When we found out we had a mouse problem at my mum's house, it was a nightmare. I was dreading finding someone that wouldn't gauge us over the price and still do a good job. I recently moved across country with my two pet rescue rabbits and needed help safety proofing my apartment. (My wife called 3 other companies with no return call.) Mike from One Hour answered the phone right away. He asked some questions and could hear the concern in my voice. He gave me a very reasonable quote and explained in detail what the technician was going to do. He was able to give me an appointment the very next day but kept in touch with me throughout the night and the next morning. Something other extermination companies do not do. Frank came to my house right on time and began inspecting for any possible entry points. He found several holes that he promptly patched up. It was a Saturday night and instead of having a nice night out, I was dealing with a very sudden FLYING ant infestation. Literally hundreds in my bedroom. A pigeon had (apparently) chewed through the foam sealing around my AC in my home office and I discovered it on my desk this afternoon. GROSS! Not what was expected! The rats were using the tree stump as a burrow. I called and was given the impression this was a big job that one person couldn't do the next day. But it can be done the following day because of the box that was going to be used. He arrived on time but they did nothing special to the tree stump. They packed the dirt with poison, broke a Corona bottle and spread it into the dirt. And then placed the same black bait station you see around apartment buildings into the stump. On the phone he expressed using some spike material to fill the hole and this big black box. I was totally dissatisfied. I wasn't going to pay for that but he was having that poor girl stick her hand into the stump and remove the glass pieces. I felt sorry for her and paid the money. read more

Where can I begin, Frank delivered quality service from beginning to end . My husband and I found a mouse after killing one the week before . Frank immediately recognized that the management company had overlooked holes in areas in our apartment. Frank had a strategy and got to work. Texted to check on is multiple times, had a willing positive attitude to trap the mouse. Guided us on checking on the bait and found holes that the Landlord maintenance missed which was most likely the entrance for the mouse. When the warm weather started in June, I started seeing big roaches coming out in my apartment. I've let my building management know. They did close holes near the radiator pipes, but that was it. I kept seeing the pests appear in my glue traps every couple of weeks. I let management know again to inspect the apartment, but the super said he already closed all the holes from last time. Realizing I would need a professional, I found One Hour Pest Control with numerous good reviews on Yelp. I spoke to Mike on the phone and gave details of my problem. He scheduled a technician to immediately come by the next day and always followed up with me on text before and after the appointment. Ray came by and did a thorough inspection of my apartment. He found three holes under the window sill. He believed the pests were coming from there and had those closed up. He pulled the oven out and caulked the hole around the gas line. Under the kitchen sink, there was already caulk around the pipes, but Ray found a couple of small holes in the caulked area and closed those. Then he used some strong special chemicals and put it in a couple of hotspots as well as spraying the entire apartment. Ray answered all of my questions, even though I sounded paranoid. We've been having a rodent issue in our apartment due to it being an old building, and was recommended to one hour pest control, I called early in the morning and was able to get in touch with a representative right away who was kind and was able to ensure me that everything would be taken care of. About an hour or less after i was greeted by a fellow exterminator that brought pesticide for the rodents and told me that I should stay away for a few hours while the gases did there part. luckily I was able to go to a neighbors place for a few hours till everything was clear.
