Overall, this experience was very disappointing, and I hope steps are taken to address both the quality of service and the billing issue.

Y&C Spa is located right in the middle of the Kentlands where there is plenty of parking available and more importantly many restaurant/stores nearby for your convenience. I will definitely be back soon, you should try Y&C Spa, it will be one of the best massage experiences!

It's a daily slog keeping your joints well looked in your 60s and the deep tissue massage from Diana will now be included in my fitness routine going forward!

I most recently received a hot stone and the following month a Swedish massage. They were both very relaxing experiences. The masseuse Sunny is very considerate, she does multiple check ins throughout the visit, and is very good at her craft. Their prices ate comparable to others in the area. I would recommend this spa for those in the area or any of the others I mentioned above.

I love this place. Mary Beth is so good at what she does. Every visit she finds out how my body…read moreis feeling and adjusts her treatment accordingly. She also selects the essential oils based on what's going on in my life, which I appreciate a lot. My favorite thing about massages from Mary Beth is how her sense of touch and knowledge of anatomy combine to make her seem almost magic in getting tense muscles to release. Massage is relaxing but it's also therapeutic when it's done right, and it is definitely done right here. I also really like the convenience of the online scheduling. If I'm having a hard day at work I can just pop onto the web site and sign up for a session. Yay. (I haven't had massages from any of the other massage therapists here, but given Mary Beth's standards I'm sure they're worth trying out.) I tried this place out 8 months ago even though it had no Yelp reviews, and I've been coming here ever since. It just occurred to me today to add a review here. Unfortunately I'm moving out of state so I'm going to have to find a new massage therapist soon. Sigh.

I remember walking in and specifically asking for walk on the back to be included, and Vivian spent a generous amount of time doing exactly that, right from the start! The rest of the body was included as deep tissue hand massage, and overall I walked away feeling very refreshed with just the right amount of soreness to know that some healthy things were happening in my body. As a fitness professional in the area, I can't emphasize enough the importance of massage for optimizing your stress and recovery balance. If you want to look and feel healthier, stronger, and sexier, do yourself a favor and make massage therapy a regular part of your lifestyle. The frequency will obviously depend on your schedule and budget, but going for total body massage once or twice a month from a place like this will work MIRACLES in your life, if you make it a priority. Highly recommended and very professional! Thanks and shout out to Vivian for a positive first time experience.
