Rented a small office in Queens Village area. Suddenly, the place was overrun by flies. I'm talking more than 50 flying around. That's what happens when the door in the back is right by a dumpster, and that door ain't even sealed well. Called up Bug Techs, and someone answered the phone right away. They asked their questions and asked how soon would I like someone out there. I said as soon as possible. They said how about in 30 minutes. I said great. They quoted me $175 to do the job. Last pest control company wanted $450 (big one in Long Island City, thx for the highballing me). They actually came out in 30 minutes, they spayed, all flies were dead in minutes. I came back hours later, still no flies. Job damn well done, will definitely use them again. read more

Had a rodent issue and called Bug Tech after having an unsatisfactory experience with Orkin. We had Jason as our service tech and he was professional and courteous, even taking off his shoes upon entry to the house. Jason took his time, knocking walls and ceilings. He also actively sought out any holes that were present and sealed the ones that were found. He gave honest advice, was patient with my questions and I could tell he was very knowledgeable about his field. I would call Bug Tech back because of techs like Jason. Thank you for your service.- read more

I recently had an inspection done for suspected bed bugs, and I'm really glad I called Bed Techs Pest Control Company. They were professional, punctual, and extremely thorough throughout the entire process. From the moment they arrived, they took the time to carefully inspect all areas, explaining what they were looking for and why. Both unfortunately and fortunately bed bugs were found, and I appreciated how clearly everything was communicated. Shakil walked me through the evidence, answered all my questions honestly, and didn't try to upsell unnecessary treatments. His knowledge and transparency made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. My mother who is I'll with a disease where she is nonverbal- was getting rashes on her face and bites on her arms which was extremely scary for the whole family. Several nurses came to my home and were unsure of what she was reacting to. Of course this triggered so much anxiety until I found Bug Tech Pest Control Company! Once the bed bugs were found, Shakil and his team treated the home right away.. the same day and with several follow ups to ease my anxiety and take care of the problem. What stood out most was Shakils attention to detail and the way they treated my home with respect. They made sure I understood the next steps and gave helpful guidance on how to prepare and prevent future issues. Overall, I would highly recommend their company to anyone dealing with a similar problem and/or any type of bug or rodent. They are reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about helping their clients resolve the issue effectively. I am looking forward to having yearly sprays to ensure my home is clean! read more

I had a nest of yellow jackets under the siding of my house. Bit me and the two kids. The technician who came asked where I noted them coming into the house. He then went over that area carefully as well as the entire front showing me other points of entry before filling them. Then, in addition to the area of nest, he did the ENTIRE perimeter of the house. So far I have not seen a yellowjacket. Only problem, I'm still waiting for a receipt read more

I requested for pictures and I am yet to receive any. They promised they will tell the technician before the appointment. They came out a second time to treat for roaches and ants. Our experience was great, Shakil was very efficient, and we heartily recommend this place!

I needed a second go around..these roaches are persistent little fuckers. The owner came, FREE OF CHARGE, and did a thorough extermination again. I fear they will always be lurking around but in the meantime, I feel assured that they're mostly gone. HIGHLY recommend (Still not taking pics of the bugs) read more

Amazing company, very knowledgeable and straightforward. Highly recommend. More thorough and honest. Able to quickly identify and treat the areas that had termites. Other exterminators missed the source of the infestation read more

Amazing company, amazing service and amazing results. I needed their services twice; once for a mouse problem and then the second time was for a fly issue. The first time: Mr.Shaquil came in on the same day, He was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. He thoroughly helped me with the mice problem, I haven't seen ONE mouse dropping since then (this was at least 3 months ago). Today I called in at 6:00 am, by noon Joseph came in, helped me diagnose the issue and sprayed the problem areas to prevent future issues. Joseph was very respectful, knowledgeable and efficient as well! So grateful to you guys!!! read more

Just an update - the ants did stay away for a whole year from when they came and sprayed, but with a new spring season they popped back up. Shakil came over same day and sprayed my place and set up all sorts of baits outside to kill the pesky colony. I trust that it'll work as well as it did last year. Shakil is so pleasant and great to talk to while he works too. Definitely recommend Bug Techs over anyone else! read more

If I could give this company NO STARS, I would. The problem is simple: They will quote you one price when you initail call and set up an appointment. Then when thye get to the job, they will raise the price. I was quotes a price of $225.00. The day of the fumigation, he said the price was now $275.00 When I told him that I would pay the jacked-up fee, but I would never do business with him again, he called five minutes later saying that the price was $325. THEIR WORD MEANS NOTHING. Expect to be asked to pay a higher fee than was quoted to you. They are thieves. read more

I have used them a few times over the years and they have always solved the issue the first time! Recently we had a difficult to reach wasp nest that he hung out of a window to get to. Moved into a place that was the second coming of demon spawn. It was so bad I was having nightmares of roaches falling on me from the ceilings. And at one point there really was an exorcist roach walking on the ceiling whispering in the ancient tongue of the erstwhile hell spawn. This exterminator committed the genocide of purity upon the demon spawn and gave me peace. Hire him. As for my PTSD, I'll get a therapist. read more

I reviewed this company recently, but for some reason, Yelp listed my state as being in California, whereas I live in NYC. Bug Techs is an unsavory company. You cannot trust their prices because they will quote you one price and then when they arrive to do the job, they will jack up the price. Their word means nothing. I actually received a texted message from them today, after they discoered the bad review. They offered me a $50 discount IF I WERE TO REMOVE THE BAD REVIEW. I told them that I never wanted to do business with them ever again, and also told them where they could stick that $50 discount. Stay as far away from these people , they will make your day miserable. read more

These guys are great! I had a major slob roommate who invited extra guests (pests) and when I couldn't get a hold of the pest control company I used in the past, I panicked. My new roommate was moving in and I wanted the entire apt fumigated for a clean start. Sirfraz was the first person to respond to me and also the most fairly priced. He explained everything to me and answered my questions in detail. I wasn't sure what day I needed it and ended up calling him the day before, and he managed to make it all work. Javier, the tech who came, went above and beyond spraying, going as far as stuffing steel wool I had in the holes. He offered to follow the no shoes policy and came Covid-ready. Really efficient and thorough work by a sweet guy. Thank you! read more

Very responsive and good price. Mouse seen on Saturday night. Bugtechs came on Sunday morning to plug 2 holes in each closet, behind dishwasher and refrigerator and put bait in the walls to deter future mice. Shakil was pleasant, responsive, thorough and price was reasonable. Very easy and fast. Will work with Bugtechs again if needed. read more

I will call them for all my extermination needs. read more
