BLUF: Personable, professional, informative service. My relative's house had a rodent issue. While we set traps, caught several mice, and located one mouse hole, we needed assistance to confirm and seal another. We used Yelp's Projects feature to search for pest control services. Of the responding vendors, Libra Pest Services provided the most reasonable price quote for our specific, limited scope of work. Germaine arrived slightly before the specified appointment time and worked for about half an hour. He helped us unseat the gas stove, sealed the hole by the gas line with steel wool and an insulating foam sealant, and helped us re-seat the gas stove. Germaine also put steel wool into the gap between the kitchen cabinet and wall, sealed the mouse hole we initially found, and set a few glue traps and snap traps with tracking powder in some other areas of the house. Germaine gave us a tip on how to place our existing traps -- to place the bait side of the trap along the path rodents walk -- i.e., facing the wall. He reminded us that pest control isn't a one-time thing, but a process that can require time and maintenance. Speaking with Germaine directly and he was the one who came out to the property, not a tech and an answering service. My service included wasp treatment under the porch by the support beams and an ant problem in the entryway. He sprayed the wasps with spray and powder per request and sealed any crevices with steel wool to prevent them from coming back. Sprayed the entryways for ants and left bait. All in all good experience. Only wish I would have gotten more advice on how to prevent infestations and what scents keeps wasps and other insects away to prevent more hives.
