Ms. Daila is wonderful. She was able to fit me in for 3 appointments before my wedding at the very last minute. From the first visit, there was noticeable improvement (even my mom noticed!) and my skin continued to improve over each visit. She is also very knowledge, explaining my skin type and various other issues, and providing recommendations based on her findings. Ms. Daila facility is also very nice with a great atmosphere, and she makes you feel really comfortable. I would highly suggest giving her a try, she gives you spa quality treatment for a fraction of the price. 10/10 - Highly Recommended read more

I found Dalias skincare after doing much research for facials in the DMV area. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm smile and a calming spa atmosphere. Mrs. Dalia is extremely knowledgeable about different skin types and treatments, and she takes the time to match the right products to your skin's needs. I brought my teenage daughter for a facial, and she was so gentle and attentive with her. She recommended the right products for her acne, and we've already seen such a big improvement. It feels great to receive such high-quality, personalized care from a small business owner instead of a big chain. Her prices are great, and her spirit, expertise, and professionalism truly shine through. read more

Dalia is very knowledgeable and gives incredible facials! My early 60s skin looks glowing and never irritated even after a facial and extractions! She uses Demalogica products which smell wonderful and are never irritating. I also get my eyebrows waxed and they've never looked better! Dalia is lovely and no high-pressure product sales. She's very caring and the personal service is wonderful!! read more

I've been going to Dalia for facials for over a year. I leave with my face glowing every time. She takes her time and makes sure she gets all of my blackheads. Her space is relaxing, quiet, and inviting. I always feel so comfortable and have even fallen asleep during my session. read more

Been going here regularly for waxing for the last 6 months. One, prices are very reasonable compared to others in the area. She does not rush and takes her time. Very professional and listens to your concerns. She even tries to get the stubborn hairs that don't get removed from waxing. I recently had a facial which was great, and good pricing. However I have very very sensitive skin so there was some irritation for a day but disappeared the next day. Skin looks glowing, less congested and dehydrated. 4/5 because parking can be a bit annoying. read more

"Dalia has been my skin saver! From my teenage years through my early twenties, I struggled with stubborn acne. But thanks to Dalia's incredible facials and expert advice, my skin is clear, smooth, and glowing! I use her product recommendations daily (special cleansing gel and skin smoothing cream) which has been keeping my skin on clear. If you're looking for a skincare expert, look no further than Dalia. read more

Came for a signature facial and I left having the softest cleanest feeling skin. She even included hands and feet massage! I love the decor which makes you feel like you are at the beach. She was very kind and informative. I will definitely come back! read more

Dalia was the sweetest woman ever. I was visiting my family in the area, but I usually get waxed in ATL & LA, and this was the best wax I've ever had. She was so meticulous, super kind, great to talk to, made me feel super comfortable. She was great with my sensitive skin and really listened to how I was feeling. She took really good care, and when she was done she asked if I could take a double look to make sure everything was spotless. It genuinely was the cleanest nicest wax I've had... and at that, such an amazing price. I would 100% recommend her to my friends. She was so kind, personable, and complimentary. We need to support local businesses! And especially in the Gaithersburg area, this is the best person to go to. Shockingly cheap for shockingly good service read more

Dalia's is very nice and welcoming highly recommend! I had a great experience.. I will be coming next time for sure!

Dalia is an amazing woman and very sweet and does a phenomenal job at what she does. I appreciate how much knowledge she knew and was ready to share with me. For my first facial it was wonderful and my skin was glowing. The only thing I wish I would have had product advice of drugstore products or a list to choose from rather than one she sells from dermalogica bc it wasn't in my budget. But my friends have noticed the change in my skin read more

Excellent and speedy service for getting my upper legs waxed. Pain was minimal. Was very detailed about removing every inch of hair.

Finding a good facialist is almost hard as finding a good boyfriend. You're looking for someone you can trust, depend on, and most of all- to be able to honestly give you the good AND the bad. Since I have problems getting the latter, at least I can say I've found the former! Dalia is kind of like the Israeli mother I never had. She's sweet, caring, and incredibly considerate. She works out of her home but don't let that fool you into thinking she's not professional. She's has over 21 years of professional experience and not only does she do facials, she also waxes. Talk about a one-stop-shop. Her place is large, clean and she certainly knows what she's doing. You're never going to find prices like hers and I love that she can only take one customer at a time. Truly allows for more "face" time. No pun intended. Enjoy! read more

I went to Dalia's to get my Brazilian wax done. This wasn't my first time getting it done and all I can say is that Dalia was amazing! She made everything quick and painless as possible compared to other places I've been to. Everything feels so smooth now and I absolutely love it! Right when I saw her, she greeted me warmly and lead me down into her basement where she had all of her spa/waxing things set up. I admit, I was a little shy at first but she was so sweet and patient with me so I became less nervous and less tense. Her prices are great and she's a professional. She's been doing this over 22 years now so she knows what she's doing. I'm definitely going to come here again whenever I'm in town to get waxed or maybe even a facial next time. read more

I was really hoping to like her but no luck. I gave her two stars because 1) it was fairly close to me (so it's a relative) and 2) it was affordable with the deal. After reading the reviews, I was prepared for a home based setting. I've always struggled with my skin and have been to expensive spas that did not help much but have also been to many facialists and estheticians in less than spa-like settings that worked wonders, so I wasn't about to let appearances stop me. I bought a yelp deal which was supposed to go for 75 minutes. She shorted me 12 minutes. First, the steamer kept spewing hot water on my arm. She never asked if the temperature was okay for my face either. To cleanse, she used a little hand held brush and ran circles over my face while telling me my Clarisonic was not good because it caused my skin to produce more oils. She used Dermalogica and seemed surprised when I said I've used them before. The face massage was rough and she kept pulling my skin downwards instead of up. (You know when you get a face massage, they gently lift your skin towards your hairline in an upwards motion?) Next, extractions were clumsy. I even asked her to be thorough because I had an event the following weekend and really needed my skin de-gunked but she only did my nose. Afterwards, I could still see little blackheads present. She asked me which brands I used for my regime. I told her I used Boscia cleansing oil... She had no idea what that was. Then I asked her for her recommendations about skin getting accustomed to medicated products and the best way to keep my skin clear. She said she had never heard of skin doing that and I should just stick to Dermalogica because they often changed their formulations so I won't have that problem. Hm... I may not know about skin care like her 20 something years, but I'm not convinced she really knew what she was saying either. The experience was really disappointing and I would not use her again, even at the discounted price. Though I tipped her (just because I'm just used to tipping after a service) but felt really bad after I left and saw my skin in natural lighting... it still looked clogged, oily, and dirty. Later, I bought a $28 Olay microderm and peel... and guess what... it did a better job of cleaning. What a waste of my money and time. I wish I could get a refund. My search continues... If anyone has suggestions for an affordable, good facialist, please share! read more

I went to Dalia's for about a year but have since stopped. Every time I would go for a wax she would point out my acne prone skin, which I am fully aware of. I did not enjoy being pressured into "needing a dermatologica facial" every time I got a wax. She would point out my active breakouts like I didn't know they were there. It's not worth it anymore to be paying monthly for a wax, to just go and be pressured into buying a facial. I understand she wants my skin to improve but I tried to explain to her I am trying other things before getting a chemical treatment. Don't get me wrong, the waxes are okay and are at a decent price, I just don't believe it is worth it to me anymore to subject myself to more criticism. read more

I love how flexible Dalia is with scheduling. I've been able to call the day of and she has always been able to squeeze me in. Came in recently for an hour long European facial. Received treatment for the entire hour and got all my blackheads removed and I have no complaints. Dalia ensured I was comfortable the entire time, and had two space heaters nearby so I stayed warm underneath the sheets. I did not feel pressured to buy any skincare products. I left with my face feeling renewed and extremely satisfied. I look forward to booking with Dalia for another facial. read more

My first time there, this is my review" Great job on brazilian wax!! Made it as painless as possible and it was my first time waxing down there too! It took only 10 min and she did a great job! It hurt for only a sec everytime she ripped it off. The advil I took beforehand did nothing (I was very nervous for my first brazilian), but a little pain builds tolerance for next time! I did feel awkward the first time but Dalia having done it many times, made me feel less awkward." The next couple times I went there I still feel the same way. Dalia is very personable and she takes care of her clients. She gives me tips each time so it hurts less and she keeps on talking with me each time even though we did not know each so well, so that I focus less on the pain. She does a good job, her brazilian wax leaves me clean for a month with only a couple hairs grown back. As long as I'm in the area, I see no need to go to any other waxer. read more

I have been going to Dalia's for years. to have my legs waxed and have sent her client for facials. Over the years, I noticed that less hair grow on my legs after regular waxeing. For $30 and less than 20 minutes you can have smooth and shiny legs. I highly recommend Dalia and her services, it is much better than using chemicals or shaving. read more

Very painful Brazilian wax. It was my first time so I could imagine it's like that. I really did not like that she used a pin to pull the hair so I asked to stop. She used wax and a cloth strips to wax. She is a polite loving lady but I'm going to try elsewhere for a Brazilian wax. read more

Awesome facial! Very afforadable for students too. Dalia is very informative and knows what she's doing. My skin was a little red afterwards but thats from all the pimple-popping and dirt removal. No pain no gain people! Other than that my skin is as smooth as a baby's bottom. I have very sensitive skin but this was amazing. Will go back to get her next month. Must make appointments though, so remember to call first. read more

I am so glad that I found Dalia! I have been going to her for 3-4 months, and the service she provides can't be beat! I have gone for both leg, bikini and Brazilian waxing. Dalia is fantastic!! I've been a client of hers for several years now, and she never disappoints. She's nice, cordial, sweet, helpful and, most importantly, highly professional. She's set up her beauty studio in the basement of her home, which is spotless, nicely decorated and quite relaxing. I normally go to Dalia for waxing, and one can tell she's perfected her technique. She's efficient, she works quickly but thoroughly, she's both careful and attentive to every detail, and her skincare expertise is hard to top. She knows what she's doing and she knows how to cater to her clientele based on their preferences and needs. Her pricing is quite competitive as well. Stop by Dalia's for a day of beauty and pampering; you'll be happy you did! =D read more

Dalia is an absolute gem! This was my second time coming to visit her for a Brazilian and foot reflexology. The waxing went seamlessly and with minimal amounts of discomfort. Given how thick my hair is and how deep the roots tend to be, I was surprised that everything went smoothly. She joked and talked through the process to help keep my mind off of it. Dalia was diligent, yet tender. As for the foot reflexology. It was a 30 minute time to relax with peaceful music playing in the background and the lights off. Her prices are reasonable, she's in a great location, and definitely worth checking out! read more

For reference sake, I got a Brazilian and Full Leg Wax. Dalia had a deal on Yelp that I bought to try it out. I wasn't that impressed.. I was excited about the prices but it was a little unprofessional. She was not personable, and made the situation more awkward than it already is. The salon is in her basement, so we walked through her house, down the stairs, and then when we got down there, she just stood there waiting for me to undress in the middle of the room, without giving any direction. I didn't feel welcomed or at ease at all. On top of that, it was painful, and this was not my first time getting waxed. I don't know that the cheap prices were worth it. I'm looking for somewhere else to get waxed. read more

The most amazing facial I've ever had! Dalia is super personable and will customize the treatment to your needs. Great facials and foot reflexology services. Dalia is welcoming and warm, take her time and provides great customer service. This was my second time coming for a Facial and foot reflexology. Her prices are extremely competitive and she uses high quality products. Definitely recommend! I will be back!!! read more

I was referred to Dalia's Skincare and admit I was not sure what to expect. I was however pleasantly surprised. I appreciated her professionalism and was impressed with her skincare knowledge. Because I had no idea which of her many skin treatments to try, she suggested one based on my current skincare regimen which is very simple. At 46 years of age it has not escaped me they my skin looks tired; the elasticity and glow are gone. She provided a full consultation and shared with me what she observed. Based on her assessment, she suggested I try the 1-hour Hydrating Facial. She walked me through the entire facial, explaining what she was doing, and the skincare application/product she was using. The hour passed quickly but when I touched my face I was shocked at the difference in the texture of my skin, and when she gave me a mirror I was actually stunned. My skin was dewy and glowing. I looked so much younger and knew I found something that works for me. Of course, I asked how I could keep my skin looking this way. Dalia sat with me and shared more skincare knowledge. She explained the products she uses-- a professional line of skincare called Dermalogica. Honestly, I never heard of it but what really impressed me was she only recommended those skincare items she thought would be simple enough for me to use on a daily basis. It was perfect to replace my current skincare regimen. I purchased only what she recommended and there was no attempt to oversell products. She briefly demonstrated how to use each of the skincare items I purchased and offered that should I have any questions or need more guidance, to give her a call. read more

Absolutely my best experience with getting a brazilian. I am a MD resident that attended school in Ohio for the past two years. Dalia's brazilians stood out so much that I refused to go anywhere in Ohio and would try to schedule my visits home around my need for a wax. She is incredibly personable while also being extremely professional. She is very attentive to your needs and it is obvious that she does all that is in her ability to make your experience and service exceptional. I am glad to finally be back in town and have Dalia a few minutes away :) Definitely go! I can also say that her eye brow waxing is great as well. I'm extremely picky about my eyebrows and shes wonderful at keeping my eyebrows full. read more

It's my first time getting Brazilian wax and Dalia made me not want to ever get it done again. My friend and I went and we got there the place was decent. She operates in her basement and it's pretty spacious. She told me to take my bottoms off and I expected a cover but there was NONE. It was so painful and she went over the same spot 4 to 5 times. When I was done she applied some lotion and she said it will prevent it from burning and ingrown hair. I thought that was normal because it was my first time. My friend went after and she gets waxed regularly and she didn't let Dalia finish she just wanted to leave. Meantime while I was waiting for my friend, I was so uncomfortable because of the lotion. I went to the bathroom and I had so much wax left and some tissue stuck in there. It was so GROSS!!!! When we got to the car I told my friend that I will never ever get Brazilian ever again and she said it was the most horrible experience she ever had for the 5 years that she's been getting waxed. I got home that night and went to shower and my "thing" was so red and irritated and burnt! We think that the reviews in yelp were all fake so don't waste your money! Go to someone else! read more

Excellent service! I keep coming back to Dalia for the Brazilian wax and today I tried out the under arm wax. It was quick and virtually painless!
