I got a 50 minute massage, and Judy made sure to ask what I felt comfortable with beforehand and if I had any problem areas. During the massage I got warm pillows on my back, a heated massage bed, and when it was time to be on my stomach, something to cover my eyes, a warm neck pillow, AND the bed was adjusted for maximum comfort. All that being said, Judy used pressure in ways that got the knots out but didn't make me want to cry. She used multiple techniques (fingers/arm/etc??) at the same time so there were different pressures and feels as the massage went on. I have no idea how to explain it but she has magic hands! I am a deep tissue massage client. Angela not only asked me about my areas of need, she also guided me through the process, step by step as she kneaded my joints, muscles, tendons, and performed firm, but gentle range of motion tests. Her assessment included tips on how to remedy/alleviate the tension in those areas. However, there was minimal talking, only when necessary. The soft music and dimmed lights were perfect for maximum relaxation. I could go on and on singing the praises of Massage Crystal and team! I have added these visits to my wellness regimen - and am taking Angela's advice! All three of us had strong masseuses who gave very good deep tissue massage. If you are new to massage, you might want to choose a lighter massage option as the pressure can be very intense and sometimes painful if you're not used to it. Misa was quiet during the massage which I appreciated, and she did check in twice about the pressure. She use hot towels to clean off the oil used for a massage after which I appreciated. They also set a timer for the massage so that you know you're getting your full time. This is a new massage parlor, opened about six months ago. The inside is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is spotless and the rooms are decorated impeccably. The bathroom was large and clean. They even provide free beverages. Prices were very reasonable at $75 for a one hour massage. You can purchase gift cards, but must do so in person. It would be nice if they made an online option. It was easy to book appointments, and they were flexible about changing to individual rooms versus a couples room. You can even have three people in a room, apparently. If you book more than two appointments at once, they do ask for a $60 deposit. I highly recommend this massage salon!

It is also very quiet and the privacy factor allowed me to relax much faster than in a busy spa. The massage felt like a blend of many techniques. The intensity of the pressure fluctuated to match the needs of different areas of my body and she performed stretches on my legs, which would have been worth the money alone.
