Literally the worst place I think I could have gone to. If I could have given it a zero i would have. I went in to get my nails removed and she literally filed my nail till it was raw and, then put my raw red nail back into acetone. I had to take it out because it hurt so bad. If I could give zero stars I would.... First of all, I went in and didn't want to do "ombré" fill. I just wanted one solid color. So he was like OK, I'll do the fill. Filled down my original ombré color that I got done to having no color at the tops at all, gave me my lime green fill and was about to send me out the door. My nails looked like BEYOND cruddy and I FLIPPED. I was like, first of all, if you couldn't do the straight color then tell me, don't you dare think you can send me out the door looking SET UP. Whatever. He called me over and I said "just a regular manicure". He proceeded to bring out the gel nail dryer. I again said regular manicure. He said okay and went to the back to get more tea.... finally he put the gel stuff away. I said "just file please" and he proceeded to cut my nails to the fullest extent & file the tops off as if I was getting tips. Not a huge surprise - he took out tips and started sizing my nails for tips! I said again, "just a regular manicure" .... when he finished my short ass nails, he took me to a FAN and said hold your nails up till they dry? No drying station or anything? .... I haven't exactly experienced anything phenomenal here to give the place 5 stars but the work done here is truly amazing, and for the prices they offer! I come here exclusively for gel manicures due to great price and quality job they do. I've had my nails done by three different manicurists and all have done wonderful jobs, hence saying this isn't one of those places that you visit and or have to set up an appointment with the same person unless that's what you like because everyone here is very capable of getting the job done and well. I can only speak to the nail job because I have only gotten my nails done here but they do waxing as well. It will be hard finding a new place to get my nails done when I leave for college. Not impressed. ESPECIALLY with this visit. I've been here before as I recently have moved to the area and had a man working there do my pedi. My experience wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. He accidentally scraped the side of my foot when he was polishing the bottom of my feet to remove calluses. He did a great job in the end. I went back two days ago and a lady did my gel mani/pedi. I will NEVER be going back. She cut me several times and it was like she was digging into my cuticles. I am still in pain even two days later. She didn't "cut" any of my fingers but they're slightly red and sore. I get my nails done regularly but haven't been in 2 months bc of surgery. This was one of the worst nail experiences I've ever had. First, the tech didn't know how to do the shape I requested from the start. Second, the sun was in my face the entire time I was there because there were no blinds. The worst of it was when I got my nails polished. I've been coming to this place for years, maybe even since they opened - but in the past few years the service has become beyond unacceptable. I make an appointment, it is never written down or confirmed. I come in for that appointment, I wait for an hour or more. If I do not make an appointment, I call to see if they're busy. When told when to come in, I still sit there & wait. For hours. Usually no less then 2. I try to be loyal due to the reasonable prices and the fact that they have done a decent job, but it's not worth it anymore. I recently came in and they started my nails at a table, only to move me to the drying space (to start someone that came in AFTER me) and made me half stand as someone finished my fill. Oh yea, and I still was asked to pay full price. Also, the powder that they use has become increasingly cheaper and does not last a full 2 weeks. They don't say no, not to anyone and that's their damage. The place is always filled with obnoxious clients with themselves playing loud things off of their phone to entertain their more obnoxious children. I cannot understand how they can treat a loyal customer this way. - Due to both bad customer service and (more recently) bad nail jobs, I don't know what I'm paying for anymore. I am never disappointed when I come here. I always schedule my appointments with Kim who only works on the weekends. When I get acrylics I expect the nail technicians to make sure the acrylic is as close to my cuticles as possible so that they last a while. I always have had issues in the past with nail technicians not listening to what exactly I want. Every time I come here my nails are perfect. They are the correct shape, we'll finished, and most of all close to my cuticles to ensure they last a while. My nail has never broken when I go to this nail salon. Every other nail salon I've been to they have broken. The waiting time is sometimes off and you might have to wait longer than you expected but if you make an appointment they will honor that time. Their prices are super reasonable! For a full set acrylic WITH GEL it's about $33. Love this place and refuse to go any where else for my nails. read more

This place just keep getting worse. I read the reviews, and tried to give them a chance, but you're better off going elsewhere. I only dealt with it for a bit, because they were close to my apartment, and were cheap. My nails are always lifting when I come here, and rarely do they get the shape correctly. It also doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not. They never seem to honor the times, and have no sense of urgency to try to get people in and out the door. they squeezed me in and accommodated me which i appreciate. and my nails looked good so i'll give them that. but when the man did my pedicure he was going too hard and hurting me, i had to stop him a few times. also something that really upset me, instead of wiping the dead skin and dirt on the towel during a pedicure like you're supposed to, he literally wiped the dirt on my foot and just waited till i put my feet in the water. instead of wiping it on the towel... so gross and infuriating. i've never experienced something like that. for my manicure, i had a design that required some line work but nothing crazy at all. the woman tried and wasn't achieving it, she also went too hard and had 2 parts of my fingers bleeding. instead i picked a solid color with no design and it looked good. but it annoys me when people cant just say they aren't able to do a design, or get another tech to do it. read more

I got my eyebrows waxed here and was very frustrated with the whole experience. Not only did the guy go straight from doing someone's nails to waxing my eyebrows WITHOUT washing his hands. He didn't even wet my eyebrows or clean the area before he started the process. He used an eyebrow brush that was not sanitized and all I could think about was how many other peoples eyebrows had touched that brush. He also used his hands to rub my eyebrows after waxing them (which everyone knows causes razor bumps). I told him I wanted to keep them thick and he insisted that what I really wanted was them to be even. I don't want a waxer who is going to tell me what I want. He should just listen and do what I say. They are MY eyebrows. Ultimately I will never go here again, and I'm reporting them to the health inspector. If I could give negative stars ,I sure would.I have been going here for a while just because it's so close to home and the prices are decent .BUT when I tell you they DO NOT honor their appointments I mean it.Ive waited over an hour before .Im loyal to my nail technicians and tip pretty decently regardless of the job they do on my nails.Ive always given them a pass and have been super understanding about waiting but NOT TODAY.yesterday I had an appointment for 5:30 pm .(mind you I had a dinner to attend FOR my bff bday at 8pm) they tell me that two people were ahead of me.Im trying to figure out how? Ok cool I say can I come back tomorrow at 2.Tina the owner said that's fine .She even insisted and had the nerve to ask me if I was for sure going to come back and wanted to take my number down.i said I would be there at 2.Mind you when I made this appt the schedule book was empty when I looked at it.Here it is 2pm the next day and you still want me to wait.Meanwhile three other people in the salon are also complaining about appointments and honoring them.I will gladly take my money and pay more for service if you'll continue to inconvenience me.I made it clear that the scheduling had nothing to do with my mistakes and that it was absolute BS because when I made the appointment no one after me or before me within the hours were ever booked.NOT COMING BACK.AND trust me all my friends may not be either. read more
