Just moved to the area and ordered delivery last night. Requested that it arrived at 8pm. The gentleman I spoke to said it would be there at 11:45 minutes early and we do not have any way to heat it up. When I called, they did nothing to compensate. In fact, an older Italian gentleman hopped on the phone and said he did us a favor by delivering. They charged us a delivery fee so how is that a favor? On top of that, there's no other way to say this, but the pizza sucked! If you like Domino's, then you might like this, but it was thick and soggy. I can see why this gets three stars. Personally I think one star is appropriate for this gross spot. read more

This is what you want from your neighborhood pizzeria! The pizza was hot and delicious with a substantial amount of veggies on the peppers and onion pizza and lots of sausage on the meat option. I was greeted warmly, treated well, given a sample of their amazing garlic knots (they are the definition of what a garlic knot should be and most strive to achieve!) and felt like I was "home." Food was dank. Got some pasta and they give you like a whole loaf of bread and salad with it. Tons of food for a moderate price.

Order: cheesesteak on non toasted bread with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, lettuce. And well done fries Received: cheesesteak on overly toasted bread, American cheese lettuce tomatoes onions and very soggy undercooked fries. I have lived in the Brick area almost 10 years and this is my favorite pizza joint not counting the boardwalk pizza. Rondo's pizza prices aren't a rip off either like you see up at the boardwalk but the draw for me has always been great pizza and the owner seems to know the names of a lot of the customers including myself. I usually stick to pizza but their chicken parm and linguini and clam sauce with garlic bread is awesome!! read more

Saw this place had raving reviews for its pizza, so I decided to come in tonight and order a cheesesteak to go. It's pretty hard to screw that up, right? Well. My cheesesteak was a 70% bread 30% steak ratio, and rather dry. It was done in nearly 2 minutes, making me wonder if it was made fresh (especially since it was so late). The price point was decent, $10 for a large sandwich that I shared with my husband. I'll give rondos credit that I came in ten minutes before closing, but had no idea because the door was open and the OPEN sign was lit up bright. But there have been plenty of places where I've gone in close to closing and they make sure not to sacrifice quality. I'm still paying what I would've at 3pm. I might give these guys another chance, especially since the pizza is supposedly outstanding....but only time will tell. I won't be going out of my way to eat here. read more

The food is great.. behind the scenes though.. the store is dirty and he treats his employees like trash.. (yelling at us, screaming at the dishwasher etc) it's about 500 degrees in there he won't get the ac fixed.. I tried to last more than two days working for rondo.. I couldn't do it I was ready to pass out from the heat and embarrassed from him yelling at me in front of everyone there .. shame.. oh and he didn't give me my full pay.. no wonder there's always a 'help wanted' sign out front! read more

Forget the others in the neighborhood. Rondos is consistent! The best is the margarita Sicilian. It's an awesome pie. I have ordered the.mushroom risotto and it was amazing. My son loves the chicken francaise and for a pizzeria it's on the.money. I don't get what the fuss is about with Denino's but Rondo's much better food consistent and your business is appreciated. read more

I've been going to Rondo's for years! The owner, Giovanni (John), is friendly and eager to please his customers, (and is originally from Italy). The pizza is delicious and if you don't see something listed on the menu, just ask and usually they can accommodate you! I especially like their chicken parm! The restaurant itself is located in a little strip mall with plenty of parking and easily accessible. read more

So let me start by saying this if I order food and it is not what I oredered, I usually will say something in general apologizing for having to say something, but never ever post a bad review, as a matter of fact I have never posted a bad review in my life, with that being said here we go. General review the food is ok, but right across the street the food is better, I being a local now having lived here five years try to split my and my family's order and takeout business between all three pizza shops on that portion of drum point. Sorry for the long post but I feel the description is necessary. I will be providing pictures if possible on this site. Strike one. I ordered a strombolli with riccotta cheese added to it, when arrived to pick it up they forgot to add it. I mentioned to the girl at the counter, she asked if I didn't mind just having it on the side, you don't eat riccotta on the side I wanted it cooked with my strombolli. I was greeted with that by the cook threatening to beat my ass, no exaggeration, I of course responded by letting him know I heard him and feel free to do so. And that's being kind on his behavior. Strike two and final strike I with reservation decided to give them another chance as I had became friendly with the owner before this happened and it was the first or second time I remember even seeing that cook, the next time I saw the owner he confronted me asked me what happened and told me that person had been fired for I guess similar behavior with him or someone else, I never told the owner anything about the exchange until then. He thanked me for my continued business Last night I ordered a mushroom cheese steak With extra cheese. I picked it up arrived at home and when I opened the cheese steak up there was less meat then usual on it and hardly any cheese let alone extra cheese, and a very small amount of mushrooms. I didn't want the sandwich like that but they were closed as I oredered the SW about a hour before they close for the night. I saved the entire sandwich minus three or four bites my wife had from her half before she agreed we should say something, and my wife never says anything. I arrived at the store tonight with it wrapped in foil feeling very awkward now that I'm going to have to say something. I was greeted by the owner telling me to come to where he was making pizzas. I explained what happened and was told we'll next time I'll give you extra cheese for free, I do not want that, I do not want this SW, it isn't what I ordered, I told him what was wrong he I guess didn't believe me until I showed it to him, which he then said yes it should have had more cheese, well what do you want me to do, your not going to ruin my night he says, why should I have to loose he says, this is verbatin, he finally reluctantly agrees to make me a half of a SW. I waited till it was done paid him for maranara on the side. I then told him don't worry I'll get my food somewhere else, I was told essentially do what you got to do. I am dumbfounded by this, does he not realize me living hear on the water year round two miles away from the store, where my family and friends are given recommendations on where to order take out from would effect him negatively, even if I was a weekend summer goer at a rental house, does he honestly think he is behaving the way a pizza shop owner should behave. read more

Use to be good. Tonight the white pizza was horrible!!! We asked for no garlic and they added extra. Couldn't eat it as it was SOOO oily and box was soaked. Ask for antipasta with extra roasted peppers and we could only find 3 small slices. Free small Italian bread was stale. Waste of $40. Threw the whole pizza and bread in garbage. read more
