5 stars for my manicure. 3 stars for my pedicure. Made an appointment to come in and the place was packed. I waited about 5 minutes before being taken back to get my pedicure. Upgraded to get the extra 8 minute massage, which was a waste because that never happened. Pedicure itself wasn't bad, but definitely not as detailed as previously places I've been to. I'm actually really unhappy that I have to leave this review but here we go... I went to coco nails this past weekend and they scammed me. :et me start off by saying the nails look great, but I know for a fact they are not worth the price she charged me. I made an appointment with Mia for a builder gel fill, $50, and I wanted gems arranged in the shape of flowers on my nails (see attached photo). I asked her, "how much WITH the gems" but I guess she did not understand as there was a language barrier and she thought I said how much FOR the gems, to which she responded "$60". Me, thinking gems are usually an additional 10-25, said sure 60 for the fill with gems sounds good. Come to the end of the appointment she says I owe $110. I was actually shocked and I told her "you said 60" and she said "no the gems are 60" as if these are swarovski crystals on my nails. But even despite the misunderstanding why are the gems more than the nails?? Why did you only say the price of the gems?? Normally you're supposed to give the whole total when discussing the price.. The girl who was sitting next to me was getting a full acrylic set + airbrush + design + gems and she was paying $130 so I pointed to her and asked why my fill + gems was $110 in comparison. Mia wasn't really able to reply and I was feeling uncomfortable especially with other people in the salon overhearing so I decided to just pay and leave in anger. Now for some context, I am a beauty owner myself so I wanted to extend them some grace and speak to management before I run to google to leave a review. Attached is a photo of the managers response to me contacting her about receiving a partial refund or credit so that I can be charged a reasonable amount. She decided to stand by Mia's choice to charge $60 for the gems, which is more than the fill itself, and said the best she can do is give me some free rhinestones the next time I come in. So now I leave it up to you, prospective clients of Coco Nails & Spa, to decide if these gems are worth $60 and if you want to allow them to scam you, or go somewhere with nail artists that are not looking to take advantage of clients. She could have made a LOT of money off of me as I was planning to make her my new regular nail artist, but she chose to be greedy. read more

First visit after a recommendation was not satisfactory. I had a pedicure and a regular manicure on a Friday. By Saturday morning the fingernail polish was chipping. A call to the salon resulted in an appointment on Sunday for a redo on polish. When I arrived, I was told that the exact same polish had to be used or I could pay a change polish fee. I declined that. By Monday the polish was chipping. These are my nails by Tuesday. Some super pleasant nail techs and many are very talented on nail design. Unfortunately, I got a terrible pedicure. And my nail set didn't work out so well either. Standard to high prices considering the lower quality service in my experience. Tiny bathroom, no beverages offered, never directed to wash hands before or during nail services which made me feel unsanitary in comparison to every other salon I've ever been to. They should at the least offer water, and have bowls with soapy water to clean clients' hands if there are no other sinks beside the tiny bathroom sink. read more

I was told one amount at the beginning, and then somehow the total at the end was way higher with random extra charges they never mentioned. Super misleading. And then the design? Completely wrong. I asked for rounded nails, and instead they gave me almond nails that stick up in the middle, which is the exact opposite of what I wanted. I visited this nail salon on Monday, July 21, 2025, evening and had my nails done by Vivian, who did a great job. However, my overall experience was unfortunately very disappointing due to how a lost item was handled. Because of the elevated bar on the manicure table, I had to remove my Apple Watch and placed it initially on the table, then moved it to the chair next to me before I went to wash my hands. I accidentally left it behind and realized it shortly after getting home--about 10 minutes later. I immediately tried calling the salon that night to alert them, and I could see via the Find My app that my watch was still at the salon's location. The following morning around 11 a.m., I called again as I knew they would be open. I let them know I had left my Apple Watch there. After a brief hold, I was told it wasn't there. I informed the staff I would be stopping by shortly and arrived within 15 minutes. Again, I was told the watch was not there--even though Find My showed it had been at the location just four hours earlier. I insisted, and eventually, one of the other staff members went to check and found my watch right there on the same chair I had left it. While I was relieved, I left the shop feeling incredibly disappointed. This experience highlighted two major concerns: 1. Lack of thoroughness or care from staff - It appears no one actually checked the area when I called or even before I arrived. 2. Poor cleanliness or attention to customer belongings - Either the space wasn't properly cleaned the night before or in the morning, or my watch should've easily been seen by staff earlier. To make matters worse, the manager (or person in charge) treated me with skepticism, as if I was mistaken or being dishonest about where I left my property. She seemed too busy to check herself, discouraged me from checking the chair where I sat, and instead wanted to rely on reviewing cameras or playing a sound from the watch--though the watch had already died by that point. An Apple Watch is not a cheap item, and I expected much more care and accountability. I've been a returning customer here, but the way this situation was handled--especially the dismissive and unhelpful attitude--makes me feel like my loyalty and business were not valued. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I share this review so that others are aware: if you misplace something here, don't expect proactive help. You may be told it's not there--even when it is. RESPONSE to the owners message posted below. Thank you for your response, but I need to clarify that much of what you've written is not accurate. First and foremost, I never accused anyone of taking my Apple Watch. As someone who works in the legal field, I understand the importance of facts and would never make an unfounded accusation. It's disappointing that you're framing my concerns in a way that suggests otherwise. To be clear: Vivian did not answer the phone when I called -- the call was transferred to her only after I was asked who had done my nails. Additionally, the main issue here is accountability. When I called the shop shortly after realizing I had left my watch, no one took the time to thoroughly check, even though I told staff I was tracking it at your location. Had the search been handled properly from the start, this situation could have been avoided. Rather than shifting blame or rewriting the sequence of events, a sincere acknowledgment that proper procedures weren't followed would have gone a lot further in resolving this professionally. Overall a great experience! I had scheduled an acrylic set with Emily as a new client to this salon, and it was very easy to book online by myself. When you want into this salon there's a great atmosphere that feels luxurious despite being a very small salon. The music was great, it was relatively clean, they had a huge tv with a prank show on instead of news (I dont believe a news channel should be on in salons, but that's my personal opinion). Emily was very patient with me as I was very picky about the length of my nails, and she did an amazing job describing the pricing before doing the service, as well as updating me on the price throughout the service when I added the rhinestones and ombre. She did the acrylic to almost the cuticle, and when I asked her why she didn't go all the way she very kindly explained how if a tech puts acrylic all the way to the cuticle it's more likely to chip and lift faster. Overall she was excellent, but I do wish she cleaned up my cuticles and gives me a dry manicure, as that's something I expect every time I get my nails done. While I didn't get the cuticle care part of the service, I do believe the slightly lower cost reflects that nicely. The cost breakdown for me was $50 for acrylic, $10 for length, $15 for ombre, and $5 for the 6 tiny rhinestones I got. That brings my total to $80 and I tipped 25%! This place only has been here for 6months! I found this spot from the google reviews so it was only right to shout them out on here since they gave me a very great experience! I told them the last time I got my nails done was during the pandemic. First time back and just the way the treated me will have me coming back here again. The guys that worked there were talking with me and cracking jokes. That is so rare to see. Most shops the staff are not friendly. They do gel nails and have a lot of other services. The place is clean and there are so many chairs and employees ready to assist you. They said come during the weekday for walk ins but the weekends? This is an update to my original five-star review. My beloved nail technician no longer works at this salon because of her extensive commute among other things. TLDR: I do not recommend this salon, but a nail novice would, indeed, find these issues acceptable. I have kept my nails done professionally for 30 years. I have also kept a regular appointment here to maintain my natural nails with dip powder and a full service hot stone massage pedicure here since a few months after they opened. The original staff was fantastic; even throughout my twin pregnancy, they were so attentive that it as beyond refreshing and relaxing. I was actually in the salon for my regular appointment when the first wave of new people arrived for their first day. Since their arrival, it has absolutely been hit or miss and not everyone can do...most things. Now, EVERYTHING is rushed, the service is becoming poor, and the quality of work is wildly inconsistent. They've always done free repair on their work, however, I never needed them...until recently. The product has been sloppily applied, the repairs have been sloppy still, resulting in my healthy natural nails being broken one-by-one since my last appointment for no less than EIGHT NAILS. The last repair I had to make time for out of my packed schedule, I was actually still wearing the hospital bracelet after being discharged from a medical procedure that morning. The woman "in charge" at that moment was flat out rude, arrogant, and confused about the fact that I keep regular appointments and have done so longer than she's been employed there, based on what she said to me, instead of focusing on the actual fact that something of theirs, whether product or staff, is both failing and wasting my time and money; along with her communication skills completely failing us all in what is an unnecessary luxury service-based space. As for her repair, the dip powder just broke off the top of my nail, taking part of my nail with it. I was already considering no longer booking at this salon because of the following consistencies.: -They DO NOT reorder actively used and displayed colors, then continue to advertise them. -They struggle to understand what an almond shaped nail with a stiletto point is. -They have a new inability to apply product to the entire nail and NOT skip the sides or parts that they failed to view leaving BARE NAILS EXPOSED. -They DO NOT know how to properly (acknowledge and) fix their mistakes, -Nor how to manicure or just NOT DRILL MY NATURAL NAIL, -Nor even how to not overbook themselves because they don't have the required seating. However, I have now selected a new small business to support. I do not recommend this salon, but a nail novice would, indeed, find these issues acceptable. read more

He was late, I was not and he told me while drilling the sh*t out of my nail bed that he would not have time to do my scheduled pedicure or nail art design that he asked me if I wanted. I told him I was not satisfied with his customer service and that it was pointless to have booked an appointment if he was going to rush through it. I requested my nails be cut down shorter than Brian's acrylic from Family Guy, and he told me "he didn't have time for that". Boy oh boy, did I pay for only my full set and left. I am SO glad I landed here with Chris- he exceeded ALL my expectations. 1) he 'nailed' the look I was going for - not easy as I wanted clear with transparent Chrome on top. He even contributed some suggestions which then resulted in perhaps my favorite nails ever, 2) I have weirdly small nails/nail beds-Chris got the proportion's PERFECT! They look amazing; dainty even! 3) Chris worked diligently on getting the shape of each nail perfect, from every angle, Even curving them downward a bit to give them the cohesive look I adore. 4.) Importantly, the prices for everything were extremely competitive and less than my usual salon. The pedicure was also perfection! My favorite nail artists here are Peter and Emily, who do great work and are very detail-oriented. They offer really great acrylic base colors as well as gel nail colors. Their salon is generally pretty clean and comfortable. My only gripe about this place is that they are not always good with their appointments. I've shown up with an appointment and had to wait up to 45 minutes just go even get a chair. It's like that old Seinfeld episode: you know how to take an appointment, you just don't know how to hold it. It can be frustrating if you're coming in for a lunchtime nail appointment and ending up being here for over 2.5 hours. This has been happening more as their popularity has skyrocketed, so I recommend leaving a lot of time in your schedule for your visit even if you think it will only take an hour or less. read more

I am very disappointed with my service today because I paid $70 for a really short French tip set I am a loyal customer with Peter and I usually always get medium sets with designs and only pay $78 but today I chose to get something shorter because I've switched jobs and can't have them too long... even my friends agreed that this was nothing but greed and a rip off... I believe in honesty and on the website, it states $50 for full set with gel polish and $10 for French tip design so why am I paying $70 when I only should be paying 60?
