Eating my left over from last nights order

Love Rosie's. They have delicious pizza and the best meatballs I've ever had. Go here, you'll love it / they do sell out! So get there early

Calzone

Rosie's was our last stop to grab dinner before we drove home. it's a small little pizza counter with a few places to sit down. we ordered a round pie half pep and a meatball calzone. all i can say is wow wow wow. im not sure which one i loved more. the calzone dough was soft and fresh, cheese pull was 10/10. meatballs were tender and delicious! the pizza was cooked to perfection. firm undercarriage but not burnt, great flavor on the sauce and cheese. it wasnt quite a NY style and it wasnt quite neopolitan but we ate every last bite! great spot to grab some Za down the shore.

Cheese pizza

We were in Point Pleasant the other day and decided to try Rosie's pizza. The employee we ordered with was not very friendly and seemed annoyed when we didn't know what we wanted and needed menus. We ended up having the cheese pizza due to the high reviews online and on the pizza apps. The sauce had good flavor, the basil was fresh, and the cheese blend was very good. The crust was cooked well and overall it was a good pizza.

The kind of place you root for. Owner walks around to check on folks so A+ for customer service right off the bat. Then the pizza gets delivered. At that pint the owner could have punched me in the face and I still would give five stars. Absolutely delicious. It's shore Pizza but don't be fooled - it's legit!!!!

I came here because Dave gave it an 8.5 and the hype was huge, but for me, it's a 7.4. Great, just not fully my style of pizza. The bubbly char is incredible, probably the best I've had in NJ, and the crust is ultra thin and crisp. The cheese is clearly high quality. However, the flavor falls flat with no tang or kick, and the pie leans greasy with a heavy uncomfortable afterfeel. I think the main issue is that the sheet of sauce is dry and dead, and the flavor relies more on excess olive oil. It's more of a guilty-pleasure comfort pizza than a clean, vibrant one, which is what I usually look for. I totally get why people love it. The charred sourdough base gives it real satisfaction. To me, Lucci's in Belmar nails the same thin, crisp, high quality style with all the positives (plus a deeper flavor) and none of the downsides.

Pizza is amazing. Only reason I'm giving it a four stars because it's so hard to order a pie from here. You have to order three hours before and plan ahead. You can't just call and order something but pizza is really amazing.

Not that this local pizza joint who went vial with Barstool needs more love but I had to Yelp Rosie's just because it really is that good! The pizza is amazing even when you get it to go. The restaurant is warm and welcoming and not what you may expect from your local typical old school pizza joint. Rosie's is hip, clean, friendly, and memorable. The round pie is the perfect thin crust pizza cooked to perfection! The square is just as good so light and airy and not what you expect from a square pie! I can't wait to order again and enjoy the best slice DTS!

Simply great ! I'm not a Pizza connoisseur but this pizza is definitely delicious. I ordered the round pie because a small one wasn't available and I was alone. I notice a few people came in and ordered the small pizza and they didn't have any. If anything, I would recommend that they have options for one or two people. Service was nice, the staff was attentive. The young gentleman at the register was very friendly. Great overall.

Pinch me. Chose this place from a few reviews online. Well worth it. Make sure you call up at noon to order. It worked out perfectly. My only complaint is against myself, for not ordering more!

Good, decent pizza. Nowhere near worth the drama the Bennies bring to it during the summer.

Pretty great pizza, though I got the pan and probably should have gotten the round. Probably better for takeout than dine in.

Fresh tasting ingredients, the pizza is thin, crispy, light yet full of flavor. The meatballs are also great.

Probably in top 5 pizzas in the state. The crust was perfect and garlic really came through on the pizza. If I could I'd give it 10 stars.

Is this the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to?…read more Actually, yes, it is. And I have been to a lot of Italian restaurants. The wait for a table was 45 minutes, but it was worth every minute. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We ended up being seated in a back patio room and though it was very hot outside (one of those 100 degree days last summer), it was actually very nice in there. The show started with someone asking for our drink order, then coming back with said drinks. After that she brought out some starts on the house, courtesy of chef and owner Joe. We were off to a great start! Soon after she returned to get our dinner order. After that, Chef Joe himself showed up to our table to thank us for visiting his restaurant and ask how we liked things so far. We let him know those starters were perfect...eggplant balls and a corn/tomato salad. Eventually our dinner came. Both dishes were waaaaaaaay more food than either of us expected. I had ordered chicken with mozzarella squares on top and drizzled in balsamic, which was a special created by Chef Joe's wife, according to the menu. My partner got eggplant parm...and wow, what a pile of food it was. Two huge eggplant pieces piled high with delicious sauce and served with some delectable pasta. Chef Joe came back to the dining room awhile later to ask people how their entrees were, and we let him know this was a great experience. I want to go back to Point Pleasant just to get here again. This time I will make a reservation.

What an experience! Spano's is exactly what you'd want an Italian restaurant to be. The food is…read moreamazing. The customer service is exceptional. The ambiance is perfection. The night started with Joe Spano, the owner, stopping at our table to bring several little dishes before we even had a chance to look at the menu. The meatballs (made with actually no meat but rather eggplant) were pure sorcery...like so good there aren't words. He noticed our wine bottle (it's BYOB so come prepared!), and by pure coincidence, it was his favorite bottle. Joe asked to show another costumer because they had been discussing wines earlier, and he wanted to make sure they got to see the label. If that wasn't personal enough, the walls are adorned with black and white framed photographs of family from back in the day to the present. The environment is clean, well-maintained, and cozy. Every bite we had was exceptional and the portions were huge! We left contently full but with plenty of leftovers. I'm quite sure every meal will exceed the expectations of even the pickiest of eaters. Our server, Brian (or Bryan) was new but attentive and informative. He spent time talking with his tables and being personable while also making sure everyone was taking care of. Overall, I highly recommend experiencing a meal at Spano's at least once....but after your first bite, you'll likely be making your next reservation before you leave (like we saw many people do)!

However we are staying in a suite and decided to order it to go so we could dine privately on our ocean side balcony. The salmon dish was perfect if you want something light but flavorful. The salmon was melt in your mouth fresh. The appetizer was delicious. The clams and linguine was my favorite. The sauce was incredible and the noodles reminded of the ones my nana would make. If you are staying at the hotel you need to make sure to stop in! The food was the highlight of our afternoon. Update: the deserts were mind blowing! Not one of us can decide which desert was the best. They were all phenomenal! My kid and husband never like cheesecake and they devoured it. Best cannolis and tiramisu I have ever had! The desert is ten stars! Everyone SAVE ROOM FOR DESERT!! We will be talking about the deserts for years to come. Breakfast: Another amazing meal. The owner has perfected this entire menu. The eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce is light and creamy. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The crepes were so good my kid inhaled them before I could try a second bite.

It is so fun to walk down the boardwalk to reach Kohrs, which is nestled in-between arcades, boardwalk games, and is right on the beach. Kohr's has no seating at all, and solely consists of a counter where you can place your order. I knocked off one star because of this. Ordering felt chaotic and cramped, and it would be nice if they had a small seating area, like many other ice cream and candy shops do on the boardwalk. The woman who took our order was friendly enough, but the entire process felt rushed. I knocked off another star because they only accept cash. It is especially hard to juggle a few ice cream cones, with nowhere to sit or put the ice cream down, and then also comb through your purse, then wallet, for cash. I ordered a plain frozen vanilla custard, because I really wanted to compare this frozen custard to the one I get often at Rita's. The custard itself was good, but honestly not as good as our local Rita's custard. It was thick and the vanilla was flavorful, and also had a nice smooth texture. I just had higher expectations for a place that is known for their custard and seems to specialize in it. My husband got a mango ice which was also smooth, but the mango flavor tasted slightly artificial.

The associate must've misheard what I asked for, and at first I got all vanilla instead of orange/vanilla. I repeated my order back to him and he said he only heard vanilla. He seemed annoyed and didn't apologize. I asked for a regular size and it appears I was given the large and also charged for a large. The line behind me was long - I didn't feel like going back and forth so I paid and kept it moving. Hopefully next time, the ordering process is seamless. I understand the boardwalk is hectic and loud but employees should still be attentive and efficient when taking orders.
