I've been coming here for YEARS (since my high school days which is more than 15+ years)! I absolutely love coming here and there's a reason. Great customer service, flawless work, attention to detail, great suggestions/advice and cleanliness. I would give them a 5.... However, I came in yesterday to get tips & gel and a reg pedicure and it was a disaster: For tips & dip - the glue was everywhere, and when trying to clean it, she scraped it using a file and it ended up making me bleed, there were dents in some fingertips after dip...so when I showed her, she said your nails are crooked...excuse me what?! (My nails have been the same all these years and the whole point of getting tips/dip is to make it look smooth and nice) so she had to fix it, small particles left in the nails (I'm assuming lint). Very disappointed! For pedicure - the tech did a great job but took longer than expected. Was thinking since it's reg pedicure it won't take long but that's okay, she was taking her time and perfecting it so I'll let that go. Oh and I lost my anklet here and realized after i got home. I'm assuming it was when massaging/exfoliating my legs. Idk how that even happens. The sandals or whatever footwear they have now does not work: it kept sliding off my feet and it ended up ruining one of my toenails, so she had to fix that as well. They used to have reg flip flops and those were perfectly fine, idk why they changed it. I'm not sure what's going on with them but they need to get it together. Come on Phoenix! read more

I booked a pedicure at Phoenix based on recommendation of a Phoenix client I met at my usual salon (Inspire Nail Bar). I booked an appointment for 5/25 at 10:45am. I scheduled an appointment with Tiffany, as recommend by my new friend. I get to Phoenix, and the technician tells me to follow her. I asked if she is atiffany, she said no and told me her name. The host tells me Tiffany is not available, I assure them that I booked Tiffany and showed my confirmation with Tiffany's name. I ultimately agree to let this other tech service me; okay, sure I'll try the random person. Pedi turns out nice despite the logistics discrepancy on arrival. I was pretty excited that I loved the shape and color! However...here we are 1 week later, and my polish is all chipped off. Insane! My pedicures last no less than 3 weeks; and truthfully, I end up keeping my toes polished from a pedicure for probably a month before I see any issue or feel the need to get them redone. I could not believe this! About 11pm Saturday night (6/1) I was preparing for bed, picked out my outfit for An event the next morning and realized my toes looked terrible! I had to remove and repolish my own nails in the morning to be presentable in sandals. Now, I can't say the nail tech was terrible because maybe the base polish, color or top coat were bad polish, I don't know. So I won't name the person who did them and accuse her of a bad job, because it looked relatively good when I left the salon. But I was HIGHLY upset overall at the predicament it left me in $40+ dollars, wrong technician and 7 days later. I assure you, I have not been to any pool, kicked any dirt or done anything that would cause ruin to my pedicure. I'd barely gone out my house the whole week since I work from home and it was rainy half the week. I contemplated going back with my complaint to actually get Tiffany to do it as originally requested, but I'm probably never going back there again. read more

I strayed away for a little while because I moved but I'll just have to take the drive because no one gets me right like Phoenix. The vibe is nice, it's clean, and they truly take care of your nails. I brought my mom in as a gift to her and she ended up with a horrible toe infection that required antibiotics. She actually had to leave work the next day because she was in so much pain. The nail tech doing her pedicure finished almost 30 minutes before mine, did a sloppy job, and my mom's toes started hurting within an hour of leaving. I called and explained the situation to a girl that tried to tell me that my mom probably already had something wrong with her toe before she got there. My friend has mentioned this nail spa a few times as a regular spot she goes to. So I decided to schedule a pedicure date with her. What I loved was the convenience of scheduling an appointment online. You can select what service(s) you are interested in, date and time. In addition, if you have a preference, you can also select the technician you want to do your nails or other service. Once I scheduled it, I got a text confirmation. My friend and I arrived at our scheduled time and were immediately helped. The front desk had a barrier between the greeter and customer. There was hand sanitizer and COVID 19 regulations posted. They also had a temperature scanner. There is an iPad on the desk, in which you sanitize your hands and are able to check in using the iPad. You can then choose from the multiple nail polish colors and they take you right away. The set up was rather great and reassuring. Although the salon is kind of narrow and small, they definitely implemented the safety protocols, such as sanitizer, temp check, distancing customers, sanitizing between customers, barriers in between customers and nail techs, and enforcing masks. The staff were so nice and the salon itself seemed very clean. I made the mistake of not remembering the name of the woman that did my pedicure, because she really did an amazing job. She took her time and didn't make me feel rushed. I also love that the pedicure includes a paraffin wax, which a lot of other places charge for separately. I definitely recommend trying out this place if you need some self care and are worried about going somewhere during this time. They definitely enforce sanitary practices and provide excellent service! read more

I just stopped in for a quick polish change. I was greeted by a friendly young lady who asked me to sign in and gave me my own bag of a file, buffer and a few other supplies. The design of the salon was very nice and alluring. The polishes were all nicely color coordinated which is a huge pet peeve of mine. A nail tech named, Kelly, greeted me and helped me find bubble bath before escorting me to her table. She was very sweet and we talked a little about what I do and her kids etc. I was a little shocked at the price. She originally charged me $13 for the polish change and then told me she was mistaken it was really $15 but she wasn't going to charge me the additional $2. I thought that was quite high for a polish change. Apparently it is more to change polish on artificial nails, who knows why. All in all, my experience was good but nothing wow worthy for me. They hardly ever take a vacation and they do they call in to make sure everyone is doing well. I was there when they were on vacation and when they called him to make sure everything was OK one of the clients needed to talk to Lynn to tell her that everything was awesome.. My friend and I walked in on a Friday evening without an appointment. Even though it was pretty busy, they were able to take us in about 10-15 minutes. We opted for the gel pedicure over the regular. The gel pedicure is $52, whereas the regular pedicure is $34 or $38 (I can't remember). I think that the gel pedicure is worth it. I also appreciate that they were able to paint my very tiny toenails. The pedicure includes paraffin wax. It was a nice way to end the pedicure. read more

Decided to try this nail salon after receiving a recommendation from a friend. Though from the outside, it practically looks closed (tinted windows, signage was not illuminated, no open sign, ...) i had an excellent experience. Once you get inside, you can see this is a large, well kept, luxurious salon. There were ample nail and pedicure stations, and some rooms in the back I did not see, but I assume cater to waxing clients. Without an appointment, I was helped right away. I input my information for contact tracing, took a very brief COVID safety contact tracing report, and was handed my own nail file and buffer. My tech, Tasha, was great, helping me put my vision to life. I showed her a picture as inspiration, and she helped me find the right colors and shape. Her service was painless and speedy, she was a great conversationalist, and she checked in on me regularly. The gentleman at the front desk also made his rounds choking in on everyone, and remarking on the rom com playing on several screens around the establishment. At check out, you could pay with cash or credit, and you could rip over venmo - a nice tough I'm happy to see many salons are adapting. Overall, price was a little higher than other places I've gone, but the service was so excellent I will absolutely be making this my regular spot. read more

You know it is time to get a pedicure when your toes look like they could help you climb trees. Just kidding it wasn't sloth like bad but I needed some pampering and heard good things about Phoenix nails. First thing I heard was that they were always crowded. That my friends is true. I walked in at 11am on Friday, and there were two parties of bridesmaids waiting taking up the entire front of the salon. So much like other nail places, there are a ton of women technicians and one dude up front (nail salon pimp). He told me that the wait would be long and we scheduled an appointment for 1:30pm. When I returned, they gave me my own baggie of new files, tools and buffers to take to the technician. This definitely gave me the impression of being super sanitary. I am sure other shops, open up a new pack in front of you, but there is some element of control when they put it in your hands. Nail pimp offered me a bottle of water which was a nice touch. I loved that my technician didn't make small talk but was still very friendly. This allowed me to watch Guardians of the Galaxy that they were playing on the TV in peace and listen to the bridesmaid's gossip and wedding planning stories (lesson of the day: do not wax arms for the first time the day before the wedding cause you will look like you have chicken pox). The bowls and chairs were quite clean. The massage chairs were in great working condition and relatively new. The pedicure itself took awhile, since the technician was very thorough. I showed her a simple nail design (basically series of dots to make a flower which I use as a test for nail salons)and unlike other shops she didn't act like it was a huge chore or out of her skill set and recreated it easily. The best part was right before the scrub and polish, they dip your feet in paraffin wax FOR FREE even though it's not one of those upgraded "spa" pedicures. The same goes for manicures!! Two hours later, I was quite pleased with my mani-pedi and it worked out to under $50 with the designs. I only wish they had would come around to check on the drying status (usually they apply cuticle oil then too) but I understand that they were quite busy. Let me start by saying this is only the second time ever getting a manicure and pedicure in my life but a friend was going and I have a trip coming up to the beach so I said, why not. $105 later ($95 + $10 tip) for us both, I can say that I am not impressed. We decided to check out this place because it had the highest rating in the area. Not only am I going to have to cut my nails again when I get home, I am also gonna have to keep an eye out on my feet to make sure I don't get any ingrown nails from the way she cut my nails. I had done some work the day before and had glue on my finger nail that was still there after she was done, I had to ask her to please buff out the ridges and get the flue off. I figured this would be standard, or at least I would get a discount because I did not have my nails painted. My cuticles are all messed up as well. I would expect this quality from a niece who was bored and wanted something to do while we watched tv at Christmas. To top it all off, she told me that it would be $91 but when she returned with my receipt, it said $95. When I asked her about it, she said "sorry". What? I realized it when I got there, but it was already my appointment time so I just prayed I would get lucky and the nail tech I requested would be great! Turns out, Duyen was great!!! Rip off, even though prices are posted they will up charge you at every turn if you don't fall for the upsell strategies. For the same acrylic fill in service I have been charged different prices (higher/lower) by different nail techs. Further, I've taken my sister here three times for designs. As said in previous Yelp reviews, this place is the bomb.com. It literally runs like a well oiled machine. This is my first time visiting and I can see why it gets such high Yelp reviews. For starters, all the nail techs are busy. They are really into paying attention to the task at hand instead of chatting with their coworkers. They are sweet, attentive, and ask for direction along the way. The polish selection is very generous and the thing I liked most was the fact that they had multiple bottles of the same color. If someone else had a color you wanted, you could both get it at the same time. After my polish she cleaned up the area with a brush to make sure there was none on my skin. Very thorough! My only tip is to make an appointment because they are super busy. I did have to wait, but it went quickly and they kept me informed on how long it would be without me asking. read more
