborhood, catching up with friends, or heading to another spot nearby. The service really stood out too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, The Grizzly Pear is a great go-to if you want good food, decent drinks, a cool atmosphere, and fair prices all in one spot. Definitely a place I'd come back to again.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
