I did a walk-in gel manicure on a Sunday. I expected it to be busy, and it was, but I was helped sooner than expected. The manicure itself was about an hour and while the polish looks nice, I found myself picking off some residual polish on my fingertips. Though for a $35 gel manicure, it was fine! Because I chose a very light and thin color, the tech did three layers. The techs and front desk were nice, and the place is well kept. The prices are great and competitive in the area. I was a bit frustrated that I requested a receipt (after she asked) and the front desk did not provide one. I waited for a while and decided to leave because of the extended wait. $48 pedicure. It was OK. Tech was very nice but the job was sub-excellent. She left specks of my old polish on, did not clean under or beside the nails and I could actually see dirt (ugh), and the polish was put on thickly. Very hit or miss. Pros: they have lots of stations and techs so it is easy to walk in with no appointment. I had an incredible gel manicure here with Vivian that lasted 3+ weeks with no chipping. Cons: my last visit the tech was rough and sloppy. She forgot the top coat on my left foot during the pedicure, and was so rough filing to remove the gel that she filed through the skin and then proceeded to apply acetone which burned. I had to continually remind her throughout the service that it hurt. She also left the acetone on my nails for so long that the skin around each nail cracked and peeled. Veryyyy hit or miss.. To even begin, this is my first ever review. I personally don't do them but this one was NEEEEEDED. Came in with no appointment which was great but when it was time to do the design for my mom's pedicure, the tech Mai just said her nails are too small. As a girl I know what small nails look like and I can PROMISE you she has good normal strong lengthy nails. I kept asking Mai if she can still do the design and says she done with her part and just walks away. I understand if she wasn't the one to do designs but at least let me know in advance so I can go somewhere else. So I asked someone else if she's going to do the design and they kept us waiting longer then 30 minutes then they tell us to give them just one minute if we want design. At this point my mom didn't even want the design she just wanted to go because they had us here for too long. On top of that, my nail tech Tina was very nice at first. But she didn't do what I asked her to. She did full white gel when I asked for white French. Then when she puts the LED nail dryer thing on my foot she kept moving it then blamed me and kept sighing because the nail polished was messed up.. Bad experience. Always had good experience when Tina worked there but she recently quit. Went in yesterday and sat at dirty station. Not only dry skin flakes but nail clippings. I complained to manicurist who proceeded to use powder brush to clean area. I advised this was not good effective clean ( not to mention mail clippings left). I was told that was why a towel was being put under my hands. Omgggggggg. You seriously think I want to sit at dirty station ? You can't bother to disinfect and pick up nails and cap? My manicurist then hurried me along to another station but fumbled for a while not being able to turn on overhead station light. I asked if they had regular station ( which I know they do because I have been going there years) and told they move around. We left her dirty station instead of her cleaning up her mess. Anyway I am traveling tomorrow so desperate so I got nails done but with trepidation. I can only pray her tools clean. So after that things ran smoothly... manicurist did nice job and polite; however, the exit was a mess. There was my manicurist and salon worker (young man) at front desk area. He was sitting down at station talking to her and picking his teeth with some instrument. I stared him down and he continued. It disgusting. I wanted to gag. I don't trust their cleanliness now. How disrespectful and no regard for customers. This experience took me off balance but I will be ready next time with video and photo proof. I left mail salon and called and asked for owners name but front desk person wouldn't give me her name or owners name. Only after prodding extensively was I given a manager name ( told I could only leave message. Receptionist would not give her name or owners first name. I got one name only from female receptionist and that was name of guy at front desk Tony who I witnessed picking his teeth. I have never reviewed this place before. I know a number of salon customers personally and has been going there for quite awhile ... plus always left 20 percent plus tip. I don't plan on going back. After 20 minutes they sat us down only to ask whether we have an appointment and questions we didn't have answers for: Who is ahead of you? This was my first time doing nails, originally I wanted a classic manicure but looking at other people's nails around me, I decided to opt for more. I did the gel powder and medium length nails. Decided to get a pretty pink color before watching the Barbie movie! The color is so pretty and she did a really great job making my nails look clean. I originally chose a color that I thought would match but then I didn't like it after putting it on one finger so she chose one in a darker shade and this was much prettier. If I could give this salon zero stars I absolutely would. I was in about 2 months ago, and was flat out told "No" when I asked for Dip powder as opposed to acrylic. Not only this, but the set I had on previously, they did not remove (which I asked for, because I wanted dip as well as a new shape). They told me no, and cut down the already existing acrylic, and then piled different acrylic on top (this acrylic they laid down had to be soaked 4 times on top of being filed at a different salon, and burned my actual nail once removed). Not only did they tell me no to what I asked, but they cut the acrylic down to such a short length that there was only an inch of acrylic peaking over my actual finger. That wasn't the length I asked for. When I pointed out that the shaping was also incorrect, they told me that I have to let the acrylic grow out (because my previous set was coffin) and then the next time they will do that shape. While my manicurist was doing my nails, she and another employee were flat out laughing at me, looking at my nails, speaking to each other, and had no shame in it. I was humiliated. I paid $226 for me and the woman I was with. The woman I was with did not receive anything other than a regular mani/pedi but I was charged for more, along with me being charged for services that I was told no to. I still tipped because I was raised to do so, but I left the salon in tears. I came back into the salon to get a refund, and not only was I turned away, but when I was called by "Coco", the apparent owner, I didn't answer. (I receive lots of spam calls, so I don't answer unless the Caller ID is shown and known, nor do I return calls if there's no voicemail). I just got off the phone with the salon, and was told I wouldn't be getting a refund because I didn't answer the phone. 5 minutes later, Coco calls. I answer, and I express to her what had happened, and she started to raise her voice, not let me speak, and after I stated that I had to get my nails soaked off 4 times, she tried cutting me off and claimed that THEY soaked off my nails!! They didn't even put new tips on or give me a new set!! This is the most infuriating experience I've ever had at a nail salon and I wouldn't recommend it to ANYBODY. Pictures will be added below. EDIT 1: (in response to your comment) Girl, you are not making yourself look good at all. Do you not see all of the reviews about how poorly you treat customers, how you guys are RUDE inside of the salon and on here (yes, I see your responses to the comments and you're rude to others also), and you refuse people refunds? The only part of my review you're able to acknowledge is me asking for a refund, you calling and not leaving a voicemail so obviously I wouldn't call back (nor would anyone else who doesn't answer stranger's calls), the service that was indeed charged correctly, BUT NOT GIVEN therefore I was charged for services I didn't receive, and the fact that YOU waited months to contact me so it took this long to make a review. How odd. You've turned away people of color, and refused refunds to people who aren't white or your nationality. Please, stop embarrassing yourself. If you won't give me a refund, so be it, but I will continue to share how poor of an experience I had at your salon on any and every platform there is. read more

Jason and Jenny were both great and patient. I had the dip powder nails done both times. Would have preferred lower music since it's difficult to hear with accents and masks on. Heard music more than speech. Also no chatting with staff while doing my nails unless very brief. I would prefer tips on credit card. I was very excited to have my nails done for the first time post quarantine, but I had the worst experience here. I asked for long coffin shaped acrylics, and the first set done was a short oval shape that, when telling my technician I wanted the long one, I was told I'd like more and that I should get the gel polish too. Additionally, my nails were uneven lengths and the polish was streaky. I politely asked a different employee if I could come back later that day to have my nails fixed. While she did insinuate I was lying, this technician reshaped one nail and showed me - I identified it was the right shape but as I'd asked for long nails, it was not long. She laughed at me. At that point I tried to just leave and go somewhere else, but she decided she had time and gave me a new set, although continued being a bit rude.The end result was still streaky and the shape is uneven, but it didn't seem worthwhile to complain.
