I usually do my research before visiting places by reading reviews. I saw that a lot of people recommended Chinh, so I decided to make an appointment with him. The reviews were very accurate because Chinh took his time on my feet (I got a pedicure). While I noticed others give a quick pedicure, he was taking his time on my feet, which lasted about 45 minutes. He barely speaks English, but he is so humble and hard working. I am so glad I found a great person to trust with my feet. The manager came over to greet me while getting my pedicure and even said goodbye using my name. Customer service was top notch and I will be definitely returning! My daughter got a pedicure by Ann. She was great too. My daughter said she only wants to see her in the future! read more

I LOVE this place! They all welcomed me in and made me feel special. Their professional recommendations are GREAT if you are unsure about any colors, color combinations, designs or textures. Although he is NOT the quickest, he gives you QUALITY nails - I think he may be a perfectionist lol (a few more minutes at the nail salon means you're golden for the next few weeks). Tina is AMAZING. However, my horrible experience with Mia ruined everything for me. Mia did a terrible job on my nails. I only accepted her to do my nails because it was an emergency walk in appointment and no one else was available. She completely ruined my nails and when I went back to ask her to fix them because I was so unsatisfied (believe me, I am not the type to make a big deal about this type of stuff normally but it really was that bad) she got very defensive. I was so disgusted with her service that I left and haven't been back since. She trimmed my nails very uneven. Also, WITHIN 24 hours, my nails started chipping!!! I love this place! I don't usually get my nails done but when I really need to do it for an event, this is my to-go to place. I have gotten my nails done with everyone except for Tina, Fred, and Tommy but everyone does a great job so you can't go wrong with who you choose. The best nail service I have ever gotten in the dmv! I called the same day and made an appointment with Kevin! Showed him what I wanted and made them look way better then what I had showed him! He uses his own gel powders and mixes' he took about two hours on my nails which I didn't make no because he took his time and made them look PERFECT !! I used to go to this nail salon back when Tina worked there and she was simply amazing which is why I'm even giving them 2 stars. After Tina quit I switched shops. My new nail tech wasn't available today so I decided to give them another chance. I called and explained I needed a fill in with 2 repairs. They told me a fill is 17 and each repair is $3. I set an appointment and asked for a specific nail artist. Okay. $23. When I got there she wasn't ready. The man started taking off my nail polish while I waited. When she was finished with her client she came over to me. She started filing my bail then proceeded to tell me my nails will now be $35 because of my length (extra 5) and because my nails are coffin (another 5). But they didn't tell me that over the phone. Charging for length is weird but I would've been fine if she didn't charge me for coffin. My nails are already coffin shaped so why would I be charged for keeping my nails the same?? Also $17 plus $6 for 2 repairs, plus $5 for shape, plus 5 for length isn't even $35. For $35 I could've gotten a brand new full set. Are you kidding? read more

I only went there to get my eyebrows done and it's not my normal place but they were cheap and close by so since I desperately needed them done I went and omg maybe it was just the lady that did them, her name was Chau, but she was the sweetest and kindest lady ever! She was so cute and friendly and my eyebrows honestly never looked better I have gone there every other week she's the only person I let do my eyebrows now and the only person I will ever let do them. read more

Let me start by saying, Tina the nail technician is really good but.. They are NEVER on time. I've made appointments when they first open and she comes in 15 min late. Also, whoever answers the phone has screwed up my scheduling 85% of the time. Her English is really bad and has put me down on days that I never requested. The atmosphere is ok. If you don't mind the techs speaking in their language the whole time then this may be the place for you. Personally, I think it's rude. read more

Review is for a pedicure UGGGGGHHHH! This place sucks. Or maybe just the person I had but f**k! Why have places cut down so much on the massage part of a pedicure!!?? No lie, she did my one leg/foot for 1 minute and my other leg/foot for 20 seconds. I don't get it! So frustrating. I've even paid for the spa pedicure at other places and it's still super skimpy. That's the best part, to me anyway. She also cut my toe with the clipper things, I'm bleeding a little and the entire "clean up" process of my nails and toes was crappy and hurt, which it never really does and I'm definitely never made to bleed. And I completely forgot to mention!- in the beginning she had just started on my feet and someone came over (coworker) and she proceeded to have a 4-5 minute conversation without continuing with my pedicure at all. Finally the lady walked away and she started my pedicure again but continued to look over through the store to see what was going on, more interested in what everyone else was doing than doing a decent job. I used to go to Tina faithfully but moved out of the area and took a break from the nail salons. Well I decided to go to the convenient nail shop across my home and that was a BIG mistake. Let's just say i had to visit Tina on an emergency basis and I will never go astray. Unfortunately I was unable to get my nails done, went in on a Sunday for a full set and a pedi at 1:30 and was told they could only do a pedi because they had an appt at 2:00. I just left top nails and I am thoroughly disappointed in the service and quality of my nails. When I walked in I requested a gel manicure and a pedicure . A guy with a cough proceeded to do the gel manicure and his technique was absolutely unacceptable . He kept messing up when applying the polish, then he got the gel polish on one of my knuckles ( my knuckles ) and when I asked him how am I supposed to get this off my knuckles he got an attitude . He didn't even realize he was doing such a sloppy job he got polish on knuckle. He was very rough when giving the manicure constantly pulling on my hands a little too harsh and it took him an hour to do!!!!!!!!! By the time he was finished not only was I unhappy with his service but I had polish on the underside of my fingers below the nail. I was so displeased with the final result I told him I no longer wanted the pedicure he was preparing to do next and paid without leaving a tip ( something I have never done) i will never return to this nail shop again and am currently trying to find somewhere to get my pedicure . read more

I've been going to Top Nails for years. I really don't have anything negative to say about them. I think every salon has good people and better people. Everyone seem to be qualified at what they do and they are always friendly. The prices are very competitive and they always seem to squeeze me in, I have never had to wait long at all. I have never written a review before for any place but I just had to do one for this nail salon. I absolutely love this place. The staff is so friendly and know there customers so well. I really appreciate a place that treats me with friendliness and respect. I always get my nails done stiletto style and I am never disappointed with how they are left. I know the job is done greatly because not only do I love my nails but I always get compliments on how nice they are and how cute they look. Kevin is amazing at making them look thin and natural, they are just beautiful. Ann is the BEST at eyebrows! I am always so terrified that they will be left too thin. But that is never the case here. My mother and I have been coming to this place for over three years now and we really like it. I recommend this nail salon to everyone who asks me where I get dolled up at. Tina and Tommy are both absolutely amazing. I refuse to go anywhere else. My nails are of high importance because as a hairstylist, not only are my nails always on display, but they have to last through chemicals, constant hairwashing, and heat tools. I get acrylics and when either of them do my nails, they last for weeks. Both of them take their time and do whatever it takes to make me happy, and i am as picky as they come. I have been in the process of finding a good salon for my pedicures. I tried this one, and was very unhappy with the entire experience. The store appeared dirty, and was cluttered with junk. The pedicure area was not clean and the stand used for holding the materials was also messy and disorganized. A man was standing just outside the open back door, smoking. Real professional! I should have left, but I had already been seated, and the tools were in a sterile pack. I left wondering why someone would own a salon business without making sure the place was clean and comfortable for the customers. Will not go back. read more

I am really disappointed with my experience with top nails. Some people really swear by them so I was surprised by what happened to me. I went to get acrylics on, I thought she did a great job and they looked really nice. One week and one day later they were already peeling off. I have been told by friends that acrylics usually stay on for about 2 or 3 weeks. It would be one thing if it was two, but it was barely one. So I went back and asked if they would fix them because I didn't feel it was fair that they were coming off when I had just paid. She didn't seem thrilled. She began clipping them off and sanding them down quickly. She started to file them and I asked if she would clip them back and she said no. I replied that I would pay if it was that big of a deal, so she clipped them. She then started filing them. She filed them down in different shapes and very jagged. I asked if she was going to file them more and she said no. At that point I told her I was disappointed because she was not showing me the same care she did the first time. I looked down at my nails and how bad the tips looked and I just decided to leave. She was about to paint them and I left. They were so jagged I gave my son multiple scratches while changing his diaper. I ended up filing them myself. The tops of my fingers hurt now from the way she roughly sanded them down. Maybe if you're on their good side they do a fabulous job, but God forbid you expect them to hold their work to a high standard by fixing mistakes. read more
