This is 100% the best pizza in Brick, if not all of northern ocean county. The crust has that perfect combination of an exterior crunch with a soft, slightly chewy interior. Mike's Pizza review I ordered one plain slice and one pepperoni The pizza was really good! Thin crust and perfectly cooked. The service was quick and friendly. The Pepperoni slice had the usual trickle of oil around the pepperoni's edges, but a quick blot with a napkin removed it right away... the atmosphere screams NJ local Pizza Joint, but since that's what it is, I can't fault them at all! This is a great neighborhood pizzeria. Lots of topping choices, fast friendly service and tasty food. They do pasta, subs and other types of food beyond pizza but I always go for a plain slice which is my favorite. I did once order a large pizza with a bunch of toppings but I think I went overboard because the pizza crust got soggy underneath and it was way too salty. The mushrooms were the canned type which I hate. It was almost $25! More than twice the price of a plain. I recommend to stick with a plain slice or two for a cheap meal. read more

Checking out a new pizza place every Friday this Lent with a large cheese pizza. My wife always gets garlic bread but added a large order of fries. Ordered over phone and told a half hour. Ten minute drive, so I try to time it to what I was told. Get there and it's all ready to go. Looked like guys behind counter care about the food, job and knew what they were doing. Crust a tad on the thin side for my taste, but super serviceable. Saw attractive containers of green peppers and onions on top of counter that I regretted not ordering, but I will next time. Singlehandedly the BEST kept secret for Italian food in Brick. Nestled in the middle of Drum Point Road, Mike's Pizza does not get the credit it deserves. I generally always order the hot food at Mike's. The entrees are delicious, plentiful and the price of the food is incredibly low when you taste the quality of the dishes. I've paid a lot more for bland, i exciting food. The veal parm dinner and the lasagna are my current favorites but i have had a few others and have not ordered anything that was not mouthwatering here. the thing that blew me away though, I was very pleasantly surprised w their cheesesteaks! they are outrageously tasty! they are top 3 in the Belmar to Brick region. The final thing i have to say is the employees are very friendly. i get a delivery every week and if i am hosting something at my home and need to provide food, Mike's is the place for me. I had a large order for a birthday party, and he was short on drivers. I offered to pick up the order to save time and Mike was extremely grateful for our flexibility and took care of us accordingly. Looking for a lunch sandwich and took a chance on Mike's. Ordered 2 large meatball heroes. Worst meatballs I have ever tasted! Like eating cardboard. Maybe it was the new no meat version but whatever it was it was horrible. I ate a 1/4 and threw out the rest. My associate that eats just about anything din't complain but when I offered him the rest of mine he declined. Also didn't eat the rest of his hero. BTW, the sauce tasted like Ragu. Eat at your own risk, you've been warned. That people give this place 4 stars is a joke. McDonalds burgers are better. read more

Small place with only a few tables. This place is not much to look at but The pizza is awesome. Owner knows customers by name always a sign of great food. Crispy crust with good amount of sauce and cheese but yet somewhat chewy. Will come back when I'm in the area. Sicilian takes an hour so be sure to call ahead. Mostly a take out place so don't expect much only a few booths for 4. I would give it 6 stars for best pizza in brick if I could. read more
