They always cover the gray to my satisfaction. I initially agreed to go and decided not to. Why should I pay them a second time for something that they did not get right the first? Maybe if I was bolder, I wouldve inquired. They sell a number of sugar scrubs and other products that you can use after your sugaring/waxing appointment at home. At 2:30pm, a technician came out with another customer who'd just finished and greeted me after closing out her appointment. I was definitely nervous but my technician put me at ease with light conversation and music (they let you choose what music you want when you schedule your appointment). I had initially made my appointment for sugaring but I was told that my hairs were too short and that wax would work better. I was a bit disappointed because I'd read about sugaring, but happy that my technician was able to provide good advice. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected it to. I was in and out in about 45 minutes with silky smooth legs.

I have never written a yelp review before, so consider this a big deal that I felt the need to write one for this establishment. I have never in my life experienced a manicure so terrible. I called yesterday to make my appointment for today. The lady told me "sure" and then rushed me off the phone without even asking my name for the appointment. I showed up this morning for my appointment. A woman came to do my nails, and lets just say I have never experienced someone working at the speed she did. She was clearly in a rush and I don't think she even really cut my cuticles and nail beds, which I had specifically asked she really cut because mine are dry and grow back quickly. Im not sure what to call the shape she filed my nails into either. The polish is sloppy, corners of my nails are missing polish, there are lumps in the painting, there is polish on my fingers, etc. I haven't dealt with such unprofessionalism and poor customer service in a really long time and for that reason alone, I wouldn't return to this nail salon if it were the last one standing. There are too many other great salons in the Bethesda area. read more

I just moved in the area and gave this salon a tried. The services was done quick and wonderful. All staffs are nice and friendly. They offered me beverages and personally walked me to the service stations. My deluxe pedicure was wonderful and the massage was well executed, not sloppy jobs like other salons I have encountered. I also got the gel manicure and it looks fantastic. They offered to correct any errors within two weeks if anything happen, I hope not, but so far so good. Nail Studio, you have earn a new client, please keep this up and don't change on what you have done for me. Parking is the only issue I have at this location. There are parking garages across the street and meter parkings around their building. I am just spoil from free parking all the time, well, Bethesda what can I say. I have been attending Nail Studio since I first moved to Bethesda, roughly about two years ago. I instantly felt comfortable walking in as I noticed the cleanliness of their work space, and the employees that are always happy to great you. Nancy the owner is always working hard to make sure all clients are taken care of and given nothing but the best service from their expert team. Every service I have received at NailStudio has been nothing but perfect. I am so impressed with their services and I have referred many friends and family who all have been equally pleased. Just awful. The pedicure service took a total of 20 mins. This was not worth the $27 I paid for it. The massage was pathetic and the color on my nails looks like it's chipping, and I've only had the paint on it for about an hour. Not to mention I now have mysterious red bumps on my feet (maybe because of the dirty and faded pedicure towel that they used to wipe my feet). I get pedicures at least every 3 weeks and I usually go somewhere else but they were booked so I came here and I regret it enormously. Oh and added "bonus" was my nail technician... Who kept stopping my pedicure to text and check her phone. Will NEVER come back here again. Save your money. read more

The BEST nail salon in the area. I have tried a few in DC and nothing compares. My nails always look amazing and it lasts! I go often for regular manicures and it usually lasts a week and a half. They have a good nail polish selection but it could be better- my only complaint! Parking is easy in the evenings- there is a nearby street with free 2 hour parking but if you go in the morning or afternoon you will have to pay $2 for a metered spot for an hour. If you are going for a pedicure go with Lucy, I have a surgery scar on my ankle that hurts when people touch it but she did so well i didn't even notice she was touching it. Love it so much, definitely returning. I also got a manicure by bee she literally copy and pasted the nail I wanted they are so good and exactly what I wanted. the vibe was calming and welcoming u don't feel pressured to anything. I called to inquire about aura nails; I never do designs but my birthday is in a few days and I wanted a little extra something to feel fabulous. It's been an absolutely insane week and I rescheduled here twice. He was very accommodating and kind about my scheduling needs. Now, the less positive part: ***please note that I am only doing this review for the folks like me who take reviews really seriously and are particular about beauty-related things, specifically, in this case, nails. I have no desire to trash this place, because then were nice.*** That said, I was told that they could do the nails I wanted and I was excited based on the photos in their Yelp page. I felt really confident that they could do something I would absolutely love, specifically because their Yelp page says they do nail art and design, and whenever a salon does nail art and design, their basic nail techniques and everything else are typically great. Unfortunately that is not the experience I had today. I got an incredibly mid pedicure that actually looks 2 weeks old as I'm walking out of the salon right now. (Before leaving I told them that I did not like it, but it was late and I had to go and I could tell they were tired, which I didn't think would help my issue.) On my way out the gentleman who did my manicure (he only did my hands, not feet) told me to come back the next day to have it redone. The problem is that I don't think I have time to go back tomorrow, and frankly, I shouldn't have to. I'm sorely disappointed in a $70 pedicure looking like I did it myself. My other major issue is the color selection. I know not everybody is as maniacal about color as I am, so eat the fish and spit out the bones here. If you are pretty routine or have a basic range of colors that you're willing to try, you probably will not have an issue. I, however, am a brand designer/graphic designer and happen to be very color-sensitive. I always go to nail salons that have robust color selections because my eye can spot a vast difference between two pinks that might be right next to each other on the display. Not every color looks good on everyone's skintone, and I like what I like. It was SO challenging to find a color here that I liked and honestly I was just looking for a pink from a Pinterest photo. The sample nails that they gave me to choose from were inside of a plastic container, which 1. Dulled the color 2. Put the nails under a glare from the lights so you couldn't really see them The colors also just weren't great. It felt like a very old-fashioned selection of dip colors. When I actually did choose a color (one I only liked a little) and she went to put it on my feet, it turned out to be a COMPLETELY different color, and I'm talking maybe 20 shades different than the color that I chose and a totally different undertone. I didn't want to belabor the point because she had another customer she was rushing to try to get to that seemed to be a regular customer of hers and I didn't want to take up more of her time. But I'm really disappointed because I came here with a vision, wanting something very specific and I left with a manicure and a pedicure I wish I just had not even gotten. Honestly, my nails looked way better when I came in than when I left, which is saying a lot because both my hands and feet were nearly 3 weeks old. The only reason I didn't go back to who did them was because i was seeking nail design, and I ended up leaving with no nail design at all anyway! I feel like I flushed $140 down the drain, especially bc I will have to have this all fixed. In summary, lots of people seem to love this salon, so although I really had a two-star experience, I gave them three, because I truly think this is a matter of just not being a fit for me. Every place isn't for everyone. If you're pretty easy like Sunday morning with your nails, you should likely just ignore this. But if you are also particular about your nails like me, let this be a forewarning that this may not be the experience you're seeking. Stay beautiful, guys.

My 4th grade class gave me a very generous $150.00 gift certificate in January 2026 for Teacher Appreciation Day. But after a mani/pedi in April and a pedicure this morning, I have now paid $73.00 out of pocket. How, you ask? Yes, it actually stymies me, too. Well, first, I had to leave a $45.00 deposit when I made the appointment online. After receiving the service, I was charged the full amount for a mani/pedi on my gift certificate. Why, you ask? Because they "forgot" that I used my own credit card for a deposit. My gift certificate amount was adjusted online on their end. Okay, so they have access to my gift certificate on their end. No problem. Makes total sense! Fast forward to this morning. After leaving a $9.00 deposit when I made my appointment online, I was charged $28.00 for the pedicure I had this morning. Since they were able to access my account online back in April, I believe they would be able to access it this morning to charge me the $28.00 I owed for the pedicure. Nope! I was told they needed the actual gift certificate, or the certificate number. Of course, I did not have it with me. A small notebook was pushed towards me with the suggestion, "You can look through this to find the number of your gift certificate." Really?!? As if!!! So, as it stands now, my online account shows a higher amount than the certificate in my possession, which was signed by "Yada" or "Yoda" (the signature is illegible, but it is dated April 10th). Given my experience with the outfit after two unsuccessful visits, who are they going to believe? My online account, which they seem able to access only when it's to their advantage, or the physical gift certificate, which shows a smaller balance than my online account, which they are now mysteriously unable to access. Get it together, Eva Lash! Also, the Yelp website says I'm San Franciso. I'm now. Never been there. This is for the Bethesda Eva Lash location.

I didn't care that much about the shape but then I started getting a horrible rash. It is also 18$ when any other place will be 15$ or under. It should not be 18$ to not be happy with the shape of your eye brows and then have a horrible rash.

The salon is very bright and airy and feels very welcoming. I got the quick shoot pedicure, which is just their basic pedicure for $37. It was definitely a quick service. I feel that the quality could have been so much better. She only gave me one coat of paint and it didn't even cover the entire nail in some areas. The cuticle cutting was done poorly. I have cuticle skin sticking out on a lot of my toes.
