Mary is genuine and has a very strong work ethic. She does not do the elaborate or exaggerate, over-the-top kind of brows (not that I am knocking anyone's preference). o each his/her own. That works for me because I prefer a more natural look. I'be always rceived coplimens on my brows with women telling me that they are alwasy on point-Imean strangers-like women in the gym who have only seen me there when I work out. Mary quelled my fears about the process and explained every step in the process. She was always responsive even after the process was finished. I wll be 71 on Sunday and for as long as I am able, will continue to get my brows microbladed...But only with Mary Saba.

Her space felt serene with light blue paint on the walls, and plants hanging around the window. Not to mention she made sure that I got the haircut I wanted and left feeling like a million bucks. I only wish that the space lent itself to a central waiting area. There were small benches in corners of the halls outside of some of the businesses, which were a bit awkward.

Extremely Disappointing Experience After Years of Loyalty A…read moreweek ago, I brought myself and my two daughters to this salon and spent over $300 on our nails. We have been coming here for years and have generally had good experiences, which makes this situation even more disappointing. The technician who did my nails, Kathy, filed them so thin that using my hands became physically painful. She also burned me with the drill. Every single nail broke within the first day, and two fingers cracked and broke extremely low, around the middle of my fingers, causing significant pain. To make matters worse, while I was still in the middle of my service and did not even have color on my nails yet, Kathy told me I could tip her through Venmo. I found this extremely unprofessional. My oldest daughter had her nails done by Lisa, whom she normally requests. Unfortunately, this set came out bulky, lumpy, and full of bubbles and uneven texture, nothing like the quality of work we were accustomed to receiving from her. Lisa suggested my daughter trim her nails because she thought they were too long, but that does not excuse the poor application. Because my hands were in so much pain, I called the salon and explained what happened. I was given an appointment and assured they would take care of our nails and make things right. When we returned today, we were met with nasty attitudes from multiple employees, including people who had not even worked on our nails. One technician refused to listen to my concerns or work on my nails. My natural nails were so badly broken that removal was painful, yet I was essentially told to soak them off. I had spent over $300 just seven days earlier, only to leave with no nails and significant damage to my natural ones. My daughter's experience was equally upsetting. She wanted to choose a different color, but we were told that if they redid her nails, she had to keep the original color or pay for an entirely new set. When I asked them simply to remove my nails, the original technician who did my daughter's nails waited until I walked away to wash my hands before approaching my daughter directly. She spoke rudely to her, blamed her for the outcome because she had recommended trimming her nails, and said she would not refund her. My daughter is a minor. There was absolutely no reason for an employee to speak to her that way instead of addressing me as her parent. The technician had been aggressive during the original service, and my daughter was so uncomfortable during today's visit that she was afraid to even ask for a clear coat. We ultimately left with her nails unfinished. I do want to recognize one positive part of today's visit. The technician who worked on my nails during the return appointment was professional, patient, and helpful. Despite the condition of my nails, she applied a clear dip coating to help protect them from continuing to break and finished with clear gel for shine. She was the ONLY exception to an otherwise disappointing experience. She was also the only employee who received a tip from me because I genuinely appreciated her professionalism. Unfortunately, I did not get her name, and I wish I had so I could recognize her individually because she deserves a positive review. We are regular customers who often spend $300 or more per visit. We have supported this salon for years, and we do not complain without reason. We returned in good faith because we were promised that the salon would make things right. Instead, we were met with hostility, dismissive attitudes, and disrespect toward my daughter. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. Damaging customers' natural nails is bad enough; dismissing their pain and treating a minor disrespectfully when they return for help is unacceptable. I would have previously recommended this salon without hesitation. Unfortunately, after years of loyalty, this experience has completely changed my opinion. I knew I was late so I said, "please just give me a haircut" to respect my hairdressers time. When I went to pay, O'Hair Salon's Salon Manager made the decision to charge me the full amount of the foil I did not receive- I would. have been ok for a fee but $175 for being 30 minutes late .?? AND, in addition to paying around $230 4 times a year for seven years.... to do the math... This is spending over $10,000 over 7 years. To not cut me a break.... not cool and disrespectful, to me, as a patron. O'hair Salon needs to check themselves when it comes to this type of management judgement calls.
