Ok, yes this place is really good! Since I found this new place..say goodbye to Zanchou Chicken. Lol. Everything was great. The only thing is..the shish kabob beef could have a little more veggies or tomatoes on top or some kinda sauce would be nice...it was a tiny bit dry for me. Other than that, the beef and chicken were flavorful and tasty. Overall..Very satisfied. Small place, but CLEAN and welcoming. I love this place. I get the chicken kabob (#1) with eggplant caviar & tabbouleh as my 2 sides. The tabbouleh can use a bit more lemon, so I usually ask for a slice to make it perfect. I get salad instead of rice, but the rice is pretty good too. The salad is refreshing- a bed of lettuce topped with lots of cucumbers and tomatoes, drizzled with this olive oil & herb mixture. The chicken is freakin delicious- super tender and tasty. My boyfriend gets the same plate but gets hummus and sarmas. He can't get enough of the hummus. The cherry on top is that the chicken kabob plate is only 6.75! What a steal... My new favorite Mediterranean restaurant. I've only been here twice so far, but I will always eat here whenever I'm in Burbank. read more

I have been here once and took it to go - although noted that the place is clean and would be cool to eat at - I was just in a rush. The Eggplant caviar is great probably the best I have had in town to be honest. Grape leaves are good and a good portion for the price! My family loves this place. The hummus i fantastic ( I am picky when it comes to hummus). I always get the chicken breast kabobs and it is very flavorful. I go to this place all of the time because their food is fresh and tastes great. It's in the middle of nowhere and never super crowded which is even better. Only possible complaint I could even think of is that the food can take a while, but it is only because it is fresh and it is worth the wait. This place has great authentic Mediterranean food. The beef lule is my personal favorite, along with the tabbouleh. You can't beat the price, you get an entre, salad or rice, and two sides of your choice, pita (or lavash which is even better) for under $7 and you leave stuffed. Highly recommend. Came her based upon all these over the top reviews. Not sure I get it. When you come here at lunch they appear to be over run with "to go" orders. It took over 30 min to order and get my food. Staff is nice. I found the pita bread to be store bought, cold and chewy. Very disappointing. How hard is it to serve fresh, warm bread. The hummus was ok, as was the rice. Nothing special. The beef Lule was tender and flavorful. For $7 it is a lot of food. But I prefer quality over quantity. Perhaps I was just there on an off day. read more

In an industrial area of Burbank on N San Fernando Blvd, Tonir Cafe is a delicious surprise. Family operated, they make everything fresh from the salads to jalapeño humus to the great Armenian Kebab and last but not least the Ikra (Eggplant Cavier on the menu) made by their 85 old grandma. Yum! Location and decor are kind of random, but the food quality for that price is out of this world. I will be stopping in to get take out anytime I am in the area. This is my new kebab place. I had their #2 Chicken Breast with fries, roasted tomato and hummus; all for $7.50. Unfortunately the food takes a while to prepare because of its freshness. Fortunately they give you endless pita bread with your appetizers while you wait. My only regret is ordering the roasted tomato. I should have gotten two hummuses. They were that good. read more
