I was so pumped to find a Top Pot on the Eastside. It's a standard Top Pot, there's great donuts and coffee as well as basic apparel (T-shirts etc.) My favorite would have to be the Old-Fashioned although there's tons of specialty donuts there for everyone. My only issues were parking and that the wait was a little long, but it's definitely worth it. Go get your donut on! read more

Our family loved Top Pot ! Even over ice cream as a treat. We would take all our visitors there. For months now their donuts have gone down hill. They are just like the ones they sell at the grocery store. The cafes stopped making them on site; now that they expanded they are mass produced. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! It used to be my favorite place for coffee I would drive just to get it from there even though I have a Starbucks around the corner of my house. I paid a visit to it today (Tuesday July 19th around 2pm) with my friends, and the guy was very rude with the worst attitude. He literally tossed our credit cards, didn't smile, and when I asked him to split the check in two he said "say please". Let along that it took him a long time to make 3 white mochas, and they didn't taste well either. We thought that maybe he was just having a bad day, but when a guy came into the store he greeted him with the biggest smile and great politeness. We didn't do or say anything that was rude to him to receive this kind of awful treatment. The guy was somewhat short, tan skin, with a cap on. Ok what's the hype? Have been a few times now. Doughnuts are 2.50 each. For the price they should melt in my mouth. Got a choc cake donut. It left an oil taste in my mouth. Tried a glaze. Very heavy and sweat. What's up with the blue paint on the outside? Just doesn't go in Issaquah. read more

I love the location. Coffee is OK, the place is large enough to have big study groups. Only thing that sucks (and most important) is their doughnuts are never fresh! They run out of the good flavors fast and whatever is on their shelf, you can tell it is not very fresh. The top pot doughnuts from QFC are way more fresh. read more

There is a huge discrepancy in the prices of the donuts depending on where they are purchased. A seasonal favorite is the Caramel Apple Cake donut. This costs $2.50 at Wedgwood Top Pot shop, $1.60 in Renton at the airstream stand, a different price at Renton Landing. The Top Pot donuts sold in QFC grocery stores are 79 cents each. This feels a bit dishonest like customers could be getting gouged. BTW, twice experienced snooty, unfriendly service at Wedgwood shop. Disappointing. read more

It was my first time here and they gave me a free drink very nice of them indeed also staff was supper friendly and nice to talk to.

I really wanted to like this place but in the end it's only ok. I even got pumped up by watching some Simpson episodes with Homer salivating at the sugar filled goodness. This place is just averge and it's somewhat disappointed with their lack of selections. When I went to the store, they claim that there were normally more choices but most were sold out and they weren't going to make more. I was really dying to have a maple long bar and they only had the chocolate at that time. I don't see that problem at Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donut so it's tough to say this place would be better then those other national doughnut chains. read more

We are from out of town so we had been looking forward to trying our first time at Top Pot and It turned out to be a huge disappointment. My daughters and I went sometime after 2 in the afternoon and they had a poor selection of doughnuts to choose from. And what made it even worse the gal at the counter was put off by me asking her to put our doughnuts in a box. The doughnuts were dry. My kids who like anything sweet were even disappointed, they said that even the doughnuts from our Safeway bakery are better. Save your self time, money and calories...just don't go. read more

Highly overrated and overpriced. With the prices they charge, you would expect fried-dough nirvana. Nope.. I don't mind paying more for better quality but these doughnuts are not that much better than the kind of stuff I can get from my local QFC and they're 1/4 of the price! Best doughnut I've had in recent memory was the one in Vancouver's Granville Public Market. It was fresh, perfectly sweet, and had a wonderful tasting dough with a hint of honey. That doughnut melted in your mouth and it was a yeasty one, but not airy like a Krispy Kreme. My friends, THAT is what a good doughnut should taste like. IIRC, the price was about $1 CDN or about $.90 US. Sorry, fellow yelpers but Top Pot doesn't do it for me. read more

I really like their donuts here, they are big, fluffy and cheap! Its not hard to go wrong with a donut though. I'm not a big fan of their coffee though. The ambiance is alright, but there isn't a ton of room. I prefer the downtown place better. read more

I am a fan of top pot and was disappointed by the service here in the Bellevue location. The employees were rude and judgmental and were not listening to the order (just two doughnuts and a coffee). They plated my order stacked on a tiny plate and took about 15 mins to get my simple latte order. When they had the drink ready it was wrong and the lady dramatically poured it down the sink and was visibly irritated and made me feel bad for saying anything. Service is just awful. I am big fan of top-pot but the service I get at this location is just bad, they need training or hire different people. Why, see below: 1) They close at 5.30 and my two and half year old daughter wanted to eat a doughnut very badly and I decided to take her here. We went in at 5.22 and the lady said they are already closed I said its 5.22 and she said..yes, We are closed!! I felt she might had hard day and just left for another place. 2) Asked for macchiato and got semi-latte. I gave it back to her and said this is not macchiato and she started arguing its macchiato... 3) Went in on a cold morning and asked for old fashioned doughnut and requested if she can warm it...she over heated it and said its hot..whats inside is a pile of hot mushy sweet-dough...There is difference between hot and warm. I Just don't want to ruin my day and decided this is the last time I will go here. If the management of this place is looking at this..please give your employees some training or hire new people. Doughnuts are good...service is super bad. I totally think I wasted my breakfast, lost money and wasted time writing this long review on why your service suck!!!! read more

The Top Pot in Seattle is a little better in terms of ambience and experience. Bellevue location is pretty much right in the middle of the "working" district so there's a fair amount of douchebags lurking around at various break and lunch hours. The donuts are great. Most people think so. I can't disagree. I also think their coffee is generally pretty good. I've had a couple cafe americanos in here and they're always brewed well and come in nice mugs you can use. Parking is free if you get it validated inside. Service is a little bit slow. A true western Washington institution on the other side of the lake. Seattle one is preferred though. read more

The donuts tasted great, but they were just too dense and hard for me to eat. A coworker that wears dentures wasn't even able to take a single bite out of the rock-like boat anchors. I don't like having to gnaw on donuts. If only you could get donuts as light and fluffy as Krispy Kreme, but as tasty as these, they'd be perfect. read more
