Short version: Judy gave me the best massage of my entire life. Long version: It's all in the details with this massage. I got a 50 minute massage, and Judy made sure to ask what I felt comfortable with beforehand and if I had any problem areas. During the massage I got warm pillows on my back, a heated massage bed, and when it was time to be on my stomach, something to cover my eyes, a warm neck pillow, AND the bed was adjusted for maximum comfort. All that being said, Judy used pressure in ways that got the knots out but didn't make me want to cry. She used multiple techniques (fingers/arm/etc??) at the same time so there were different pressures and feels as the massage went on. I have no idea how to explain it but she has magic hands! I always prefer supporting small business over corporate and larger businesses. Therefore that's why we picked Tailored Relaxation in the because sometimes larger businesses tend to be less customer oriented. To my extreme disappointment, it was not the case here. I can attest that my friend (whom was in the same room) was not asked how the experience was during her massage. It was so painful during one point I made a comment, however things did not change. I also attempted to contact the owner before writing a review to give them a chance to resolve it because this is a small business and I really did not want to list a bad rating. As you all can see, the owner still insisted in the comment that it was the customers fault for discrepancies in the fine print despite the voucher saying that the merchant should honor the terms of the voucher in the image provided below. We will never be returning to tailored relaxation and will not recommend this place. There are plenty of other small businesses in the area to support. read more

I visited Tailor Relaxation (TR) last week and received excellent service. The spa was very clean and it was evident that there are routine sanitization cycles happening, so I felt safe. I am huge on cleanliness practices and they checked all the boxes. The service I received was the new CBD body scrub and it was a life changing experience. I almost never review things but was so impressed by my massage with Elisa that I needed to sing her praises. My husband bought me a 75 min massage as a gift and chose this place based on a couple good reviews he had seen. Though we live nearby, Ive never noticed the spot but GPS brought me right to it. The studio is in a big brick office building with a large parking lot, so points right away for not having to worry about finding a spot or paying a meter. I arrived 10 minutes early, but Elisa was there and opened the door right away. She told me she had been reading my intake form (a huge plus because I swear some therapists don't). I noticed right away the cozy feel of the place, which was a contrast to the ugly building it is in. It was clear that someone paid attention to detail when setting it up. Elisa led me to my room and gave me time to undress. The massage table was nicely made up and there were extra hair ties and combs on a small table, along with a jewelry tray. The bed was also already heated and I was super comfy before we even started the massage. Elisa came in, covered my eyes with a mask, and got to work. It was immediately clear that she is very knowledgeable and skilled in her trade. She used a good amount of pressure and felt her way to the problem areas largely without me directing her. Though I had paid for a regular massage, she used a number of deep tissue techniques since she recognized quickly that's what I really needed. She made sure to check in to make sure she wasn't pushing too hard (she wasn't - I like and need a lot of pressure) and asked a few questions just to be sure she was gravitating to the right problem areas (she was). When she finished, I noticed a significant difference in my back and neck. And though my legs probably need more work, the tension is definitely lessened. Elisa spent another few minutes with me afterward and suggested some stretches to help me work the area on my own. She was so friendly and professional, and most importantly a truly skilled massage therapist. I would recommend her to anyone, and especially to people like me who need actual work done. Wow - Monica is magic! I have been struggling to find a great massage since my usual massage therapist moved out of the area, and I have finally found it! My upper back and shoulders is my biggest problem area, and I always ask massage therapists to focus on that section, devoting most of the time to it. It never really happens. When I ask Monica to spend 90% of the massage on that area, however, that is exactly what she does. AND DOES IT SO WELL. She understands the human body and intuitively knows what you need. I have this one target problem spot that I almost considered marking with a sharpie for past massage therapists who couldn't find it -- Monica pinpointed it immediately without me even mentioning it. I cannot say enough good things about her technique -- she just gets it. You never want it to end. Monica is a calming presence, and checks in to make sure the pressure is ok but otherwise lets you peacefully enjoy the soothing experience. There is gentle music playing, and you are offered several different options for aromatherapy scents if you want it. There is also a tray with iced lemon water and chocolate in the room for you. The prices are fair, and there is almost always a special. Monica even told me about a special I didn't know about when I was about to pay full price -- that is some really great customer service. I work out regularly 5x a week, and I have been looking for a good massage therapist who can loosen me up without breaking me down too much. And after just one session, I can say that Monica is one of the best. Great pressure, but not so much that I felt like my muscles were beat up.
