10/10 will recommend Top Notch. I've been getting a monthly service for almost a year now. Mario and Larry are very very knowledgeable and attentive. I've always asked for Mario because he is super detailed when spraying, patient in listening to my concerns and just overall awesome. read more

informed them I have a wasp problem inside home they said they could treat inside and entry point outside but when gentlemen came he said they only treat outside ...he even called office which now said no only treat outside..he dusted the siding outside with a little bottle for just under 400. No affect ...it's been three days there are increasing numbers of agitated wasps flying around my house endangering my child who's allergic and dog . I called company back they said I can have another outside treatment in ten days that was all they could do. when I called again explaining how bad it's getting and I will have to leave my home they said they'd see if a technician could call me back...so far no call..they simply do not have experienced techs nor ability to do thorough job . Person who answered calls very nice ...man who came was pleasant and nice but i don't think they have enough experience. Will update review next week read more

Great service and follow-up job by Akel for my pantry moth infestation. Akel showed up on time was professional and pleasant, and most importantly competently exterminated the moths without any damage. He even recommended me to contact management to fix the vent which is where the moths may be coming from. I highly recommend top notch and hope I never have pests again. Also the receptionist and booking was very easy. read more

I'm beyond pleased with the communication and service with Top Notch! One of my tenants called me about seeing a Water Bug twice in one week. It's hot and rainy in NYC but Water Bugs are so unpleasant to look at and maybe there was a problem right. Larry was extremely professional and I appreciate that all of their record keeping is digital. Anthony was the technician they sent and he was extremely pleasant to work with - we spoke for the whole time he was completing the job. He was very calm and answered all of my questions and reassured the tenants felt comfortable as well! Their prices are pretty affordable too! Thank you guys - until next time..... but hopefully not! read more

Larry and Mario are fantastic! When I had a nasty mouse infestation problem, Larry was very empathetic and jumped right on the problem! He scheduled a technician, Mario, to assess and begin steps to eradicate the problem. Mario was thorough, helpful, kind and very informative. He knocked down the infestation almost entirely in the first visit. Two follow up visits were made with Larry's help, and the infestation problem is solved. I can't rave about these guys enough. They were professional, informative, prompt, pleasant and effective! Thank you, thank you!! read more

Fantastic service as usual and, at this point, as expected. They never disappoint and get the service done without issue. Both my wife and I were very busy with calls when Austin came to maintenance spray our home and was understanding of our need to multitask with work and did his thing quietly throughout or home safely and quickly. read more

How could you rate a place that advertise a family run business for 30 years then subs you out to some hacks without notice? The company they sent "Done Rigbt" Didn't didn't do right at all! Breaking over 25 Pavers, by drilling in center of stones, and then having the nerve to blame it on the homeowner back I'm showing Everyone what this company did. All my contractor friends, real estate agents and neighbors will know how deceptive these people are. read more

Total professionals, really Know their stuff! Mario the technician is a consummate pro!!! I highly recommend this company!!! read more

Excellent pest control service. Akel and his partner were able to do a quick and efficient sweep of my whole apartment and make sure that all areas were addressed. I can't imagine any reason why to look for another company for pest control. read more

I found Top Notch on Google search result and they were the most responsive, professional & friendly. We had a problem with conventional ants in a new property we purchased in Brooklyn. Kareem came over on top and even swung by later to get an additional area I identified for no extra charge. He's been doing this for a long time so he knows what he is doing. They said that it takes about a week for them to be all gone and its almost a week and they seem to be almost completely gone. I highly recommend Top Notch & Kareem! read more

I wish I had called Top Notch years ago! Super fast response and came that same day. Mario was such a pleasure - very professional, thorough and also a great communicator. I am very hopeful that we will win this battle. Thank you! read more

Top Notch is awesome! The summer months tends to bring mice to my residence, and as a dog owner - a cat is out of the question. Mario was the consultant and he is wonderful. He found areas in my place where the mice created holes, and he filled/sealed them. Since that happened, the activity is gone. Top Notch, and their consultant Mario, have been awesome, and they are affordable. Thank you so much! read more

I came back to my apartment after being away to discover that my home had roaches. I saw several of them, but like many of us, three is more than enough. My management company was not on the ball and couldn't get an exterminator out here as quickly as I needed. So I turned to the internet and discovered all the positive reviews of Top Notch Pest Control on Yelp, so I reached out and was able to secure an appointment in no time. Let me tell you - all pest control techs are not created equal - there are some who are just meh (like the one my management eventually sent that only performed a two minute treatment) and then there are those like Akel. Akel went above and beyond the call of duty and spent a good 20 miinutes in the apartment. He did a world tour of extermination: in the kitchen - he exterminated behind the refrigerator and the stove, underneath the sink, and inside the drawers and cabinets, in the livingroom he applied gel on furniture legs, and the underside of my buffet, and in the bathroom - under the sink and behind the toilet Akel came into the apartment like a superhero ready to eliminate the roaches. This was his second visit. The fee includes (2) visits within a 30 day time period. Hopefully there will be no more roaches in my home after Akel's second visit. I highly recommend him. read more

I highly recommend Top Notch from the first call to the service at my apartment. I moved into an apartment infested with about 3 different types of roaches. Larry was so helpful over the phone as I explained my out of control roach situation that the buildings extermination group was not handling. The appointment was booked within a couple days. Mario was equally patient, thorough, and respectful as he explained how Top Notch's approach would be different than what had been done thus far. Mario did the first two exterminations and explained a maintenance plan for me to decide the frequency, with no pressure. I then had Austin come for my maintenance a month later. He was equally as respectful, explanatory and thorough. I cannot thank you enough for helping me feel comfortable in my place for once! read more

Top Notch lives up to its name! We recently encountered a roach problem in our Manhattan studio and wasn't sure where to turn. The online reviews for Top Notch were outstanding and now we know why. The office was exceptional in answering all of our questions about how to handle and what to expect, and flexible in meeting our scheduling needs. read more

Technician Nick was extremely conscientious and quickly responded to my request.

Called Top Notch on a Tuesday. Had an appointment set for that Thursday. Austin, the technician, showed up early on within the 3 hour time window they promised, which was great. Austin was phenomenal - very knowledgable about the pesticides he used, what the pesticides did and why he was spraying where he did. He thoroughly covered my entire house, even the front and backyard. If I never need an exterminator again, I'm calling Austin and Top Notch. read more

I hired Top Notch Pest Control for my American roach problem because I felt like the exterminator my landlord hired wasn't treating the problem effectively. I think this was a good call and that Top Notch was much better. My technician Akel used two different treatments that seemed specifically tailored to American roaches and also sealed gaps where they could get in. Akel was friendly and accommodating and put extra effort into sealing the many little gaps in my (prewar) apartment. I would definitely recommend. read more

I have been dealing with the same father/son team since the 80's but due to recent events we've had to find new exterminators. Top Notch being one of the best rated we decided to give them a shot and I'm happy we found them so fast. Not only was Mario promptly on time, he was extremely courteous and informative on our first meeting. He immediately noticed I had an animal in the house and explained the chemicals are eco-friendly and obviously human/pet safe. He went above and beyond where he sprayed unlike my previous exterminators too which I appreciated a ton. I'll be recommending you guys to anyone in need of your services for sure. Really glad there's still businesses like you left. Already feels like you guys have been coming here for years. read more

This is my second consecutive year using Top Notch Pest Control. Last year our (early 20th century) home experienced both a carpenter ant infestation and some nasty cockroaches finding their way in via sewage system. Mario and Ryan paid two visits to our location and ensured the rest of the summer and fall wouldn't be ruined by insects. This year, a regular ant infestation started as the warm weather trickled in. The owner quickly penciled me in for an assessment, within 2-3 days of the calls. Austin stopped by, on the dot, as promised. He was friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable on the matters at hand, which he openly shared with my wife and I. Within 2 days, the ants were nowhere to be seen. Needless to say, we're devoted customers who'll be returning often (but hopefully not too often). Important to note, we have cats in our home and were very picky about who we do business with. The green solutions that Top Notch Pest Control use have caused zero harm or even discomfort to our little furry friends. Don't hesitate to reach out to them if you have four-legged family! read more

Highly recommend Top Notch for any pest issues. After reading so many good reviews on Yelp I decided to use their services for a persistent roach problem. I used raid, the plug ins and nothing worked. I keep everything sealed and covered and don't leave food out but the problem persisted. Anthony was a God send He isolated the issue and found the 'nest.' He was professional, informative and super helpful. Thank you so much for such a great job! read more

Sadly for me, I needed an exterminator again, this time for a different problem. I went back to Larry and they quickly helped me out. It was Labor Day weekend when I messaged them. They were here the next day. This is my go to place now, if I ever need help again. It's very reasonably priced, and the team is really fast and understanding. read more

I recently moved into a new apartment and unfortunately faced the shock of rat droppings and a few roaches. I searched for an accredited exterminator and contacted top notch pest control and they sent out the best exterminator Akel. They explained the process to me and I was given two appointments; the first appointment to get rid of the issue and the second appointment 3 weeks later for a follow up to make sure the issue was resolved. Akel came over promptly, on time and did a wonderful job. He truly eased my nerves. Akel is so personable and knowledgeable, he answered every question I had. I was terrified of seeing a rat or a roach and he did everything he could do ease my fears and he was so confident in his ability to get rid of the pests. I live in a ground level/basement apartment where the houses are attached and over populated, and unfortunately pests are inevitable. Akel came all the way over from Brooklyn to see me in queens where he sealed every hole, sprayed insecticide, and laid down roach bait and traps. Thankfully, after Akel's treatment I never saw a rat and only saw 2 roaches a couple weeks later. So I contacted top notch pest control for a follow up and requested Akel again. As expected, Akel showed up promptly and consistently provided me with the same great service he did prior. Once again he was very thorough. He checked everything he did the last visit to see the progress (which was great) and repeated the same service again. I cannot say enough good words about Akel. Before Akel came I was petrified to stay in my new apartment and I thought I was going to have no choice but to move. Thankfully Akel solved my problem and gave me piece of mind! Thank you Akel! read more

Recently moved into a home in Brooklyn and have unfortunately been dealing with a rodent problem. Texted Larry via Yelp late one night and he was Johnny-on-the-spot great. In minutes, he'd set an appt. and Mario was at my house by 10am the next day. Mario did a thorough inspection, laid bait and poison, plugged up a hole and gave me a sense of relief. I can't recommend them enough. Will definitely be calling/texting for follow-up. Edit: Called them again one year later and treatment was just as good. Communicated with me almost immediately and the appt. was next day. He even was able to come early. Thanks again! read more
