Understandably, near the end of the day the staff gets tired, so I recommend going earlier to get a better and longer foot massage with the basic pedi. Three strikes and your out! Today was the third time that I had a confirmed appointment that I had booked by the online appointment system on their website only to have them tell me that they were double booked because of not cross referencing their online scheduling system with a paper book they use for call ins. I had booked this appointment over 48 hours in advance! You would think that someone would have the good sense to check their online system each day to cross reference with call in appointments. I have been coming here for years now! I have never had a poor experience they have always been so sweet to me as well as my friends and family that come. They try their best to always accommodate their clients as well as walk ins. I've gone in as a walk in as well as with an appointment and they have always been honest when there will be a wait and when they were going to attend to me especially when it comes to what I'm looking to get done so they aren't rushing. LEFT IN TEARS! This was the worst salon experience I ever had...I left in tears. First, my manicurist was cutting my cuticle and even when I said it hurt, he wouldn't listen and cut so that my cuticle bled. I hope the tools were sterilized because if I get an infection, I will call a lawyer. Second, I asked that my nails for my French tip would look natural and told him exactly what I wanted. He ignored me and painted the nails how he wanted them to look even when I asked that he not do that. I finally talked to the owner and he told my manicurist to do them over. after this they were both rude to me. I go to get my nails done to relax but left in tears! The nail was ok, there's some little problems but acceptable and it took. About 2hours so I was trying to be nice and thankful of people's work. Yesterday my wife told me it's too long and she want to cut it shorter so we went there again. It was nightmare!! He's was rushing and impatient, during the session he wanted to have his coworker to take over because he's client was here. The thing is we waited 30min last week and he didn't do anything at all. First time at Goshen Nails on NYE because it was one of the only salons still open around 5:30 pm. I asked for a regular mani pedi and they were able to accommodate me as one of the last customers of the day which was much appreciated. The overall service was fine, she shaped my nails nicely and gave me a great pedi. Regular manicures typically last about a week for me, however my nails started peeling on Wednesday (3 days). I assumed that the base coat, polish, and quick dry top coat combination didn't play well together and caused it to peel sooner. I stopped by the salon on Saturday January 5th to speak with the technician and I assume salon owner and asked for a nail polish change, I was told that their "regular manicures last 2 days, sometimes only a few hours" and suggested that I get a gel manicure next time. A polish change/fix (3 days from my original service) would be an additional $10.00. I asked them to confirm that their regular manicures are only good for 2 days and they did. The technician and owner were friendly but not concerned with the quality and longevity of their services. I took the attached photos as I left. read more

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I walked in and asked for a mani pedi, I was serviced within five minutes. My first acrylic full set went amazing (pictured). Three nails were ruined (because i slammed them into the table on accident, lol) and my nails were fixed quickly, free of charge, and with a calm attitude. Don't waste your money. -$28 pedicure that was messy, cuticles insufficiently trimmed etc. -Constant and annoying attempts to up sell -Looking at the women as they clean the basins there's no way that can meet the health code standard -A guy was there with his wife and as he was getting up she tried to point out that his heels still had a lot of dry skin. The women argued that he needed oil for his heels when everyone knows that they can use the callous thingy to remove the dead skin from heels. I can do a better job myself. First and last time I went to this place. I'm not an overly fussy person but this was just too much to let slide. I ventured off to Goshen nails after desperately needing a local nail artist near by. I read the reviews and remembered seeing this place with specials all the time. So I thought I try it out, hoping it woud compare to my favorite shop in Baltimore. So as I pulled up, I saw just want I wanted. Mani-Pedi special for $38 with a free Parafin. I walked right on in. (the word Free gets me everytime) Ana greeted me, I chose my color and was seated right away. The shop was nicely decorated, not too big and most importantly, CLEAN! Oh, and lets not forget the Celine Dion playing softly in the background, lol. My Pedi- It was lengthy, but thats ok because I don't get pedicures often so work is needed... hey, I'm just saying. Ana meticulously manicured my toes to perfection. There was no holding back. I do agree with the other reviewer that the massage could be a little more intense to relieve the pressure my poor feet have to deal with but they take their time which is the most relaxing. The Mani- So during my pedicure, I was told to place my hands in the HOT parrafin wax and it cooled and molded my hands while Ana did my pedicure. After all that was done, she massaged my hand with this pineapple/honey sugar scrub. It left my hands smelling delicious and super soft. Heads up, they also sell this for $15 but I'm sure you can find the recipe on pinterest or something. Finally, she convinced me to get my eybrows waxed, which I have done once in my lifetime. It hurts.... not because they did a poor job but because they are ripping fine hairs from my precious baby face! It looks good though and she put some type of gel on there to soothe it. She also went back through with the tweezer (I hate tweezers) to perfect them. Everything was worth each penny. This place is great and I have to come back. Hate to say it, but I have to amend my previous review after a couple of really bad experiences. A couple months ago I went in for a basic manicure and the whole thing was totally botched. The girl who did my manicure went so quickly and missed several spots that should have been covered in polish. She even cut into my skin with the cuticle nipper and the pink color I requested for my nails turned light brown and started chipping off after two days. This may have just been the quality of the polish, but then why would they keep bad, old polish in the salon? And last week I went in for a manicure and got there more than an hour before they close, but since they decided to close early that evening, the staff were all cleaning and changing and eating and talking and laughing loudly during most of my service. It was like a party in there (except I wasn't invited.) I smiled and laughed with them a couple of times but almost nothing was said to me and I couldn't wait to get out of there and leave them to their conversation. I am never a stickler about needing a "zen" experience, but this was the opposite of relaxing- it was downright rude. They get one star because my eyebrow wax was pretty decent but I will not be returning- would rather drive down to Phoenix nails and pay a few extra bucks. read more

Went here today for the first time with my boyfriend's mom. I had never gotten a manicure before, but will be coming back soon! I had an excellent experience at Goshen Nails. We walked in today in the late afternoon, and they took us immediately. The place was very well kept and clean. The ladies were all very friendly to us. The woman who did my nails was very sweet and was very careful in trimming my cuticles; I did not feel pain once. She was very careful, patient, and did not rush. Her skill truly shows and my nails look beautiful. She even helped me pick out a cute, summery color that I love and can't stop looking at! Another woman gave my boyfriend's mom a mani and pedi, and did very pretty flowery designs that are gorgeous. It was honestly true crafts(wo)manship. My gel manicure was $30, and my boyfriend's mom's pedicure and a gel manicure was $70. Not bad. And, our total was 100% correct. It's too pricey I gave it 2 stars because this salon is lacking what other places are doing . I got everything at once and I saw specials outside but they wasn't doing the specials I thought it said 30 for gel full set but it was acrylic gel manicure for 30 . I told them I want everything done can I get a discount? The lady said she won't charge me to get 3 short fake nails taken off . I believe they charge extra for dead skin removal but other places don't . If I didn't lift my pants up the lady wouldn't have put scrub wash on my legs other places put my pants up for me so my pants won't get wet in the water . I also had to lift my pants down myself . They don't put lotion on your hands like other nail salon after you get your nails done . Also, I asked if I can see the model hands because the french looks nice!
