Today was my second time visiting Linda's Nails. First visit went well, staff was pleasant and I was pleased with my gel pedicure. Today was different, I noticed they now have a tablet for checking in. Instantly, I completed the prompts and added the service I wanted and sat down. There were two employees that saw me come in yet did not speak to me. I continued to wait. Then two customers came in where they were greeted. They too wanted pedicures and were told to pick a color while their chair was being prepared. I continued sitting, 10 minutes past. After confirming the two ladies that came in after me were about to get serviced I get up and speak to someone, basically letting them know that I checked in, haven't been spoken to and was here for a gel pedicure. The lady told me it would be a 10 minute wait. Respectfully, I told her how I have already been waiting 10 minutes then proceeded to tell her to take me off the list. I'm disappointed because a simple greeting would have gone a long way. It was nowhere near busy until the ladies came in after me. If I'm going to pay for a service it's going to be to an establishment that provides good customer service. I have included photos. I have been coming to Linda's Nails since April and I have always had my nails done by Chloe and I've never had a bad set. I get the gel polish and it is the only time that I have not had my nails chip or peel after a couple of days. I make an appointment and I am always seen right when I get there if not earlier. I can not recommend Chloe enough to anyone looking for long lasting gel. read more

So the only reason why they get one star is because they were nice. But if you don't know how to do some thing you shouldn't promote it. I was in the chair for over an hour and a half and my nails turned out horrible. They're thick and blocky and the shape is horrible. I definitely don't recommend. I had gone for the very first time in July of 2017. Brian helped me out, did an amazing job. All nails long the way I wanted. Even and beautifully shaped. I went again for the second time yesterday. Super excited about getting my nails done again (I had moved & gotten surgery since my last visit, so my nails were busted) I walk in and see Brian, naturally I went to sit at his table. And he begins to do my nails. Taking his sweet time and it was unusual to me. But I let him proceed.... he ended up putting wrong nail sizes on me, he cut my cuticles BAD!! and shaped them in a ugly round shape . I asked him to shape them really square and he barely tried. He laid down the acrylic and finished. Then kept making them "square" at this moment I was already really displeased and upset. I didn't let him paint them. I STILL PAID WHICH I SHOULDN'T HAVE PAID NOT ONE RED CENT. AND I LEFT. NEVER EVER GOING BACK. EVER. Update 4 days later ; two nails broke when I reached for a stapler. FUN. read more

Now to be 100% fair, I will walk you through the entire event. I was at a shop nearby, and decided I wanted my nails done. I walked into the shop and saw a poster that said "15% off your entire services during your birthday month." So I'm like.. COOL. It's my birthday month. This is fantastic. Let me just say, I have been awake for over 24 hours, so I was already tired when I walked in to this shop. Every person knows the hardest part about getting a manicure is picking a color. I had it narrowed between two colors, but as I'm thinking of which of the two I wanted, the nail technician snapped and told me to pick after she was done putting my full set of acrylics on. Fine. I sat down. She looks at my hands and immediately laughed at how small my nails are. I understand I have a bad habit of biting my nails, but please do not laugh and make jokes about it while the salon is full of people. We go through the process of putting the fake nails on, and while she's doing this, I'm thinking to myself what shape I want, what length I want, etc. except.. she never asked. She immediately cut the nails down almost to the tip of my finger, then she started filing into a square shape. I wasn't paying attention for this because as I mentioned before, I was tired. By the time I saw, it was too late. At this point, I was kind of done but I figured I used to get short square nails all the time so it can't get worse. LET ME TELL YOU WHY I WAS WRONG. I have a small cut on my left thumb next to the nail, and the technician acknowledged it. We were all aware of this cut on my finger. Everyone was aware. But how did she still manage to dig her nails into the cut while filing the nail? How did she also manage to cut another finger with the nail file? How did she also manage to purposely put nail polish remover over BOTH of the cuts? Let me tell you guys. I have never felt such a sting as I did when that remover hit my cuts. Man, I'm a grown woman and I almost started crying. The time has come to wash my hands, I sit back down, and she immediately says "pay now." Which is great, but I asked for acrylic nails, not attitude. I paid, she painted, she turned on the fans for my nails to dry, and she turned off the light on that station and walked away. Five minutes later, she comes back with a punch card and instead of handing it to me, she opens a pocket of my purse (without asking) and puts it in that pocket. Let me explain. My hands are not broken. They work well. Well enough to grab a card and sit it on my lap until I was ready to get up to leave. She walked away again, and I decided my nails were dry enough and I wanted to leave. Ended up ruining my nails because they weren't dry enough. Totally worth it. I'll probably just repaint them. I don't think I will ever return, so I have a punch card that I don't plan on using, if anyone wants it. read more

I am quite pleased with my experience at Linda's nails. When I came in, the first impressing I had was it was clean. The technician greeted me and asked me what I wanted. I got a pedicure and gel fill in. Henry was my technician. He took his time and did a great job. The paraffin wax was included in my pedicure. They had an extensive color selection. For my nails, he reshaped them to look like actual almond shape. Overall, very pleased and would go back to them again. read more

Honestly, I can get over the fact that this place is GROSSLY over priced for such a TERRIBLE job on your nails. Normally, I would just make a mental note and resolve not to go back. However, I cannot stand god-awful customer service. The woman who was doing my manicure asked me where I'm from originally. I told her my family is from India. To which she pointed to a red blemish on her forehead and said "hehehe I'm from India, too!" It is NOT acceptable, under ANY circumstances, to mock someone's heritage, LET ALONE when you're providing a service (and doing a terrible fucking job at that). For that reason, I will NEVER, EVER go back. And will continue to advise others to do the same. read more

The salon has changed ownership since I was last there, a few years ago. Have to say ranks in the worst experiences of paying for services. I called and asked specifically if they did gel fills, not acrylic but gel. I was told yes. I then called to make an appointment and they were to get me in that day. I arrived and salon is nice enough, not spotless but not run down either. They upsold me to get Pedi/Fill special. Pedi was kinda bear bones, looked good, but nothing special. Was peeved to find out that chair did have massage mode that I didn't get to enjoy, because the remote was not in reach, nor given to me. I came in with my own polish UV color change type. While I was getting my pedicure I saw my polish get passed around from person to person... They asked me questions about top coats, and I should have been concerned then. OK time for my GEL fill in. I sit down and tech starts the process of drilling off old layer of polish. Except she doesn't want to take it all off, just wanted to take off amount near where fill in would be. This concerned me, and I spoke up and after a flurry of conversation with the other techs she takes off the rest of polish. At this point she holds my hands and asks me what I have on my nails. I look at her, and tell her it is gel. This starts a new flurry of conversation and two different techs look at my nails. Oh I could have screamed. We don't do that... Well Crackers! Half my nail bed is exposed... I am not about to drive away like that. None of the other salons I used before said they did gel. So I allowed them to use what they called gel powder. The end result was ugly. Thick nails, that were mis-shapened, I was instantly drawn back to the 80's when liquid powder nails just begun...You know before they used drills. No attention was paid to underneath, of the bottom of my nails. Only good thing was my polish, she complained it was thick... But it was my only saving grace to whole thing. Color change was awesome... Tried to stay focused on that. I would go back for pedicure, fair price for service. No way will they get me back for fill. read more

Second time I go to these place and I'm really happy with the way the girl did my nails. She took her time and also made sure I got the design I wanted. I do have to say that I was kinda upset that they charged me an extra $5 because of the "diamonds" that my design had. I've been here over the years about 9 times. I go back because its very nice there, everyone is pleasant and its close to my house. After yesterday I will not be going back. $30 is too much for the crap that looks like nails on my hands. Too wide, too thick, polishing skill were garbage and I'm currently soaking off one of nails because I noticed my food was stuck in between my real nail and the tip. What???? So confused. First let me say the only reason I'm giving two stars and not one is because my pedicure came out nicely and because they were friendly. However, my full set is awful. First off, the technician couldn't get off my old full set and it took her legit almost 20 minutes to get it off. She then glued on tips that were way too wide for my fingers and they kept falling off. Secondly, she PILED the acrylic on making them super thick and clunky, then in smoothing them, it was still uneven. When I said something she kept saying "not yet, it's not done yet." So I let her keep going. Silly me. Then she takes another almost 20 minutes trying to smooth them and even them and file them in to make them narrow. I kept saying to her she couldn't file them in because the tips were too wide in the first place. She still assured me that wouldn't be the end result. She had to cut them way too short because she couldn't cut evenly in the first place. When I feel my nails, they are lumpy. You can see the lumpiness in the nails. I spent almost an hour and a half in her chair which is ridiculous. Part of me wants to go back to make her fix them, but she was so awful that I can't bring myself to do it. Needless to say I won't be back, and I would highly discourage anyone to go there. This is what happens when you don't go to your usual salon. When I arrived a told the woman I wanted a full set. I didn't ask for a price because I had been there before and the price is ALWAYS 25$. I got seated and the Man started to do my nail. Now do understand I went around 7 and they close 8. So I do believe the man was rushing, I shouldn't have been treated like that because I was in no hurry to get home. I am a African American woman deserve way better. I wanted a short cut but not to low and I made that clear. The man Cut my nails down so low I might has well even got them . I am not 5 years old my nails shouldn't be that short. To get to the point do not go to their salon is their service Is terrible and a disgrace to the nail industry. read more

Ive had several bad experiences at this place but the last encounter was the tops. I came in for a set of acrylic tips. The lady carelessly nicked me several times with the filing tool and made me bleed. The manager laughed and dismissed it and said its because of my "thin skin". I nicely told the woman more than once that i wanted french tips with design on the tips only. She then got upset saying that i asked for a full color, giving me an attitude when she was the one who either wasnt listening or didnt understand english well. After that she was visibly irritated and rushed through the design and did a sloppy job of the design and the acrylic job. I paid $45 to get them done and now i'll have to pay even more to get them comepletly redone somewhere else. There place is an abomination of customer service. Just don't go here. Aside from the incredibly rude people that work there, they actually don't know how to do nails. Instead of doing a good job on your nails, they talk about you in a different language so you can't understand them. And because of the constant chatter, you get to sit in your seat for an extra long time...for TERRIBLE nails. The Google reviews of this place are misleading. I visited this salon for the first time hoping to get my acrylics taken off (this was my first time with acrylics from my wedding), and a regular quick manicure after. I walked in and the place seemed fine at a glance, but as I sat and looked more closely at everything and it is extremely dirty, disorganized, and just not professional looking. The benches were messy, dusty from old nail debris, and there were little flies and ants everywhere. The woman who started to take off my acrylics literally LEFT after sticking my hands in a bowl of acetone and said another nail tech would take care of me, even though he was clearly working on someone else and in the middle of applying acrylics. What the heck? After about 20 minutes, another tech finally began helping me (except he literally just arrived to the salon after I had been there 45 minutes). He was a very nice person, but after the acrylic removal, he made my cuticles bleed TWICE while cutting them then cleaned them off with dirty water. Just not a good experience. This place is great for pedicures and manicures. They can hand paint most any design. They are very friendly, and easily accommodate you . It is best to make appointment. Location is good. Been going here for 4 years to get my nails done. They have gel, gel fill, acrylics, pedicures, and plain manicures. I also get my eyebrows done here as well. The prices are comparable to other shops. Maybe even less. Their manicures aren't fancy, with massages etc, so they keep their prices low. I get the gel nails, and polish stays for weeks!
