Super nice staff here. They are always so helpful! Store has everything we need and have great prices too. The dedicated parking spots up front help when it's dinner time (lots of restaurants near by). We use to order our Taste of the Wild dog food on Amazon, but this place is cheaper, and more helpful answering all our pet supply questions! read more

The store is amazing, they helped me with a stray cat that arrived in my house all hurt from signs of a fight. The person who helped us was so nice that she even payed for the medicine! The cat is all nice and strong and great guys! read more

Long overdue review...one word to describe this place? Awesome!!! Most friendly staff. Great products. So happy they are in my neck of the woods. My Aria loves this place and she adores everyone. Thank you for your wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. I will always be a grateful customer. read more

Always great customer service, all of the employees are eager to help. I'm new to the area and I've received an education on raw food, my dog was fitted for a new harness and I never feel pressured to buy anything. Shop the small guys instead of the big box stores, you won't be disappointed. read more

I've been going here since this place opened, back in 2011 I think. This place has a great variety of selection of pet products, especially for dogs and cats. Most everything is as natural as it gets for pets. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and respectful to my dog when I bring her. Some of the stuff seems a little pricey but it's generally worth it. Five stars. read more

Everyone who works in this store is a huuuuge animal nerd. Honestly, it's like the best reference desk librarian and IT support technician in the world had nerdy babies whose passion is animals and they all decided to work in this store. Just get yourself here, and take your pet(s). You will not be disappointed. read more

I love Tomlinson's. Im so glad they've opened a Circle C location, makes it very convenient for me and the thousands of other homeowners in Circle C. I get all of my dog and cat food at Tomlinson's. Great customer service, very nice store with great selection of whatever you need for your pet. Join their pet club for even more savings and coupons. Keep it local, shop Tomlinson's. read more

Love this location of Tomlinson's! It's in a great location with an array of choices for my furbabies. The staff is very knowledgeable of the products and helpful. Would recommend over all of the other pet stores! read more

Love this store! Tried them last month for the first time. I can assure you I won't be going back to a regular chain. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me picked out a new grain free food for our English bulldog and pibble mix. They did not complain. Today we bought some treats and I'm sure the pups won't be mad about that either. Highly recommend!! read more

Love their self-serve doggie treat station! My pup loves their peanut butter treats. They're always super friendly and considerate here. I feel comfortable bringing my dog here because they always ask me first before giving her anything. I appreciate that. They're both respectful and helpful! read more

I was looking for a specific raw food for my dog, they had it... Natures variety grain free gluten free called Instinct. They had several varieties... I had been looking for this food at a different location from the place I had been getting it, because of storage reasons... It's a very nice shop, employees are very nice and helpful! A little on the pricey side but worth the convenience! read more

I am so happy that Tomlinson's moved into our neighborhood. The staff is incredibly helpful. They leave you alone if you know what you need, but are quick to answer questions and provide assistance if you require it. They always ask about my dogs, how they are doing, etc. For a small-ish store, they have an impressive selection of pet stuff - organic food, treats for achy joints, and even biodegradable poop bags. I recently went in 5 minutes before closing. I apologized and promised to hurry. The staff told me to take my time, and that I was welcome to stay as long as I needed. Where can you find that kind of customer service in this day and age? At the Tomlinson's on Slaughter Lane, that's where. read more

Very friendly, professional staff. The place is clean and they have a great selection of products. Everyone that works there is very knowledgeable and helpful and even carry my dogs food to my car for me- I would recommend them to any pet owner! read more

This place knows customer service. After purchasing a toy for my 7 month old puppy advertised as long lasting and durable, I took it home only for it to be shred to parts in roughly 30 mins. Feeling a little uneasy about spending $15 on a dog toy a $3 toy from Target would of accomplished, I decided to take it back. While not entirely certain what the return policy was, I was going in hoping for store credit knowing full well they could simply divert me to the manufacturer for a refund or replacement. Not only did I get store credit with no questions asked, I received a kind, pleasant concern for my overall satisfaction. This place deserves all the success in the world over the big box stores, because they have the right mindset...the customer's! Thanks again guys, you are the best! read more

This place has the best treats for my pup, Charlie! If you're in the Circle C area, check out this location!

Andrea and staff (wonderful peeps) are always so nice and helpful. They are also very rescue friendly. Austin Dog Rescue is at their store at least once a month and they go out of our way to make us feel very welcome. They do advertising for us so people know that we are at the store and will come visit. We love them! read more

We love Tomlinson's! Our 2 Golden Retrievers always have fun shopping and visiting the great staff. Today we made a donation to the Hurricane Rescue effort (Houston SPCA) and Tomlinson's is MATCHING ALL DONATIONS They're such an awesome local store!! read more

The people at Tomlinsons Circle C location are very helpful. My cat wouldn't eat his food, and they recommended the perfect food! The staff is very friendly, personable, and they are just a business that does good in the world. I hope people continue to support them because Wal-mart only carries junk pet food and not the organic and raw quality of Tomlinsons! Thanks, Grant read more

Only go here when I have to, out of convenience. Don't know if she's still there, but older woman who used to work there basically accosts you upon entering and her vibe is so bad you feel like you can't get out of there fast enough. Disappointing and expensive. For the $$ I go to Healthy Pet. read more

It's nice to go to place where it's clear they love their pets as much as I love mine. The staff is great and always helpful. I love the fact that they remember me every time I walk in the door. read more

I WAS a loyal customer and shopped local. However, I am a bit done with Tomlinson's. This is the third time I have made a trip over there on the weekend about 20 miles from my home and the are out of what we needed. Seriously, if your stock item is always sold out the logical thing would be to always order more. I will do so at Chewy.com read more

This pet store is amazing! Not only do they provide quality products, their staff members are so kind and helpful. My kitten needed a cone collar in order for her not to lick her stitches. The staff member helped me find what I was looking for in a short amount of time. He was kind and went out of his way to come up with a solution to my problem. Thank you! read more

One year later and they remain my pet peeps. Yesterday an employee engaged me in a conversation about a healthier dry food called Zignature. Her comparison points were well informed and the price was similar. So we are trying it. Nala also loves the rawhide free treats. read more

Nice employees, clean establishment and a good selection of pet foods. Good pricing on dog food as well.

The staff at Tomlinson's are great. I've been trying to get better foods for my cats, and I wasn't exactly sure where to go, so I tried Tomlinsons. The lady there was very helpful in helping me find a food that is high in protein, but not as high in price. I want to feed quality food, but I can't afford some of the higher priced brands. I liked that the staff at Tomlinson's took this into consideration when I needed help purchasing my cat food. I ended up going with Merrick, and my cats absolutely love it! read more

Wherever I've lived in Austin, They've always been a quality-minded, community pet health store. Always friendly and helpful.

I will never ever go to another pet store so long as Tomlinson's has what I need. I just recently adopted my lil guy and they have been the most helpful ever! Their staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and honestly has THE absolute best customer service I've experienced anywhere, and on top of all that they carry very high quality items and food. And I recently found out that if you end up having to return something, even food, they donate it to dogs in need! I had the pleasure of being helped by Joe today and he seriously made my day with how helpful and kind he was! read more

These folks are so friendly. Love that I can shop/support a local company so close to my house/so convenient. I also like that they carry local brands of dog food, so I can support another business at the same time. Always helpful but Never pushy! The rewards program is nice too. Thanks, Tomlinson's! read more

I came in feeding hills science diet which wasn't making my dogs condition better it was making it worse. These guys put me on the right path no more diarrhea or loose stool. I wish I had found these guys earlier for my dog. They've gained a customer for life. I was very pleasantly surprised by there knowledge base and I appreciate them helping my dog thrive. read more

It's fine, the employees are nice enough but it's a huge ripoff. They con you into signing up for the pet club or whatever to get 10% off all food, but then just mark up everything 10% and label everything in the store with the pet club price to make it look like you are getting 10% what it should cost anyways. I'll go back to Bark n Purr thanks. read more

I have always had great experiences there, but sometimes they just go above and beyond. Any time I go in there, there is at least one person greeting me (no hunting people down like in PetCo/PetSmart). They always grab my heavy food and take it to my car without even being asked. Yesterday, they were out of the food I needed. Stacey knew it had been back-ordered without even having to look it up, and knew exactly which store to call to find one. Just as I had the thought that it was going to be inconvenient to drive around to pick it up, Stacey said she'd be going there to get the food that night or this morning and would call me before noon to tell me it was here. She just called, on time, to let me know she had gone and picked up the food I needed. I am pretty sure not a single person at one of the big-box stores would have considered doing this. The staff here really show a commitment to customers and their store. read more

I went into my favorite Tomlinson's store in Circle C and became very sad when I found out the best, most knowledgeable store manager Cindy, was not there any longer. I enjoy going into this Tomlinson's not only because of the great products they carry but because of the super friendly staff. I just want to let Tomlinson's know that Cindy will be missed. read more
