Our front door lock needed to be replaced, and my husband and I thought we could get it done ourselves before I left for a work trip. Surprise surprise, we couldn't even get the lock off, and time was running out. I contacted a few locksmiths on Yelp and Avi got back to us right away and was able to come out the following morning at 8 AM. He got the lock and doorknob switched out in no time, was very professional and very decently priced. A few days later, we were experiencing some trouble with the door knob and I reached out to him again, and he showed up promptly to fix the issue. Avi is super communicative, reliable, and professional. I'd definitely recommend his services! read more

I was moving out of my apartment and locked my keys in my trunk. At 8:40AM, on a street where there's street cleaning starting at 9AM! So after plenty of panicking/freaking out/being unproductive I finally jumped on Yelp and found Top Locksmith. The man on the phone told me that someone would be here in 15 minutes, and Avi arrived in less than that! He was so friendly and had my car unlocked in minutes. It was $89 flat, which I thought was VERY reasonable (would have been a lot more if I had gotten a parking citation!). Thank you so much Avi! Will definitely recommend to all my friends and fellow Yelpers :) read more

I was locked out of my apartment, which has an unusual and complex lock, and found Top Locksmith on Yelp. It took about an hour and a half for Avi to arrive, but only because he had other appointments. In fact, he arrived 30 minutes earlier than he told me he expected. Although I was worried the unusual lock would mean we might have to drill through it, Avi had the door open in less than 5 minutes with no damage, on the first try. He was very professional, checked my ID to make sure I lived there, and although I was upset at being locked out, it was a good experience. Although I hope I won't need to call again in the future, I would absolutely call Avi first. read more

Pretty psyched on Avi and Top Locksmith. It was on a Saturday after 6pm and I really needed to duplicate a set of keys before going out of town. We drove around for half an hour seeing only closed signs. We found Top Locksmith on Yelp and drove to the location. Don't look to hard, there is no shop. It's mobile and based in the back of a accountants office. Avi answered the phone, met us outside on the street and banged out two set of keys from the back of his van in no time (less than 5 minutes). He even let me have them AT NO CHARGE, for some reason that I can only assume as him being really cool. Highly recommended! If you need a door opened, keys made, or just someone to talk to, Avi is your man. Since his business is mobile he'll drive to you as well. Make use of this great guy and premier service. I needed the locks replaced on a home that my wife and I just purchased. Avi was fast, did solid work, and didn't try to sell us on an entirely new set of hardware for both front and back door - instead he made smart suggestions about moving an existing set of hardware, while replacing the tumbler mechanisms in the older, but usable pieces. Thanks! read more

Incredible service from Avi!!! Highly recommend! I broke my key in my doorknob at 11:45 pm tonight. I called 3 other places and was quoted $160 - 200 to help me into my apartment. Avi, came to my rescue like an angel and got me into my home for much much less. And..he even stayed and fixed the source of the problem that caused the key to break in the first place. Less than an hour I broke my key and now and I'm safe in my home happily writing this review. Thank you Avi! read more

If you're in need of a locksmith right now, call Avi. We all hate these situations but Avi is definitely the right choice because he is quick, skilled and most importantly offers the best customer service. Avi is very responsive and will come to you within 15-20 minutes (if you're in the area of course). He managed to help me out twice. He is honest and he will make sure to weigh out the options. His rates are also reasonable. Overall, he is very customer oriented (which is hard to find with locksmiths nowadays). I highly recommend him to anyone in need. read more

Tops Locksmith is by far the best you can find in the eastbay. Avi is awesome he made my key so quick. What I thought was going to be a pain in my you know what was effortless. The reason I went with Tops Locksmith was because they where the cheapest. I called back 3 weeks later and still got the same quote . Avi didn't BS me once with any extra cost or tried to discourage me when I was asking about the difference in lock types he understood what my key situation was and got my key made for $150. He even jumped my car after . I will never call any other locksmith ever again Avi at Tops Locksmith is my locksmith for life.
