Top Notch is so great and I can't say enough about them, and the tremendous job they did, servicing my apt for two separate problems. The night I moved into a new apt., about this time last year, I walked in to find water bugs and almost died. I called them around 2 am, and left a frantic message, then sat on the street all night until they arrived. Fortunately, that was first thing in the morning. Larry was excellent, both in handling my over the top hysteria and fear of water bugs, as well as getting rid of them entirely and super fast!!! I was a nut, and he was both calming and not at all judgmental, thank you Larry! I remember saying "I can handle anything, give me rats, I don't care, but not water bugs." Fast forward one year exactly, and I had rats ! Both a nest in my yard, and a few of them running around my apt, all hours day and night. After waiting a few days for my landlord to come through, I couldn't do it another day, and once again, Top Notch came through with an immediate response. They squeezed me in to get someone out to me the next day, Anthony (who was tremendous!), to deal with the in house critters, and then a couple of days later to handle the nests out back (Mario, also tremendous!). Every single person that came to my place, for each issue, was both incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Their administrative response has also been at the same level; they are pleasant to interact with, and responses to all calls, texts and emails are almost immediate. My experience was really bad with top notch. I took an appointment and the were really fast in sending a professional He came and checked the whole apartment in 5 min. & he confirmed he can't see traces for any mice (however I told him I'm sure I saw one) Then he threw some small poison bags all around the apartment and gave me some glue pads and he asked my to put it by myself as he thought I don't need them at all After few days I found a mice running healthy and never got stuck on the pads (very low quality) So I got a better quality one from hardware store And I caught 2 mice in a week I left a review and the owner of the company called me and apologized and he promised he will send another professional but I should remove my review But he never did and when I texted him he said he is busy and never sent anyone When I texted again he said I should pay again for the service again. read more

We had been plagued by bedbugs, and the first exterminator that we hired (unlicensed, it turned out, which he lied about) was full of bluster, but failed to eradicate them. Top Notch sent the fantastic Mario, who was very polite, professional and helpful. It's now been a few months since his second treatment, and we are finally free of the problem. This is a horrible experience to go through, so my advice is DON'T try to save money by using someone unlicensed. (And the price difference actually wasn't much.) read more

Response time is fine but a little variable. Will response back within the hour and then sometimes 12 hours later. They are easy to work with. Total was $225 for mice problem but we still have mice. All they did was leave some sticky traps and give us rat bait. The mice do not even eat the bait. read more

My experience with Top Notch has been awesome! I have had a terrible mouse infestation, and am also an admittedly hard client to deal with because I have several roommates and a dog each with their own needs. Larry on the phone was truly accommodating. He was willing to start working at LITERALLY any time we needed him because of our situation (even offered to get a crew to my house before 7 am to accommodate my weird schedule!). We had a desire to not use poison but rather a deterrent, they told us their opinion but deferred to our request really graciously. Then we didn't want a certain repellent in the house and they were able to find alternatives, all the while being really nice about it and not charging us anything extra for the extra effort/materials. Then day of the service Mario, who showed up to do the assessment and fixes, was not only there remarkably early, but was really nice when I ended up being a few minutes late and he was waiting nearly 30 minutes or more. He was able to find the places where the mice were entering and fill them and also encourage us to look in places I hadn't prepared for near radiators on a different floor, and helped us move things out of the way to get to them. He really went the extra mile, all the while giving us sound advice on what the best practices were for the job, but also deferring to what we felt comfortable with (glue boards can be effective but we didn't feel comfortable using them anymore as we had killed many before in that way and couldn't stomach it anymore.) Overall they are really competent reasonable and honest, and I can wholeheartedly recommend them for any pest problem without any reservation. Thanks so much again guys! read more

Mark was my technician and he did a terrific job. Really thorough and super polite. After the first appointment, the roaches crawled out from their hiding spots and I found their corpses for a few days. By the time Mark returned for the follow-up appointment two weeks later, the roaches were gone. He got into every wall/floor space and made sure there was no evidence of them just to be sure. I'll recommend Top Notch to everyone I know. I wish the sub-par exterminator my building management sends once every 6 months was half as good. read more

Top Notch is truly that, top notch. This is the 2nd time we have used them and they were just as amazing as the first time. We discovered a roach in our house (my worst nightmare) and immediately called them. Anthony came and I was so thankful for his knowledge and professionalism. We had a mice infestation in our apartment (right after we finally got rid of the cockroaches...) so we called Top Notch and they were really solid. Akel, our exterminator, was really helpful in explaining what to look out for and the expected timeline for resolution. He sealed up any openings and holes through which the mice could get through and made sure to fully inspect the apartment. After Akel's first visit we caught a few mice and saw activity decrease after they started digging into the poison gel packets he put around our apartment. We just had our follow-up inspection and he told us we should be in good shape now. He put a few more gel packets around the kitchen and said if there are any stragglers they should be gone within the coming week or so. Would highly recommend Top Notch! read more

Just had the technician come over to treat our apartment. We had started seeing roaches a few months ago and had no idea where they could be coming from. After putting down roach baits and gel from Home Depot which didn't seem like it was working, I called top notch and spoke to Chris. She was super professional and explained to me the options, the process, and the services that they provided. Making an appointment was very easy and the technician (tony) came on time and quickly treated our kitchen and bathroom. He was professional, donned plastic bags over his shoes when j asked him to remove them (I have a 2yo) and clearly explained everything he was doing. Arranged for the GOLD service and got nothing. Tech texted at 5:47pm to say she would be late for our 3 to 6pm appointment. I had my staff stay home today to get service done. One poor guy went in to wait for nothing. Larry called to apologize, but I was so upset. You don't make promises to people who are in desperate need of service and then just leave them hanging. Service at 6:45pm would run for how long? They promise to blow insecticide in every outlet. That alone would take an hour. Big promises with no follow through. Larry said he would call back with a new appointment then texted to say he couldn't do the job. You lied. And then when you gkt called out for it, you got pissed. Don't argue with customers. A few days later Mario came out and he did an excellent job - very professional and informative. Within a couple minutes he found a couple holes behind my stove which I'm sure was the root of the issue. He sealed them up and put poison. He then continued to inspect the rest of my apartment, found several other areas of concern and addressed them. He did a speedy but incredibly thorough job. Hope I'm not jinxing things by writing the critters all seem to be gone. My only reservation would be that a week after treatment I was seeing babies. Lawrence in the office was very responsive and explained that an egg may have been left behind and hatched. However, I would have been charged for a follow up visit and I feel like a 5-star treatment should have gotten the eggs, too, or at least followed up for free if needed, as part of the initial job.
