Short version: Judy gave me the best massage of my entire life…read more Long version: It's all in the details with this massage. I got a 50 minute massage, and Judy made sure to ask what I felt comfortable with beforehand and if I had any problem areas. During the massage I got warm pillows on my back, a heated massage bed, and when it was time to be on my stomach, something to cover my eyes, a warm neck pillow, AND the bed was adjusted for maximum comfort. All that being said, Judy used pressure in ways that got the knots out but didn't make me want to cry. She used multiple techniques (fingers/arm/etc??) at the same time so there were different pressures and feels as the massage went on. I have no idea how to explain it but she has magic hands! Trust me!

Stay far away from Glenda. If you have any preferences or requests…read moreshe will do the opposite. She hides behind what she is "feeling" which ends up being what she doesn't feel like doing. She will interrupt the services with her own thoughts; it's all about her. I seriously think she has a personality problem, since I made the mistake of going to her twice (once years ago, and then last week - oops.) When I asked her why she did not even touch the right side of my body, the side I spoke to her about before the session and what brought me in, she said she sensed that "I" wasn't ready. That's gaslighting. Apparently some passive aggressive action, too. She said "3 sessions kept coming into my mind" and wanted to string me along to keep coming back to finally actually get touched on that side of my body. I can't believe I paid for this kind of abuse. Emotional and frankly physical. Can't believe she thinks she can masquerade behind this flimsy excuse. Please, if you are feeling vulnerable and need body work do not go to this possessed person, because she will pounce on your vulnerability in a narcissistic fever. Stay away!

For example she gave me some novel tips on working out the knots myself and even recommended some great affordable yoga places when I mentioned my interest in that. She also told me about their therapist that specializes in really deep massage too. The massage itself was great too with good deep pressure and she hit some spots that most massage therapists in the past haven't gotten as well. I bought a five pack of massages (never expires and can share with your girlfriend/spouse and you save $10 per 60 minute massage over the normal $90) given the great experience. Had a massage from Cheryl (owner) a few months back too; very good massage but lighter pressure than Shannon was able to do and not quite as much awesome info but would still recommend her.

I had a very bad reaction to the COVID jab that has left me with some musculoskeletal and vascular diseases that cause a great deal of pain and inflammation throughout my body. Li is an expert at lymph node drainage. After a few 80 minute sessions, my pain is relieved and I'm once again able to walk for 10 minutes at a time. Li assessed my specific issues and tailored my massage accordingly. Thanks to Li, much of my inflammation has dissipated and that has helped me walk again without some form of assistance. So thanks again Li, you're kind-hearted and knowledgeable.

*Part 2 Of 2* 12/15/24…read moreThe Massage Experience: Once ready, I climbed on to the massage table and waited for Mei to enter the room. Mei started with my neck and worked her way down to my back. I remember her doing things differently than other massage therapists. I liked how Mei layered the massage cream onto my skin without seeming to remove her hands from my body. I liked this style of hers. It felt great the way she did it. I will be sure to request her again for a two hour session. While Mei massaged my shoulders and back, her method of massage was mainly her forearms and elbows. While my right shoulder was sore from tension, she did help relieve a good amount of pain. Mei's forearm on my gluteus maximus wasn't bad, but her elbow on my glutes was too strong. I asked Mei to use her hands and fingers more. She did not fully understand what I was saying, so used a method in American Sign Language called Classifiers, to help her understand. I simply used my own hands on my glutes and demonstrated massaging my backside with hands and fingers. Mei got the message and got down to business. Mei learned too that I am not one for hot stone massage. Now that I am saying this, why do I think someone might say "John, you know hot stone massage might help your right shoulder." Maybe, Should Be, Could Be or Would Be, I will try it out next time I get a massage in September. Mei did a good job on my body, but most of the massage was focused on the area with the most amount of tension . By the time Mei finished massaging my legs, my 90 minutes were almost up. Mei finished off my massage with a foot massage using petroleum jelly and suave lotion. This method seemed to make my feet less greasy. This is a good thing considering I was wearing tevas. Mei used a hot towel to get any leftover residue off my feet so I wouldn't slip and slide. I left a decent tip for Mei. I will definitely come back here again, but next time I will make an appointment so she will be available. I recommend trying this place out. The prices are fair and you get your money's worth too. If you wish to get a private room, it is better that you call and make an appointment. 90 minutes is great, but to get the Full Monty, two hour or three is your best bet. Needful Things-In Case You Didn't Know: Since there is a good side of things. I am compelled to express my concerns on things I saw while getting my massage. When I spoke about the massage table being too close to the doorway/curtain area, I wasn't kidding. Since I do not like putting my face in the hole of the massage table, I noticed the curtain move and a person's face appeared in the gap. After the person and I locked eyes, the person quickly moved away and the curtain resumed it previous position. Invasion of privacy is not welcome. This is not the first time I have experienced something like this. I let it go. Possible mistake?! Maybe. My body started to relax again, when I saw the curtain open back up again. This is when I was on my back this time around. The same scenario played out again. My mind started thinking a sign of some kind should go up letting staff know the room is occupied. If this continues to happen, people might start refusing to pay for invasion of privacy. I let the second intrusion slide as well, but there will not be another one without consequences. Please put a sign up letting others know the room is in use. Apparently curtains closed isn't an indication the room is in use.
