There are Fiji water bottles in the lobby but no sign by them. I wasn't sure if they were included in the cost of the appointment or cost extra so I didn't take one. Maybe if I was bolder, I wouldve inquired. They sell a number of sugar scrubs and other products that you can use after your sugaring/waxing appointment at home. At 2:30pm, a technician came out with another customer who'd just finished and greeted me after closing out her appointment. I was definitely nervous but my technician put me at ease with light conversation and music (they let you choose what music you want when you schedule your appointment). I had initially made my appointment for sugaring but I was told that my hairs were too short and that wax would work better. I was a bit disappointed because I'd read about sugaring, but happy that my technician was able to provide good advice. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected it to. I was in and out in about 45 minutes with silky smooth legs.

Unfortunately, I've had a number of service issues that made my experience difficult: * Ignored disability accommodation: I submitted a disability form outlining that I need extra time for appointments. Despite this information being on file, front desk staff consistently ignored it. Ivania always respected my needs and had the step I requested ready, but she was never given enough time to properly complete my service. When appointments ran behind, the front desk publicly blamed her in front of other customers, making me feel at fault for needing the accommodations I'd already documented. * Billing error: I was charged for a lower leg package I didn't purchase and clearly stated I didn't need. When I tried to get this corrected, staff refused to switch it to a full leg package (which is what I actually use). I now have 12 unused lower leg passes that I will never use. * Unprofessional interactions: I experienced rude and overly pushy behavior from front desk staff on multiple occasions. Ivania was professional, attentive, and made me feel valued and respected as a client. Without her, I have no reason to return. I hope you'll use this feedback to improve how you support both clients with disabilities and your dedicated staff members.

I don't know. But let me tell you a little bit more about the decision you are about to make. My first ever waxer relocated to a whole another state and I was lost for sometime. I tried to become a regular for European Wax but their service and work did not mix well with me. I am currently located at #AspenHills #Rockville and I started looking for waxers. Wanting to find a place that feels like home and a safe space to be reborn every other 4-6 weeks. When I found Magdalen's page, the reviews automatically got my attention and decided to book being that she was 13-15 min away. The BEST decision I've made all year. I had waxes before and were not that impressed. What makes Amy great is that she is VERY meticulous, she is gentle and applies pressure after she waxes a spot which I love because it soothes the immediate pain that comes with getting a Brazilian wax. Another GREAT plus is that she is very clean, her work area is clean and her materials are clean. Amy is also very friendly and accommodating. I had to reschedule my appointment five times, if not more and thankfully she worked with me and saw me. I love her she is great. Amy is a little pricy BUT worth it. In this case you get what you pay for and for an area such as this I'm willing to pay for quality work. I had to update my review after I recently got a facial with Amy. It was amazing!! I had no doubt because Amy does very nice work. I came in (on a Saturday evening) for an Acne deep pore facial and left feeling a glow, refreshed and just all around pretty. I have some breakouts but mostly dark spots left from years of acne. I came in excited because this was my first facial ever and I wanted to start working towards clearing my skin. I left feeling great and literally as I went through the week I could see my skin looking more refreshed...not to mention I felt the glow and freshness of my skin into the week even after my daily face routine. I will say it's best to get it in the evening then you can just go home and relax. I also loved that Amy messages your neck/ shoulders a little and your hands. In fact, I call him a genius because no matter what vision I bring in, whether it's a color, a style, or just a general idea, he somehow takes it to the next level and gets me exactly where I want to be. For my latest appointment, I wanted a rich, vibrant color, and he gave me a cat-eye look that I am absolutely in love with the results. The depth, shine, and dimension are stunning. The photos don't even fully capture how beautiful they look in person. The finish is flawless, and the attention to detail is unmatched. What I appreciate most is Vincent's creativity and willingness to collaborate. He listens, offers suggestions, and consistently delivers something unique and beautiful. If you're looking for innovation, quality, and someone who truly cares about their craft, Polish Nails is the place to go. Thank you, Vincent, for another set that has me staring at my nails all day long.

I just moved here and have been looking for a new nail place. I've tried a couple, and I fell in…read morelove with one, only for the nail tech I loved there to move to Texas after 2 appointments.‍ For the review: I'll start with the fact that the guy who appears to be the owner is absolutely lovely. I called to inquire about aura nails; I never do designs but my birthday is in a few days and I wanted a little extra something to feel fabulous. It's been an absolutely insane week and I rescheduled here twice. He was very accommodating and kind about my scheduling needs. Now, the less positive part: ***please note that I am only doing this review for the folks like me who take reviews really seriously and are particular about beauty-related things, specifically, in this case, nails. I have no desire to trash this place, because then were nice.*** That said, I was told that they could do the nails I wanted and I was excited based on the photos in their Yelp page. I felt really confident that they could do something I would absolutely love, specifically because their Yelp page says they do nail art and design, and whenever a salon does nail art and design, their basic nail techniques and everything else are typically great. Unfortunately that is not the experience I had today. I got an incredibly mid pedicure that actually looks 2 weeks old as I'm walking out of the salon right now. (Before leaving I told them that I did not like it, but it was late and I had to go and I could tell they were tired, which I didn't think would help my issue.) On my way out the gentleman who did my manicure (he only did my hands, not feet) told me to come back the next day to have it redone. The problem is that I don't think I have time to go back tomorrow, and frankly, I shouldn't have to. I'm sorely disappointed in a $70 pedicure looking like I did it myself. My other major issue is the color selection. I know not everybody is as maniacal about color as I am, so eat the fish and spit out the bones here. If you are pretty routine or have a basic range of colors that you're willing to try, you probably will not have an issue. I, however, am a brand designer/graphic designer and happen to be very color-sensitive. I always go to nail salons that have robust color selections because my eye can spot a vast difference between two pinks that might be right next to each other on the display. Not every color looks good on everyone's skintone, and I like what I like. It was SO challenging to find a color here that I liked and honestly I was just looking for a pink from a Pinterest photo. The sample nails that they gave me to choose from were inside of a plastic container, which 1. Dulled the color 2. Put the nails under a glare from the lights so you couldn't really see them The colors also just weren't great. It felt like a very old-fashioned selection of dip colors. When I actually did choose a color (one I only liked a little) and she went to put it on my feet, it turned out to be a COMPLETELY different color, and I'm talking maybe 20 shades different than the color that I chose and a totally different undertone. I didn't want to belabor the point because she had another customer she was rushing to try to get to that seemed to be a regular customer of hers and I didn't want to take up more of her time. But I'm really disappointed because I came here with a vision, wanting something very specific and I left with a manicure and a pedicure I wish I just had not even gotten. Honestly, my nails looked way better when I came in than when I left, which is saying a lot because both my hands and feet were nearly 3 weeks old. The only reason I didn't go back to who did them was because i was seeking nail design, and I ended up leaving with no nail design at all anyway! I feel like I flushed $140 down the drain, especially bc I will have to have this all fixed. In summary, lots of people seem to love this salon, so although I really had a two-star experience, I gave them three, because I truly think this is a matter of just not being a fit for me. Every place isn't for everyone. If you're pretty easy like Sunday morning with your nails, you should likely just ignore this. But if you are also particular about your nails like me, let this be a forewarning that this may not be the experience you're seeking. Stay beautiful, guys.

If you're looking for quality service, honest pricing, and nail technicians who genuinely care about nail health, Glamnur Beauty is the place to go. Upgraded to get the extra 8 minute massage, which was a waste because that never happened. Pedicure itself wasn't bad, but definitely not as detailed as previously places I've been to. I look forward to my pedicure massages the most. one of my toes is uneven and she should have cut it down to make it look even. I just didn't really notice till I got home. I was tired, she did a good job on my hands, but she didn't even ask if I wanted Acrylic or if I wanted gel x and all my other hands We're acrylic.. I had a disappointing experience at Yuna Nails today, despite having been a repeat customer…read more I decided to take a break from gel and scheduled builder-gel removal with a full buffing manicure, along with gel removal and a regular polish change for my toes. I was on time for my scheduled appointment. Sue performed my nail services, and by the time she finished my manicure, the regular polish on my toes was still not completely dry. The woman at the front desk, who answers the phone and processes payments, told me that my toes were still not dry but that I needed to leave wearing the salon's disposable foam slippers. She then told me that, next time, I should bring my own flip-flops. I explained that I normally receive gel services at Yuna Nails, so I had no reason to anticipate needing flip-flops. She responded, "Oh," and then immediately asked how I wanted to pay. As I was leaving, I asked how much longer the polish would need to dry. Only then did she offer to apply a drying spray. I was not comfortable walking to my car in disposable foam slippers, so I waited outside on the bench for at least 20 minutes. During that entire time, the staff remained inside the salon and did not leave. That made being rushed out while my polish was still wet feel especially unnecessary and dismissive. I was also quoted $45 when I made the appointment but was charged $65, with no explanation for the additional $20. I have regularly patronized Yuna Nails, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I would appreciate clarification regarding the charge and greater consideration for customers whose polish is not yet dry before they are asked to leave.
